Needs of considering environmental impacts and growing emphasise on using renewable resources is discussed also in the field of architecture and construction. Timber, as a key element, provides certain benefits with less negative environmental impact than non-renewable resources, represented by commonly used materials (e.g. concrete). Nevertheless, using the timber as a core element for constructing of multi-storey or large hall buildings can be more difficult due to limits of the wood. New task for architects and engineers therefore arises and the target is to come up with a feasible solution for using the timber as a core material, despite its features. One of the key requirements for wide use of load bearing timber structure systems is “modularity”. Many different forms of structures can be achieved by repeating the basic module to fulfil architect’s intentions. This article focuses on a large-span structure, based on gridshell type systems. Such modules could be simply prefabricated and connected to another module. Modules can be pretty small, which contributes to easy and cost-effective transportation. Nevertheless, technical requirement and limitation of such modules needs to be taken into consideration. Problems come up with using the same universal element in parts of structure with different character of load and stress. Also, universal element should fulfil various space and form requirements set by architect. Suggested construction system is based on “fractality”. The goal of the system is to fulfil requirement of final structure and space requirements by replacing the standard module by a predetermined number of sub-modules. Structure is then denser in exposed areas and sparser in others. Design module is than expected to be tested and put into practice for wide usage in construction projects where wood is desired as the core material.

Mathematics cannot be separated from everyday life. The use of mathematical concepts in cultural activities can be studied through the ethnomathematics program. However, ethnomathematics research may not be able to provide noticeable results, especially in constructing mathematical modelling for pedagogical purposes. Ethnomodelling later became one of the concepts introduced as an approach in ethnomathematics research. Based on the cultural aspect, the ability to predict a good day in farming is included in the holistic concept of culture because it belongs to the knowledge system and belief system (religion) in the universal element of culture. The research was conducted using an ethnomethodological approach and a realist ethnographic design. Based on this, this research was conducted to describe the ability of the Cigugur indigenous people in Kuningan Regency to predict what days are considered good to start farming activities. Data were collected by using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis techniques are carried out in stages through content analysis, triangulation, and pattern search. Based on the study of ethnomathematics, research that is able to describe the mathematical ideas and practices of the indigenous Cigugur community can be classified into several fundamental mathematical dimensions including counting, finding, measuring, designing, and explaining. The use of the ethnomodelling approach in research can describe several mathematical concepts used by the concepts of numbers, sets, relations, congruence, modulo, and mathematical modelling.

The article considers the research results of Maik Yohansen’s “The Adventures of MacLayston, Harry Rupert, and Others”. The work is adventurous with the inherent intricate storylines, fast-paced events, exotics, ect. in this genre. The universal element of the novel is the travels. The novel was published in separate editions by the author’s plan, and it gives reason to determine this work as a first Ukrainian print series (a feuilleton novel, a novel with a sequel). The article states the defining feature of an artistic text is its intermedia, that manifests in the orientation at the methods or the silent movie not only at the level of the text structure, the features of the modeling heroes, the use of plug-in elements, the teasers and trailers that are not peculiar to the literary works. There are a lot of cinematic techniques in the novel, in particular, each section is perceived as a separate series, which is based on the cinematic principle of the parallel editing of the different storylines’ episodes. The graphically highlighted messages, document texts, announcements, fragments of notes to the song and even constructivist pictures of Vadym Meller are embedded in the text in M. Johansen’s novel. A cinematic combination reception when a detail in an episode makes the switch to another storyline (series) is an interesting artistic find in the text. The article studies the dialogues in the novel which are very shot like the silent movie scripts. A big part of a novel is descriptions of the actions of the heroes, but without detailing them so the product is perceived as a set of libretto, themes, ideas that would be rendered by the movie master. The writer introduces a new living space and unusual characters for Ukrainian literature (a rich heiress who travels incognito; her mentally defective brother who enjoys dressing women’s dresses; ethiopians, carters, sailors, detectives, prostitutes, hunters of exotic animals, etc.) who are in different countries and on different continents (America, England, Africa, France, Ukraine). There is no detailed portrait description of any of the characters in the work, a separate detail, in which the hero is different among the others, is noted. The characters are not clearly described which can be interpreted as a play with the canons of the silent cinema which scripts were created to order by a director for a specific actor.

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of social net status, which is considered as a subgenre of Internet communication and is a verbal presentation of the owner’s electronic profile. The paper features an analysis of status texts in Russian and Korean social networks and gives a profound description of their textual specifics. It is noted that status texts have a high communicative potential, they are small-format texts, can be creolized, occupy a strong position in the information field of an electronic page. The analysis of functional features of profiles has revealed that the status is intended to shape a certain view of the user’s electronic page the way advertising slogans create the brand image. The goal of the research is to show that the status is a universal element of social networks, and the Internet today is not just an open multicultural space, but a virtual system that subordinates its users to its laws. The study of social net statuses makes it possible to describe the peculiarities of modern web-communication in its dynamics. The paper features the complete range of current studies on the phenomenon in question.

In article need of creation of the universal element of infrastructure which is most considering interests of investors and startups, and also stimulating development of the healthy competition in the innovative sphere – the electronic investment platform of support of startups (EIPS) is proved. Results of risk analysis of creation and effective functioning of EIPS are presented in article and the forecast of efficiency (budgetary, social and economic) creations and functioning of EIPS is made and it is proved that creation of EIPS meets the requirements of sufficiency of resources, existence social and (with some assumptions) the budgetary efficienc

Abstract: In this article, an exploration of the performative phenomenon labeled here as “multi-authorial vocality” will serve to highlight both the richness of the Samaritan poetic tradition on its own terms and to suggest significant future directions for comparative study that can integrate Samaritan hymnography and the Samaritan liturgy into their works. This analysis primarily underscores how scholars need to address the essential complexity of liturgical poetry as a performed genre. “Multi-authorial vocality” refers to the process by which multiple authors shape the received experience and significance of the composition as a whole. A single Samaritan hymn by Marqa, “This is His Great Writing,” provides a subject for the analysis, and a translation of the hymn is provided as an appendix. The rhetorical-performative dynamic examined here is not in any way unique to this poem, nor is it distinctive to Samaritans; it is precisely this more “universal” element of liturgical poetry that enables comparative (beyond noting parallel or divergent motifs, themes, and intertextual allusions) to be done. In Marqa’s poem, some figures are explicitly identified as authors or tradents, while others assume that role implicitly. The approach to liturgical texts modeled here does not deny the importance of the author to our text but raises our awareness of how complicated his role is. The poet is, to use an analogy, as much a conductor as a composer; he orchestrates the liturgical experience, but relies on other participants to complete it. Subsequent performers create their own arrangements of the existing words on the page but likewise need the involvement – physical, conceptual, and psychological – of the other participants for the liturgy to “work.” At the same time, it also argues for the importance of integrating Samaritan liturgical traditions into the larger comparative hymnography discussions now underway.
