The article explores the possibility of constructing an electric drive control system for the crane movement mechanism with damping of load vibrations. The proposed system includes an adaptive module, which, with the help of an exemplary model, provides control correction based on misalignment signals with changes in the weight of the load and the length of the suspension.

Разработан алгоритм и проведена оценка прочности сборных твердосплавных элементов со сплошной и дискретной рабочими поверхностями. Получены зависимости, позволяющие установить связь между конструктивными параметрами сборных деформирующих инструментов и их прочностью. Выполнены прочностные расчеты деформирующего инструмента для обработки отверстий значительного диаметра со сплошной и дискретной рабочими поверхностями. Численным моделированием, методом конечных элементов получены распределения эквивалентных напряжений в элементах инструмента и контактных напряжений по поверхности контакта твердосплавная вставка-корпус, что позволило проанализировать прочность инструмента под нагрузкой. Определены конструктивные параметры инструмента и приведены алгоритмы последовательности расчета сборных деформирующих элементов (ДЭ). Разработан алгоритм последовательности расчета сборного ДЭ для дискретного протягивания. Предложенная конструкция сборного рабочего элемента позволяет не только улучшить обрабатываемость изделия резания, но и уменьшить расход остродефицитного твердого сплава по сравнению с твердосплавным ДЭ аналогичных размеров на 6 кг. Полученные результаты можно использовать в инженерных расчетах при проектировании сборного инструмента для дискретного деформирования, а также для оценки прочности сборных инструментов, например, фрез, зенкеров, разверток при уточнении внешних нагрузок We developed an algorithm and assessed the strength of prefabricated carbide elements with solid and discrete working surfaces. We obtained dependencies that make it possible to establish a relationship between the design parameters of prefabricated deforming tools and their strength. We performed strength calculations of the deforming tool for machining holes of significant diameter with solid and discrete working surfaces. We obtained the distributions of equivalent stresses in the elements of the tool and contact stresses over the contact surface of the hard-alloy insert - body by numerical modeling, by the finite element method, which made it possible to analyze the strength of the tool under load. We determined the design parameters of the tool and here we give algorithms for the sequence of calculation of prefabricated deforming elements (DE). We developed an algorithm for the sequence of calculating the prefabricated DE for discrete broaching. The proposed design of the prefabricated working element allows not only to improve the machinability of the cutting product but also to reduce the consumption of an acutely deficient hard alloy in comparison with a hard alloy DE of similar dimensions by 6 kg. The results obtained can be used in engineering calculations when designing a prefabricated tool for discrete deformation, as well as for assessing the strength of prefabricated tools, for example, cutters, countersinks, reamers when specifying external loads

The article analyzes the possibility of using nonlinear elastic elements as a suspension of the working element of resonant vibrating machines with two unbalance vibration exciters is analyzed. The elastic characteristic of the suspension is described by an exponential law, which ensures that the natural frequency remains unchanged regardless of the system mass. Static characteristics of the vibration exciter motors are taken into account. A system of differential equations describing movement of the system depending on the processed material mass is obtained. Amplitude-frequency characteristics depending on the power supply voltage, as well as on the debalance rotational speed are obtained for different values of material mass. The stability of the obtained periodic solutions is analyzed. The constancy of resonant amplitude and frequency of the working element vibrations at various values of material mass is shown. The results obtained confirm the advisability of using an equalfrequency suspension of the working element for resonant vibrating machines.

The article is devoted to influence of the clay thixotropic solutions on the strength of resistance to movement of the earthmoving machines' working elements. The forces of resistance to the movement of a flat plate, a smooth cylinder and real working bodies in a clay solution for various modes of solution flow (bingamian, pseudo-laminar and turbulent) are established. Mathematical models of movement of the earthmoving machines working elements in clay solution are developed and investigated. Dynamics of the working element of an earthmoving machine movement in a clay solution is studied. Dependence of the feed force, torque and dynamic coefficient on the resistance forces, acting on the working body from the clay solution, is established.

We experimentally and theoretically investigated the effects of ionizing radiation on a stack of graphene sheets separated by polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) slabs. The exceptional absorption ability of such a heterostructure in the THz range makes it promising for use in a graphene-based THz bolometer to be deployed in space. A hydrogen/carbon ion beam was used to simulate the action of protons and secondary ions on the device. We showed that the graphene sheets remain intact after irradiation with an intense 290 keV ion beam at the density of 1.5×1012 cm−2. However, the THz absorption ability of the graphene/PMMA multilayer can be substantially suppressed due to heating damage of the topmost PMMA slabs produced by carbon ions. By contrast, protons do not have this negative effect due to their much longer mean free pass in PMMA. Since the particles’ flux at the geostationary orbit is significantly lower than that used in our experiments, we conclude that it cannot cause tangible damage of the graphene/PMMA based THz absorber. Our numerical simulations reveal that, at the geostationary orbit, the damaging of the graphene/PMMA multilayer due to the ions bombardment is sufficiently lower to affect the performance of the graphene/PMMA multilayer, the main working element of the THz bolometer, which remains unchanged for more than ten years.

In Russia, the major share of vegetable products is produced during the period of March to August. This is due to the inadequate volumes of vegetables fit for long-term storage, and the use of technologies of early production of vegetable cultures. Apart from the above, vegetable farming is highly dependent on imported seed stock. In view of the above, import phaseout and improvement of competitiveness of vegetable cultures in Russia should focus on the development of technologies of production of storable products, as well as on methods of early harvesting of vegetables (during the period of May to July). With regards to the production of bulb vegetables, this problem may be solved by expanding industrial cultivation of onions from set onions, as well as planting of both seeds and seedlings during the autumn season. In particular, techniques of production of set onion, bulb onion from seedlings, and of blackseed onion have poor scientific and methodological background. This deficiency results in a gap between domestic and international process and engineering aspects. This calls for the development and introduction of machines designed for production of onion from seedlings that would be in line with the modern level of development of farm machinery industry for vegetable production.
