Recently, multilevel converters with gallium nitride (GaN) devices have shown marvelous advantages for power factor correction (PFC) conversion to meet the increasingly higher efficiency and power density requirements. In the traditional design process for the multilevel PFC converter, it is necessary to separately optimize the devices of the corresponding breakdown voltage under different level number, which causes difficulty to the overall optimization of the entire system. In this paper, a unified minimum loss model for GaN switches regardless of voltage levels is proposed to optimize the efficiency based on device’s new figure-of-merit (NFoM) (NFoM = COSS(ER) RDS(on)). With the help of this unified minimum loss model, it simplifies the efficiency optimizing methodology according to the NFoMs of GaN devices for multilevel PFC converter. According to the methodology, a 2 kW cascaded H-bridge (CHB) PFC prototype is constructed to verify the design methodology, achieving over 99% efficiency with power density over 1000 W/in3 .

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relevant factors between the completion of continuing education that is required for license registration and license registration awareness. Methods: The data were conducted an online questionnaire survey on 330 dental hygienists working in dental clinic in Daegu. Data were analyzed using frequency, logistic regression, multiple regression with the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: It was revealed that 83.4% of the subjects of this study completed continuing education. The variables that were statistically significant in multivariate analysis with license registration awareness as a dependent variable were marital status, education level, number of dental hygienists, main duty, annual, monthly leave, route of information, and experience of getting official documents. Finally, when continuing education was completed, license registration awareness was found to have a positive correlation compared to those who did not complete continuing education (p< 0.001).Conclusions: The role and responsibility of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association is more important for practical alternatives and improvements leading to license registration by increasing the completion of continuing education and license registration awareness.

This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of age, education level, number of children, husband's support, role of family planning officers, and public perception simultaneously on the decision of fertile age couples (PUS) in the use of contraceptives in Badung Regency. 2) analyze the effect of age, education level, number of children, husband's support, role of family planning officers, and partial public perception of the decision of fertile age couples (PUS) in the use of contraceptives in Badung Regency. The research population was all couples of childbearing age (PUS) in Badung Regency, with a total sample of 156 respondents determined by the slovin method. The research method used is observation, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and logistic regression analysis. The results of the study found that age, education level, number of children, husband's support, role of family planning officers, and public perception simultaneously had a significant effect on the use of contraceptives in Badung Regency. Then, age, number of children, husband's support, and public perception partially have a positive and significant effect on the use of contraceptives, while the level of education and the role of family planning officers partially have no significant effect on the use of contraceptives.

Abstract The agrosilvopastoral management pattern can provide multiple benefits to integrating the agriculture sector with the interrelated forestry and livestock sectors. This research in Namaa sub-village, Pelauw Village. The research aimed to : 1) Knowing the respondent's characteristics in agrosilvopastoral management, and 2) The contribution of the agrosilvopastoral pattern to improve community's economy. This research was conducted by using the purposive sampling method, with a representation of the 20 households of farmers. Primary and secondary data were taken by observation and interviews related to respondents' income and the agrosilvopastoral pattern. The data obtained were analyzed with a quantitative approach and qualitative descriptions. The results showed that the respondents' characteristics were the factors that influenced the management of agrosilvopastoral, namely the level of education, age level, number of family members, land area, and land ownership status, while the contribution of an agrosilvopastoral for respondents was 274,882,000 / year.

Using frontier boundary will reduce the memory usage for a closed list, and improve graph size expansion. The blind algorithms, depth-first frontier Searches, and breadth-first frontier Searches were used to compare the memory usage in slide tile puzzles as an example of the cyclic graph. This paper aims to prove that breadth-first frontier search is better than depth-first frontier search in memory usage. Both opened and closed lists in the cyclic graph are used. The level number and nodes count at each level for slide tile puzzles are changed when starting from different empty tile location. Eventually, the unorganized spiral path in depth-first search appears clearly through moving inside the graph to find goals.</span></span></p>

The success of upland rice farming in increasing farmers' income requires high participation in farming management in order to provide optimal results. The purposes of this study were to determine the socio-economic characteristics of farmers, to analyze farming, to determine farmer participation, and to analyze the factors that determine the participation of Dayak Kenyah farmers in upland rice farming. This research was conducted in Long Anai and Sungai Bawang Villages, Kutai Kartanegara District. The characteristics of upland rice farming of the Dayak Kenyah tribe in terms of gender, age, education level, number of family dependents, land area, and income. Upland rice farmers of Dayak Kenyah tribe still apply cultural customs in most stages of upland rice farming. The level of community participation was high and is at the partnership stage. The factors that determine the participation of Dayak Kenyah tribe farmers in upland rice farming are culture, ideas, labor, working time, and farming capital.

The observed supernova broadband light curves serve as an extensive source of information about the physics of presupernovae and about the processes taking place during supernova outbursts. Their modeling requires complex calculations using radiation-hydrodynamic codes. The paper proposes to modify the STELLA radiation-hydrodynamic code to take into account NLTE (local thermodynamic equilibrium) effects in the calculation of supernova light curves. The paper provides a theoretical justification for the need to take into account the effects of NLTE when calculating the level number densities of multicharged plasma in a supernova envelope. A modification of equations of time-dependent radiation transfer and the equation of gas energy to take into account the NLTE effects is described. Various methods of mean opacity coefficients in the expanding envelope of supernovae are analyzed.

Any knot [Formula: see text] in genus-[Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]-bridge position can be moved by isotopy to lie in a union of [Formula: see text] parallel tori tubed by [Formula: see text] tubes so that [Formula: see text] intersects each tube in two spanning arcs, which we call a leveling of the position. The minimal [Formula: see text] for which this is possible is an invariant of the position, called the level number. In this work, we describe the leveling by the braid group on two points in the torus, which yields a numerical invariant of the position, called the [Formula: see text]-length. We show that the [Formula: see text]-length equals the level number. We then find braid descriptions for [Formula: see text]-positions of all [Formula: see text]-bridge knots providing upper bounds for their level numbers and also show that the [Formula: see text]-pretzel knot has level number two.
