Abstract The problem of livestock premises air environment parameters ensuring in terms of temperature, humidity and CO2 gas content, established by zoo technical standards, is considered. The problem is formulated as a problem with non-linearity object and consists in its phase (temperature, humidity and CO2 gas content) coordinates stabilizing by the premises heating capacity and its air exchange intensity controlling. A mathematical model of control object’s dynamics parameters based on material flows and energy balance equations is developed. A cyclic algorithm for this problem solving has been developed, it consists of two successive stages: the control search this problem solving, and the found control establishment until any of the coordinates’ phase go beyond the established limits due to disturbances.The search for the control vector consists in periodic relay switching of its coordinates from specified maximum to minimum values so that the phase coordinates remain in the region of permissible variation. It is shown that the control vector corresponding coordinates as their average values for the switching cycle are defined. A block diagram of the control system implementing the developed algorithm is presented. The calculation data are given for a pigsty for 1300 animals.

The relevance of the study of personal resources is related to the importance of knowledge about the factors that determine a person’s mental health despite living conditions. The research aim was to study the emotional intelligence as a coping resource of codependent women. Sample: 19 women aged 32 to 47 years who are in a close relationship with a chemically dependent person. All women are clients of groups that help relatives of dependent people in Kostroma. Methods: The Mayer — Salovey — Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test 1998 (MSCEIT v. 2.0), adaptation in Russian (Sergienko & Vetrova, 2010); Co-Dependency Assessment Inventory (Weinhold & Weinhold, 2008); Ways of Coping Questionnaire, Folkman & Lazarus, 1988, adaptation in Russian (Kryukova, 2010); Projective technique «Man in the rain» by E. V. Romanova, T. I. Sytko (1992). The results indicate a lower development of emotional intelligence, the ability to understand emotions and consciously manage them, and features of the emotional sphere were found: feelings of insecurity, emotional coldness, impulsiveness and infantile. 47 % of women cope with the situation of dependence of a loved one unconstructively and are prone to excessive self-control, search for social support, and strive to solve the problem in any way. This does not allow you to cope with the dependence of a loved one and with your own codependent state. Regression analysis shows a fairly positive impact on coping behavior of the ability to understand and analyze emotions, use them in solving problems, consciously manage them, and predict their emotional States in the future. On the one hand, distance from the situation is reduced, on the other hand, emotional intelligence creates conditions for confrontation with the dependent behavior of a loved one and for a positive reevaluation of the situation in the context of strengthening one’s own personality. These results allow us to speak about the resource role of emotional intelligence in the situation of codependent relationships.

Background In the absence of vaccines and established treatments, nonpharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) are fundamental tools to control coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission. NPIs require public interest to be successful. In the United States, there is a lack of published research on the factors that influence public interest in COVID-19. Using Google Trends, we examined the US level of public interest in COVID-19 and how it correlated to testing and with other countries. Objective The aim of this study was to determine how public interest in COVID-19 in the United States changed over time and the key factors that drove this change, such as testing. US public interest in COVID-19 was compared to that in countries that have been more successful in their containment and mitigation strategies. Methods In this retrospective study, Google Trends was used to analyze the volume of internet searches within the United States relating to COVID-19, focusing on dates between December 31, 2019, and March 24, 2020. The volume of internet searches related to COVID-19 was compared to that in other countries. Results Throughout January and February 2020, there was limited search interest in COVID-19 within the United States. Interest declined for the first 21 days of February. A similar decline was seen in geographical regions that were later found to be experiencing undetected community transmission in February. Between March 9 and March 12, 2020, there was a rapid rise in search interest. This rise in search interest was positively correlated with the rise of positive tests for SARS-CoV-2 (6.3, 95% CI −2.9 to 9.7; P<.001). Within the United States, it took 52 days for search interest to rise substantially after the first positive case; in countries with more successful outbreak control, search interest rose in less than 15 days. Conclusions Containment and mitigation strategies require public interest to be successful. The initial level of COVID-19 public interest in the United States was limited and even decreased during a time when containment and mitigation strategies were being established. A lack of public interest in COVID-19 existed in the United States when containment and mitigation policies were in place. Based on our analysis, it is clear that US policy makers need to develop novel methods of communicating COVID-19 public health initiatives.

Copaiba oil is a low-cost herbal medicine with scientifically proven anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, antitumor,and healing action.


This paper presents the C code optimization of Oppositional Whale Grey Wolf Algorithm with Control Search Space (OWGWA-CSS) used for denoising EEG signal for its real-time implementation on floating point DSP processor TMS320C6713. In general, developers tried to speed up the program all-time which leads to increase in the code size so as increase the complexity as well as difficult readability. To make the code efficient it is important to optimize the C code. For optimizing the C code first, the MATLAB code is converted to C and then implemented on DSP processor. Here, multiple C code optimization techniques for the efficient implementation of OWGWA-CSS algorithm on DSP processor TMS320C6713 is presented. The aim of optimizing C code is to reduce the computational burden and speed up the process. The work done here is a step to minimize Millions Instruction Per Second (MIPS) used to execute the c- code of OWGWA-CSS EEG noise cancellation algorithm. The C code optimization is done by using Code Composer Studio (Integrated Development environment for TMS320C67xx series). CCS is used for optimization, profiling, debugging and implementation. After applying various C code optimization techniques 25% reduction in MIPS has been obtained.
