The flameproof enclosure type of protection is still one of the safest because it is based on a very simple and, therefore, unlikely fallible technology. If an explosive atmosphere penetrates an enclosure producing a trigger, the explosion occurs, but it remains confined within the enclosure. Engineers settled the concept that, for IIC areas, have to be necessarily used equipment with cylindrical flame paths, which usually feature a round-shape body that make more complicated the construction of panel boards. EN 60079-1 standard, states that flanged flame paths are allowed in the presence of hydrogen, therefore, in recent years, started the production of “Ex d” explosion-proof enclosures which are usable, as well as with gases of Group IIB, even in the presence of hydrogen. This means that the equipment can be used in an environment containing explosive atmosphere with hydrogen. Acetylene is, therefore excluded, but it has to be considered that the environments with the presence of hydrogen are much more frequent than those with acetylene. The purpose of this paper is to assist manufacturers design flameproof equipment that satisfies the requirements of the standard for group IIB and hydrogen applications in order to smooth the path for certification.

<p>This article focuses on the study of the influence of ozonised water irrigation on the morphological, bacteriological and sensory characteristics of ‘Saint-Pierre’ tomatoes grown in Algeria. The results were compared with those irrigated with non-ozonised tap water called control of the same varietal type and grown under the same conditions. The work was carried out on seedlings of tomatoes grown and irrigated with ozonised water at different ozonisation times: 10- seconds, 20- seconds and 30-seconds, corresponding to lot I (tomato at 10-s), lot II (tomato at 20-s) and lot III (tomato at 30-s), respectively. Irrigation with ozonised water does not cause defects in shape, skin or colour of the fruits. They are, distinguished by a round shape, very red in colour, consistent and slightly acidic in taste. With good microbiological stability in accordance with the standard and good organoleptic quality except for the taste character of tomatoes at 30-seconds where a majority of evaluators estimated that ‘they were bland and no big difference for the other criteria analysed. In general, our results showed that the ozonisation of irrigation water improves the growth, development, vigour and yield of tomato plants without altering the marketability of the fruits. This process encourages the use of ozonised water in agriculture since it has a high added value from an environmental and economic point of view and it can be generalized to other crops.</p>

Abstract Background. The aim of the study was to evaluate the utility of Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) features included elastography and B-mode features for differentiating malignant from benign lymph nodes(LNs). Methods. 84 patients with 151 enlarged mediastinal and hilar LNs underwent endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) were involved in the retrospective study from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. Scores of EBUS elastography, EBUS B-mode features and final pathological results were recorded. Receiver operating characteristics, univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to evaluate the diagnostic yield of elastography and B-mode features for malignant LNs. Results. Total 84 patients of 151 LNs were enrolled in the single center retrospective study, which included 108 malignant nodes and 43 benign nodes obtained from 59/25 patients respectively. EBUS elastography score 4-5 differentiated malignant LNs from benign nodes with sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and diagnostic accuracy 85.05%, 77.27%, 90.10%, 71.0% and 82.23% respectively. EBUS B-mode features round shape, heterogenenous echogenicity and absence of CHS showed statistical diagnostic yield by multivariate logistic analysis. ROC analysis suggested the combined AUC for elastography, round shape, absence of CHS and hetergeneous echogenicity was 0.849. Conclusions. EBUS features are effective for differentiating between benign and malignant LNs. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Qingdao medical college affiliated Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital (NO. 2014-111).

Evening gown is one type of party dress that is divided according to the time of use, namely late afternoon or late evening. Evening gowns usually have more prominent characteristics than other types of party dress. Both of the model and decoration/garniture. The application of beads as an evening gown decoration is one way to impress a luxurious impression of evening party dress. Beads or in English called "beads" comes from the Middle English bede which means "prayer" (object of Worship). Because at first the beads were associated with occult things in previous religious ceremonies. Beads are usually made of stone, bone, wood, shell, glass, metal, and so on. The technique of stringing beads is known as beading embroidery. Beading embroidery is usually done by stringing beads on fabric using the help of a needle and thread. One of the techniques in making beading embroidery is the Cabochon technique. The term of Cabochon comes from French which means head, this term is often used for gemstones that have been polished so that it has a smooth round shape. In its development, the cabochon is decorated with small beads strung around a large gemstone which is likened to the head or center of this ornament..The study aims to 1) To apply the knowledge obtained from the course milineris accessories and Houte Couture as the basis in making milineris accessoires and garniture on the evening gown. 2) To introduce beading embroidery especially the cabochon technique as one of the alternative for garniture or ornament on the evening gown, and 3) To improve the student’s creativities in making garniture on the evening gown through making beading  embroidery with cabochon technique. This kind of study is experimental study. The method used is the PBL (Project Base Learning) method. Namely learning methods that use projects / activities as a medium by conducting exploration, assessment, interpretation, synthesis, and information to produce various forms of learning outcomes.

This research aimed to investigate how five different serving shapes of cooked jasmine rice (round, square, triangular, flower, and heart shapes) affected visual hedonic preference and consumer perception (n = 100). Cooked rice was placed on a plate without food, the heart, flower, and triangle serving shapes had higher artistic mean scores than the round shape. And cooked rice placed in the shape of a heart on a plate with food had a higher mean score on ‘liking in shape’ than round or square shapes. The findings of this study could be beneficial to food styling, presenting, and catering in the foodservice industry, resulting in increased sales, particularly in restaurants and hotels. Furthermore, for more successful food marketing and advertising, one can use the shapes of a heart as a serving shape for cooked jasmine rice box labels.

