This chapter assesses how Charles and parliament had always agreed that his eldest daughter Mary should not join her 'little Prince' in The Hague until she was twelve years old, the age at which she could legally consent to the marriage. Charles was perhaps not overtly concerned for his daughter's wellbeing, as in abiding by the English law he could keep his options open: he had not yet abandoned all hopes of securing a more financially advantageous match with Spain. When talks with the Spanish came to naught, the young princess provided Henrietta Maria with the perfect excuse to travel to the Dutch Republic. As the conflict between Charles and parliament became increasingly fractious, so the trickle of refugees fearing for their lives began to swell into a stream. Elizabeth Stuart had an important decision to make. It was not a question of supporting her brother or the institution that now controlled payment of her various allowances, but also that the Puritan faction in parliament were predisposed towards supporting her family's claim on the Palatinate on religious grounds. Fortunately for Elizabeth, the decision was taken out of her hands by Frederick Henry and the States of Holland.

The article deals with the criminal-legal aspect of countering the illegal trafficking of autonomous military robots. Given the pace of the introduction of digital technologies in the military sphere, it is possible that in the near future autonomous military robots will become a reality. This, in turn, dictates the need, in order to maintain peace and preserve the security of humanity, in a fairly short time to consolidate the legal regulation of relations in the military sphere with the use of autonomous military robots both at the international and domestic levels. The most important decision in this area may be the creation and adoption of a Convention on the prohibition of the development, Production and Use of autonomous military robots, their components (modules).

Planning sample size often requires researchers to identify a statistical technique and to make several choices during their calculations. Currently, there is a lack of clear guidelines for researchers to find and use the applicable procedure. In the present tutorial, we introduce a web app and R package that offer nine different procedures to determine and justify the sample size for independent two-group study designs. The application highlights the most important decision points for each procedure and suggests example justifications for them. The resulting sample size report can serve as a template for preregistrations and manuscripts.

The market growth of modest fashion products is increasing. Rajini uses this opportunity by developing modest fashion products. The purpose of this study was to discover and analyze which attributes most affect the purchase of modest fashion products by consumers. The results were used by Rajini to be more effective in developing modest fashion products. The study was conducted with 100 respondents using purposive sampling. Data collected were analyzed using conjoint analysis with the SPSS 25 programs. The preferred attributes in choosing modest fashion products included “neutral color”, “classic style”, “lightweight fabric” and “normal fit”. The most important decision criterion when purchasing modest fashion products was the aesthetic attribute “style”, followed by “color”, and then the functional attribute “fit”. The “fabric” attribute was perceived as least important. In order to better compete, Rajini needs to adjust consumer preferences in Surabaya according to the results of this study. Keywords: modest fashion, consumer preferences, conjoint analysis, color, style, fabric, fit
