This paper presents a floating transportation equipment (FTE) for the negative pressure suction bucket foundation (NPSBF) of offshore wind turbines, and the basic design and main transportation means are introduced. The hydrodynamic characteristics of integrated FTE-NPSBF structure are comprehensively studied. The ability of FTE as a transportation aid to provide stability for the NPSBF is verified, and the vibration reduction measures under the condition of wave resonance during the floating transportation process are given.

Transportation equipment and traffic signs are one of the important lessons for elementary school students. However, many elementary school students only know the means of transportation without knowing the traffic signs. The purpose of this study is to build and create learning media to make it easier for students to recognize transportation tools and traffic signs using the Android platform. The method used in building this application is the waterfall method, which starts with making observations to testing the system. The tests used are black box testing and Mean Opinion Score (MOS). The results of the black box testing test are that the menu has been able to run according to their respective functions, while for MOS, it produces about 98% results stating that the application is running well. So that this application is used in accordance with the needs of elementary school students in helping to recognize means of transportation and traffic signs.

In this paper, we examined the changes in volatility overflow among the exchange rate of the Japanese yen (JPY), the Nikkei Stock Average (Nikkei), the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX) and the TOPIX sectoral indices for the period of 10 February 2016 to 24 March 2017. We employed the exponential generalised autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (EGARCH) model, the cross-correlation function, and the daily logarithmic returns of JPY, Nikkei, TOPIX and the TOPIX components with a weight of 5% and more in estimations (banks, chemicals, electric appliances, information and communication, machinery and transportation equipment indices). The findings highlighted causality in variance (volatility spillover) among the variables. We revealed that volatility could also spread indirectly among the variables (from one variable to another through a third variable). We demonstrated how the impact of news about the results of the Brexit referendum (BR) and the United States presidential election (USE) in 2016 might spread among the variables indirectly within a week.

Background: The financial burden of blood wastage in operating rooms of hospitals indicates the importance of managing blood consumption. Objectives: To determine the most influential factors affecting blood utilization management in operating rooms. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the operating rooms of the largest tertiary referral hospital in Southern Iran from September to November 2019. A researcher-made questionnaire was designed, validated, and completed by 185 related stakeholders. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted. Results: Model fit indices had acceptable values (P = 0.032). In the suggested model, resource allocation (coefficient = 0.81) and control (coefficient = 0.77) were determined as the two most impressive managerial dimensions of blood utilization management. In the resource allocation dimension, the most effective factors were found to be using trained and oriented personnel to inventory management principles and blood bag handling, storage, and transportation rules and providing in-hospital safe and standard blood transportation equipment. In the control dimension, the most influencing subject was evaluating and reporting the reasons for the date expiry of blood products. Conclusions: Implementing a stepwise evidence-based blood consumption program based on the most prioritized suggested initiatives can be highly cost-effective and presented as a practical guide for policymakers, especially in low socio-economic countries. Based on our results, focusing on using trained blood bank staff in all related parts and providing standard blood transportation equipment as well as attempting to minimize the number of discarded blood units in operating rooms can be highly effective in the reduction of blood wastage and improvement of blood consumption status.

Abstract Based on Law Number 18 of 2008 concerning Waste Management, Tempat Pembuangan Sampah Akhir (TPA) is a Final Processing Site. The goal is to process and return waste to environmental media in a way that is safe for humans and the environment. The problems seen in the Putri Cempo TPA are the worrying land conditions, environmental pollution conditions, and poor management that the Government must pay attention to, because these have an impact on the surrounding community. This also caused a lot of complaints from the local community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of the Department of Parks and Hygiene in Waste Management in Surakarta City. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with 15 informants. The results showed that the management of the Putri Cempo TPA was not adequate, as seen from the many obstacles that occurred in Putri Cempo, such as several damaged vehicles and waste transportation equipment, the waste management operational system that determines the volume of waste disposed of in the TPA, and waste operational activities depending on the environment. operational pattern, namely the method of sweeping, collection, transportation, and final disposal.

The purpose of this study was to find out science learning materials for students with special needs regarding the concept of exhaust emissions in transportation equipment. The research method used experimental demonstration. We prepared research instruments for learning the concept of exhaust emissions in transportation equipment for students with special needs. The results showed that several tools and materials must be provided and several lists of research instrument questions were made. In addition to tools and materials, methods and media must also be adapted to the needs of the child. That’s because the methods and media that are in accordance with the needs of students can make it easier for students to understand the learning material. We hope that the results of this study can make it easier for teachers to teach the concept of exhaust gas emission on transportation equipment, especially for students with special needs.