The bouba/kiki effect—the association of the nonce word bouba with a round shape and kiki with a spiky shape—is a type of correspondence between speech sounds and visual properties with potentially deep implications for the evolution of spoken language. However, there is debate over the robustness of the effect across cultures and the influence of orthography. We report an online experiment that tested the bouba/kiki effect across speakers of 25 languages representing nine language families and 10 writing systems. Overall, we found strong evidence for the effect across languages, with bouba eliciting more congruent responses than kiki . Participants who spoke languages with Roman scripts were only marginally more likely to show the effect, and analysis of the orthographic shape of the words in different scripts showed that the effect was no stronger for scripts that use rounder forms for bouba and spikier forms for kiki . These results confirm that the bouba/kiki phenomenon is rooted in crossmodal correspondence between aspects of the voice and visual shape, largely independent of orthography. They provide the strongest demonstration to date that the bouba/kiki effect is robust across cultures and writing systems. This article is part of the theme issue ‘Voice modulation: from origin and mechanism to social impact (Part II)’.

Purpose. Тo develop a method for the formation of anterior capsulorexis for the prevention of capsule block in cataract phacoemulsification with the implantation of a posterior chamber IOL. Material and methods. 135 people were studied, who were divided into two groups depending on the diameter of the performed anterior capsulorexis (CR). Group I (main) included 67 patients (67 eyes), who underwent CR according to the method proposed by the authors-in the form of an ellipse with a large axis of 7,0-7,5 mm along the tunnel incision and a small axis of 4.0-5.0 mm. Group 2 -68 patients (68 eyes), capsulorexis was produced in a round shape- 5-5.5 mm. Results. Complications during surgery – in patients of group 2, a capsule block and a tear in the anterior capsulorhexis were noted in 2.9% of cases, in 3% of cases posterior capsular fibrosis was diagnosed in each group, which required the performance of posterior capsulorhexis. In the late period in one patient of group 2 endothelial-epithelial dystrophy (EED) of the cornea developed, which required ultraviolet corneal crosslinking followed by keratoplasty. Conclusion. The proposed method for the creation of anterior capsulorexis in cataract phacoemulsification with the implantation of a posterior chamber IOL reliably eliminates the possibility of a capsule block due to the formation an oval shaped capsule hole. In addition, it reduces the risk of damage to the lens capsules, ensures reliable fixation of IOLs in the capsule bag and increases access for posterior capsulorhexis, if necessary. Key words: cataract phacoemulsification, posterior chamber IOL, oval capsulorexis, capsule block.

Abstract Background Valvular heart disease has a high prevalence, especially in developing countries, even though there is actually no exact number for prevalence in Indonesia. The prevalence of left atrial thrombus is around 17% in patients with severe mitral stenosis and will increase about 2 times in patients with atrial fibrillation. Although left atrial thrombus is common in mitral stenosis, left atrial thrombus mimicking myxoma is rarely reported Case Summary 47-year-old woman came to Dr. Soetomo cardiology outpatient clinic. She complained of palpitation and shortness of breath. Her electrocardiogram was showed atrial fibrillation. Echocardiography showed severe mitral stenosis and free moving, round shape, left atrial mass. She then immediately planned for Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) surgery and evacuation of the mass. We found a solid wall spherical mass, layered and easily separate. Microscopic examination revealed extensive fibrin, hemorrhage and mononuclear inflammatory cells with the conclusion of a thrombus Discussion Left atrial thrombus and myxoma often look the same on echocardiography, especially when the thrombus is free-moving and round shape. Echocardiography in this case showed a free-moving mass, round shape, like a "ping-pong" ball. The mass also has solid wall suggesting a myxoma. After surgery, we found tha the mass is multilayered which looks like a myxoma. However, microscopically confirmed that the mass is a thrombus. This suggests that a left atrial thrombus may mimicking a myxoma on echocardiography. Therefore, the gold standard for diagnosing intracardiac mass is by histopathology

Colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer in Europe, and accurate lymph node staging in rectal cancer patients is essential for the selection of their treatment. MRI lymph node staging is complex, and few studies have been published regarding its reproducibility. This study assesses the inter- and intraobserver variability in lymph node size, apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) measurements, and morphological characterization among inexperienced and experienced radiologists. Four radiologists with different levels of experience in MRI rectal cancer staging analyzed 36 MRI scans of 36 patients with rectal adenocarcinoma. Inter- and intraobserver variation was calculated using interclass correlation coefficients and Cohens-kappa statistics, respectively. Inter- and intraobserver agreement for the length and width measurements was good to excellent, and for that of ADC it was fair to good. Interobserver agreement for the assessment of irregular border was moderate, heterogeneous signal was fair, round shape was fair to moderate, and extramesorectal lymph node location was moderate to almost perfect. Intraobserver agreement for the assessment of irregular border was fair to substantial, heterogeneous signal was fair to moderate, round shape was fair to moderate, and extramesorectal lymph node location was substantial to almost perfect. Our data indicate that subjective variables such as morphological characteristics are less reproducible than numerical variables, regardless of the level of experience of the observers.
