The double use of the word with the καθαρ root in the text of Wis 7:22–28 may set the interpretative direction for the discussion of the whole pericope. The exegesis of the pericope in the key of purity shows the following possibility of understanding the text: the moral aspect of purity of Wisdom can be imparted by it to pure people. A contradiction (paradox) in the text which concerns the subject of purity is observed: purity is, on the one hand, a condition, on the other, an effect of Wisdom’s imparting action. A look at the further context of pericope Wis 7:22–28 (in particular Wis 9 and Wis 10) can lead to a probable solution to this potential contradiction: it lies in the idea of being elected by God, which anticipates human action.

The article presents a stylistic analysis of legal language by combining moral issues with the logical use of linguistic signs – text, sentences and words. Particular emphasis was placed on the prescriptive nature of the preamble and on the logical structure of a sentence in legal language. The article also reflects human reflection on the beauty of the text, which is based on observation of the world and results from the need to arrange it according to cherished values. In this systemic harmony of content and form, there is the moral aspect of creating legislative texts in order to ensure security and just rights for society, as well as their functional beauty. The article presents numerous examples of the relationship between the morality and beauty of legal language through the prism of the content of legal acts.

The central part of this article deals with the morality of secession. We present the three main "pure" theories about the morality of secession and suggest the greatest justifying power of an "impure" or mixed theory. At the same time, however, we advocate the need for a proper understanding of the question of the morality of secession. More specifically, we suggest that the best way to raise it is by introducing the notion of "reasonableness" into the question itself.

This work is devoted to the actual issue of adequate interpretation of a fictional work in the spiritual and moral aspect. We analyze the novelette of A.I. Kuprin’s “Olesya” from the point of Orthodox spiritual thought, focusing on the concepts of “human nature” and “natural human”, we reveal the admitted distortions in the images interpretation of the main characters of the work. Olesya’s personality, despite a number of attractive and original features, is incompatible with the concept of harmony and natural purity. Having inherited from her grandmother and mother a penchant for witchcraft and having learned the techniques of fortunetelling and hypnosis, she stubbornly refuses to perceive Divine grace. However, the situation is aggravated by the fact that she did not have a single positive example of a person living according to the Gospel Commandments. Ivan Timofeevich, who calls himself a believer, knows the Holy Scriptures and the Orthodox doctrine, nevertheless steps on a disastrous path. Loneliness, lack of a clear goal in life and useful activities lead him to a false understanding of freedom, love, beauty, as a result of which he becomes a victim of his own passions. As a result of the analysis, we conclude that the romantic story described in the A.I. Kuprin’s novelette, not only cannot serve as an ideal image of love, but should be considered as an example of mental obscuration and enslavement of a human’s passion, the result of which is always bitter and tragic. True human nature is most adequately described in Orthodox Anthropology, the most important postulate of which is the assertion of human sinful damage and the need to restore theomorphic personality.
