The book of essays and interviews was published in September 2021; the unique 20-year experience of training pedagogues, psychologists-practitioners, children's movement organisers, specialists in upbringing, social work, as well as defectologists, tutors in the unique educational environment of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology at Kostroma State University is revealed in it. The book tells about the history and traditions of the Institute, its legendary teachers and alumni; the areas of training implemented at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology as well as the main vectors of scientific research work and international cooperation are mentioned. The publication is recommended to youth workers, teachers at schools, higher and vocational educational institutions, to post- and undergraduates and, in fact, to a wide range of readers.

The paper is dedicated to furthering the research into different aspects of Montenegrin sovereign status gained the Congress of Berlin, with a focus on the country’s financial sovereignty. Becoming an independent state had great historical significance for Montenegro, marking the realisation of the centuries-old aspirations for liberation. Still, exercising sovereign power proved challenging for Montenegro as the country was still an underdeveloped, agrarian country with a high percentage of illiterate population, scarce human resources and modest economic opportunities. Aside from this, there were still many congressional restrictions to exercising the rights acquired by gaining access to the sea. The author seeks to determine the reasons for the high level of indebtedness, as well as the decisions made in trying to resolve the challenges in maintaining the country’s financial sovereignty. The author also touches upon the broader subject of the role of gold standard in international trade and argues to which extent Montenegro was able to adhere to this internationally accepted standard, having established its banking institutions and having introduced its own currency. Considering that this paper is a part of the scientific research work on the project ‘Montenegro on the political and cultural map of Europe’ (CLIO MAP), exhibiting the reasons for minting the first Montenegrin coin is but a way to examine a segment in exibiting the country’s sovereign status acquired at the Congress of Berlin.

The primary function of the university, in addition to education, is scientific research. At Bosnia and Herzegovina universities, the scientific research has been neglected. There are two basic reasons for that. The first is insufficient financial investment in science and research, and the second is an underdeveloped awareness of the importance of scientific research work, both in the society of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in universities themselves. This paper indicates what needs to be done to overcome this latter difficulty. In addition, the possibilities for improving science and shaping the science system at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to make them research universities were analysed. Scientific research work builds on research and development work, technological development, cooperation with the economy and the development of science and technology parks. These activities are even less represented at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina than scientific research work. This paper shows the ways how to overcome these difficulties, so that research universities become carriers of the technological development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In computer vision and artificial intelligence, text recognition and analysis based on images play a key role in the text retrieving process. Enabling a machine learning technique to recognize handwritten characters of a specific language requires a standard dataset. Acceptable handwritten character datasets are available in many languages including English, Arabic, and many more. However, the lack of datasets for handwritten Pashto characters hinders the application of a suitable machine learning algorithm for recognizing useful insights. In order to address this issue, this study presents the first handwritten Pashto characters image dataset (HPCID) for the scientific research work. This dataset consists of fourteen thousand, seven hundred, and eighty-four samples—336 samples for each of the 44 characters in the Pashto character dataset. Such samples of handwritten characters are collected on an A4-sized paper from different students of Pashto Department in University of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. On total, 336 students and faculty members contributed in developing the proposed database accumulation phase. This dataset contains multisize, multifont, and multistyle characters and of varying structures.

AbstractToday we live a high increasing digitalization in industry 4.0. As part of the evolution of CAD solutions on the market, there is a particular interest in new generation software which are distributed as Software-as-a- Service (SaaS) such as Onshape, 3D Experience, Fusion 360, etc. In order to prepare engineering students for integrating such software within the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), a further practicing study is carried out in this paper. This study aims to identify, analyze, experiment, evaluate and compare the capacities of Cloud-based CAD solutions on the market and in scientific research work in order to define potential benefits for their implementation in mechanical engineering education. Therefore, we tested two use scenarios of the two Cloud-based software; Onshape and Fusion 360 on a case study. Then, we discussed the comparison results.

The article elucidates directions of scientific-research work development in the field of forming and using library collections in SPSTL SB RAS. Within the frames of the Library scientific projects some problems of research activities – value, ideological, communicative and others – aimed at active practical reform and widening the professional field of scientific libraries system’ resource base are presented. The review of researches, done by the authors, includes the analysis of regularities and tendencies of the departmental and territorial system of libraries collections forming and preserving as well as approaches, forms and methods of studying documentary resources in the retrospective and at present – in the context of growing indicators of digital resources usage. The article exposes, on the one hand, the objective preconditions for libraries’ interaction and, on the other hand – negative tendencies such as growth of collections breaking up and non-coordination of document resources forming policy, further deepening of departmental and regional differences. The problem of territorial libraries cooperation with the aim of growing the joint territorial library stock effectiveness is actual. Scientific-research work (SRW) in the large modern library is an independent complex kind of activities, promoting its development as an open social system and its vital preservation in the environment of other information structures. Departmental, regional, national research programs determine libraries scientific research themes. The results of libraries scientific-research work are regarded as equal with other scientific-research establishments’ contribution into the solution of the large-scaled scientific-industrial problems.

In the scientific research work, under the above title, we dealt with the analysis of the already performed audits of the business of the American electric power corporation Enron which went bankrupt. We did a similar analysis through the prism of the already existing triangular connection on the relation: absence of moral vertical (by vocation, above all, business provenance) - greed - incompetence (we can say, unprofessionalism), ie. marketing unethics. Primarily, the emphasis was on the audit of Enron's financial and accounting reports but inevitably there was also an audit of compliance with the legal procedure, precisely during the procurement of certain resources necessary for business and finally an operational audit was performed, that is, an audit of the entire business. Using the technique of in-depth recording of the business vs. financial situation, in fact already performed audits, we tried to scan first and then to explain the correlation of neuralgic points which led to its bankruptcy. By pointing out the connections of at least harmful influences as well as their scope and intensity we try to , by using qualitative analysis, positively influence other current ones or corporations which will only enter the market scene
