The purpose of the study was to determine differences in student achievement using synchronous and asynchronous online learning methods, differences in student achievement with high learning interest and, as well as the effect of the interaction between learning factors and interest factors on student achievement in fifth semester, Economics Education Study Program, Pamulang University. The research approach uses a quantitative methodology with Quasi Experimental Type 2 x 2 Factorial Design. The data collection instruments are in the form of questions and questionnaires on learning interest. Data analysis using Two Way Anova with the condition that it is normally distributed and has homogeneous variance. The results of the study are: 1) There is a significant difference between the average learning achievement of students who apply synchronous and asynchronous methods with the details of student achievement who apply the synchronous method is higher than those who apply the asynchronous method for students who have high interest in learning, and student achievement those who apply the synchronous method are higher than those who apply the asynchronous method for students who have low interest in learning. 2) There is a significant difference between the learning achievement of students who have high and low learning achievement with details of student achievement with interest in learning better than those with low interest in learning compared to interest in learning. Low for implementation of asynchronous methods. 3) There is a significant interaction effect between learning method factors and learning interest on learning achievement in fifth semester students, Economics Education Study Program, Pamulang University

Currently, several universities are using the learning management system (LMS) application for administration, documentation, activity reporting, learning activity implementation, and online assignments. SIAKAD is a learning management system application that has been implemented at STIKOM Poltek Cirebon. At SIAKAD, students and lecturers can download and upload materials, view course data and schedule data. However, in SIAKAD there are several features that are still not fulfilled, such as checking attendance data and recapitulation, task recapitulation and automation of calculating final course grades. In this study the Lemskom Poltek Cirebon application was designed using the Asynchronous Learning method. Which aims to complement features that do not exist in SIAKAD. In the Lemskom Poltek Cirebon application, which is designed using the Asynchronous method, it is very appropriate because this method is not based on time and place and is very good at helping in the learning process. So that students can see for themselves the course schedule, their attendance data, and the assignments given by the lecturer at anytime and anywhere along with the information and values they get. Lecturers can see the recapitulation of attendance, and recapitulation of assignments as well as details of what grades are in the courses they teach in more detail and can calculate the final grade automatically.

During the time of COVID-19, students should study at home and class is conducted fully online. However, classes in higher education are mostly planned for Face-to-Face (F2F) learning. To deal with the situation, educators seek an alternative learning design to be implemented and it is expected to have either comparable or improved learning outcome. This study describes Online Learning (OL) design which assesses speaking performance in ESP classes. The participants of the study were students year 2019 (N=118) and students year 2020 (N=96) joining English for Electrical Engineering (EEE) which has the same syllabus and learning goal. A proposed Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction is analyzed, planned, implemented, and assessed its effectiveness of speaking activities which were done in the former-year-class (using F2F method) then applied in current class (using OL method). The result of F2F and Online Learning (OL) outcome were compared. To complete the analysis, a sequence of questionnaire was given to the students. The results indicates that using Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, speaking activity in online learning classroom, achieved satisfactory result. Designing OL both synchronous and asynchronous method for speaking is as effective as F2F. This study may open another research prospect on barriers in OL, how to assess speaking performance via online platform, or others.

Humans have always wanted to determine positions in an unknown environment. At the beginning, methods were simple. They were based on the observation of characteristic points—in the case of shipping, additional observations of the coastline. Then came navigation based on astronomical methods (astronavigation). At the beginning of the XX-th century, a new way of determining the current location was developed. It used radio wave signals. First came radio beacons, then ground-based systems. Currently, satellite systems are being used. At present, the most popular one is the Global Positioning System (GPS). This system is fully controlled by the Department of Defense, and only the U.S. forces and their closest allies have been guaranteed the accuracy offered by the system. Armies of other countries can only use the civilian version. This situation has engendered the need for an independent radiolocation system. This article describes the construction and operation of such a technology demonstrator that was developed at Gdansk University of Technology. The main advantage of the system is the ability to manage it without the chain organization of the reference stations, which currently work with each other asynchronously. This article demonstrates the functionality of such a system. It also presents results and analysis of its effectiveness.

The background of the problem in this study is the occurrence of changes in the current generation due to mass media that change the mindsets, behavior, and habits of today's youth, accompanied by education that tends to be based on knowledge or cognitive. All of this will result in humans not being human. Thus, character education offered by Jesus in a happy speech at the Sermon on the Mount is character-based education centered on the imitation of Christ, which is to follow in the footsteps or steps of Christ in the lives of Indonesian Christian students. This framework of thought or world view is what Christian Character education is. Thus, this research will use an asynchronous method that is to exegete what is said in the text of Matthew 5:6-12.

The purpose of the work is to reduce losses and increase energy saving in electric networks. To achieve this goal, a multilevel topology of the electrical network and an asynchronous method for transferring electrical energy between nodes including a load, energy sources, energy storage devices connected in an appropriate manner are proposed. It is shown by the mathematical method that this network topology allows using energy storage devices controlled appropriately and using tele-information technologies to optimize the balance of electric energy in the network, achieving equality of the generated and consumed electricity. Such a network topology and a method of transmitting electrical energy can be the basis of digital technologies in the energy sector (ENERNET).

A personal assistant always provides us with a daily schedule, remembers all the events and intimates us at right time. Most of the times, our routine jobs are forgotten and user may get to know new information about our most obsessed things later only. Not everyone could afford a personal assistant to help with the daily activities or help the executive in remembering him/her about the activities. Due to heavy industrious works, a human mind naturally tend lose its integrity to forget most important tasks which may lead in missing flight timings or losing a relationship or even millions of amount. People most of the time tend to know the newer updates or information about the things they have been searching for only when they go looking for it again or when they see in others post. The proposed personal assistant system called Naturally Artificial Sanguine and Tangled Youngster (N.A.S.T.Y) does not violate any of the privacy issues and helps the user to remember their search topics and mobile applications usage statistics. The system has asynchronous method run continuously in the cloud server and finds the user’s recent favourites and activities and stores that in separate PostgreSQL database table. To find the activities and favourites of the user, an android application is developed using Android Studio which gathers the usage statistics of the user’s phone. The user wants to search any content over the web the proposed system helps to do it efficiently. The summarized text is shown as output in user mobile phone
