Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Round Table dan mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis text report menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Round Table. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Class Action Research) yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 11 Lhokseumawe Aceh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX - 1 SMP Negeri 11 Lhokseumawe Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020, berjumlah 34 orang, terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 24 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus menunjukan: (a) Aktivitas siswa dari hasil observasi dalam PBM baru mencapai 62,50% pada siklus pertama. Namun di siklus kedua, aktivitas siswa sudah mencapai 88,54%. Ini artinya telah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa sebanyak 26,04%. (b) Aktivitas guru dalam proses belajar mengajar pada siklus pertama hanya mencapai skor 68,18%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua skornya meningkat menjadi 88,63, artinya terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 20.45%. (c) Nilai rata-rata hasil ulangan siswa pada siklus pertama baru mencapai 69,44. Tetapi setelah proses belajar mengajar di siklus kedua, nilai rata-rata siswa telah mencapai 80.24%. (d) Pencapaian nilai KKM pada siklus pertama PBM, 21 siswa (61%) mencapai nilai KKM dan dan setelah PBM di siklus kedua seluruh siswa telah mencapai nilai KKM atau sama dengan 100%.

The objectives to be achieved in this study are: (1) To describe the learning steps of the communicative approach in writing descriptive text of the report on the observations of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano; (2) To describe the writing skills of the description text of the observation report of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano by using a communicative approach. The method used is action research according to its type. The subjects of this study were students of grade XI in SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. The source of the data is 20 students and teachers. To collect data the techniques used are tests and observations. Acting in two rounds, the results showed that, in the implementation of the first round of Class XI Language Skills of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano in Writing Text Description of Observation Reports using the communicative approach was still in the range of percentage values of 66.20%, categorized as less able. Based on the unsatisfactory results, the second round was carried out, and the results were in the successful category because they were in the able range of 84.40%. These results indicate that the use of a communicative approach in learning to write descriptive text of the observation report has an impact or can improve the skills of 20 high school students of SMA Negeri 2 Tondano Keywords: Writing skills; report text; observation results.

Final Project Report at a university has the potential for plagiarism. To detect possible plagiarism, String Similarity can be used. Text preprocessing is needed to process words which can make String Similarity results inaccurate. The value of the distribution of the results of the similarity that is getting higher shows the level of accuracy is also getting higher. Reports that contain many words can make it difficult to find plagiarism recommendations. In this study, we try to divide the report into each chapter to provide more detailed recommendation material. By using text preprocessing and comparison methods in the same chapter, can determine the characteristics of each chapter. The discovery of the characteristics of each chapter can be used as plagiarism recommendation material in more detail than a full text report. The experiment was a comparison of the results of cosine similarity between the same chapters and full text, then combined with preprocessing stopword removal and stemming. The experimental results show that the use of preprocessing stopword removal and stemming can produce the highest distribution value and the similarity ratio in each chapter can show its characteristics. Words that represent the characteristics of a chapter can potentially become a stopword.

This study aims to determine the results of the development of teaching materials to write project-based observation report text for class X SMK Telkom 2 Medan. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMK Telkom 2 Medan who were taken as many as 1 class / study group with a total of 30 students. Researchers collected information based on the results of observations of teaching materials in class X SMK Telkom 2 Medan shows that the teaching materials used by teachers so far have only used textbooks without teaching materials in the form of modules as another guide in learning, especially on the text material for the observation report. The results of the effectiveness of teaching materials for writing text c reports on the results of project-based observations (project based learning) on a limited trial, namely 30 students of class X SMK Telkom 2 Medan, namely in the pretest test results obtained an average score of 68.97% with sufficient category . Meanwhile, after using teaching materials to write text modules on the postest test with an average score of 80.83% with a good category. These results state that the teaching materials for writing project-based observation report text after use have a significant increase in student learning outcomes with a difference of 11.86 which indicates that by using the teaching materials to write project-based observation report text learning) student scores are better than before.

Abstract Background To compare the frequency of “spin” in systematic reviews of diagnostic accuracy studies in high-impact journals with the frequency a previously assessed series of reviews. Methods Medline was searched from January 2010 to January 2019. Systematic reviews of diagnostic accuracy studies were included if they reported a meta-analysis and were published in a journal with an impact factor >5. Two investigators independently scored each included systematic review for positivity of conclusions and for actual and potential overinterpretation practices. Results Of 137 included systematic reviews, actual overinterpretation was present in ≥1 form in the abstract in 63 (46%) and in the full-text report in 52 (38%); 108 (79%) contained a form of potential overinterpretation. Compared with the previously assessed series (reviews published 2015–2016), reviews in this series were less likely to contain ≥1 form of actual overinterpretation in the abstract and full-text report or ≥1 form of potential overinterpretation (P < 0.001 for all comparisons). The significance of these comparisons did not persist for actual overinterpretation in sensitivity analysis in which Cochrane systematic reviews were removed. Reviews published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews were less likely to contain actual overinterpretation in the abstract or the full-text report than reviews in other high-impact journals (P < 0.001 for both comparisons). Conclusions Reviews of diagnostic accuracy studies in high-impact journals are less likely to contain overinterpretation or spin. This difference is largely due to the reviews published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, which contain spin less often than reviews published in other high-impact journals.

In the Indonesian Language curriculum, especially those in the Indonesian Language curriculum usedat the High School level of Class X Science, one of the basic competencies discussed is writing theobservation report text. In writing a text report the results of observation require the ability of thelanguage field, specifically the ability to use spelling. To give students a good understanding ofspelling, special strategies are needed. Strategies that can be used to explore students' competenciesin the spelling field are problem based learning. In this strategy students are required to be moreactive and creative in solving problems given by the teacher. This strategy is applied to students ofClass X Science 2 at Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya High School. After applying problem-based learningbased on the results obtained that the average ability of students in understanding spelling is above75%. Only a small proportion of groups whose ability is under 75%. The most mistake students makeis in using comma (,) punctuation. The least mistake made is the use of period punctuation

This study aims to describe the pattern of development, validity and feasibility and effectiveness of attitude assessment instruments on learning the text of observational reports for grade VII students SMP Swasta Taman Harapan Medan. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. The assessment instrument developed in this study was an attitude assessment instrument in the form of a self-assessment test. The results of the field trials show that the results of the material expert's assessment of the instrument's worth were 89.17% and were valid qualifications. While the evaluation of expert evaluation results obtained a percentage of 88.57% and are in valid qualifications. Based on the results of trials that have been carried out, it can be stated that the attitude assessment instruments developed already have good validity so that they are suitable for use in learning assessment activities. In the field trial phase the researchers tested the level of students' understanding ability to see the level of effectiveness of the assessment instrument for attitude assessment. Based on the analysis results obtained an average ability of students' attitudes/affective that is 76.46% with a good category. The results obtained in this study indicate that self-assessment instruments can measure the ability of student attitudes and provide instructions that in learning Indonesian by using self-assessment instruments are more appropriate to be applied in learning so that teachers can further evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of learning received by students.
