Water treatment priority water resources that are approved for air retention, Increased peak flow and improved water quality with regard to nutrients, pollutants, heavy metals and sediments. Bioretensi system is one alternative in improving air quality from rainwater runoff and reducing peak loads which also reduces runoff volume due to rain water.Management of urban water resources must be adapted to local conditions and sustainable. Bioretensi is a local infiltration media consisting of mixed soil and vegetation to absorb and manage rainwater so that it does not direct to the air body. The study was approved by the experimental research carried out with further research namely Bucket Bioretensi Design, installation, and testing. Some of the tests conducted on Bucket Bioretensi are rainwater quality testing, studying the level of infiltration by comparing the volume of inflows when opening a biretensi box and the volume of exits after going through a Bucket Bioretency. Bioretensi Bucket is made from used jerry cans with a capacity of 20 liters with dimensions of 27cm x 23cm x 37cm. Material obtained from high density polyethylene HDPE.  After experimenting with Bucket Bioretensi I produced 25% of the volume of air coming out, so 75% of the air received into the Bucket Bioretency system. Water coming out of the Bucket Bioretensi will visit the laboratory to test the air quality.

Abstract Background Anti-transcriptional intermediary factor 1 gamma (TIF1γ) antibody is a marker for predicting cancer association in patients with dermatomyositis (DM). The overall survival rate in DM patients with cancer was reported to be considerably worse than that in DM patients without cancer. However, the treatment for cancer-associated DM remains controversial, because the treatment priority between surgical resection for the tumor and internal treatments, including glucocorticoids, immunosuppressive agents, and intravenous immune globulin, has not been established. Case presentation We report the case of a 57-year-old Japanese man diagnosed with anti-TIF1γ antibody-positive DM associated with ascending colon cancer. His clinical symptoms included facial and brachial edema, muscle weakness, dysphagia, myalgia, and rash. Physical examination revealed periorbital edema and Gottron's papules over his knuckles with brachial edema, and tenderness and weakness of the proximal limb muscles. The findings of hyperintense muscles in T2-weighted sequences of brachial contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging and the infiltration of lymphocytic cells and CD4-positive lymphocytes from muscle biopsy were compatible with the diagnostic criteria for dermatomyositis. Anti-TIF1γ antibody was positive by immunoprecipitation assay. He first started internal treatment including intravenous immunoglobulin, steroid pulse, prednisolone, and azathioprine, followed by surgical resection for the tumor because of the elevation of creatine kinase and progression of dysphagia. However, clinical symptoms did not improve, and the patient died 6 months later. Conclusions We faced difficulties in determining the treatment priority between surgical resection and internal treatment for our case; therefore, this case would be educational for readers. We searched PubMed to identify English-language case reports of anti-TIF1γ antibody-positive dermatomyositis with malignancy and found 21 reported cases. We herein review and summarize previously reported cases of anti-TIF1γ antibody-positive DM with malignancy. Cancer screening is essential in patients with anti-TIF1γ antibody-positive dermatomyositis because it is associated with a high prevalence of malignancies. Our review revealed that initial surgical treatment should be recommended for better prognosis if the general condition allows.

Standard models of hierarchy assume that agents and middle managers are better informed than principals. We estimate the value of the informational advantage held by supervisors—middle managers—when ministerial leadership—the principal—introduced a new monitoring technology aimed at improving the performance of agricultural extension agents (AEAs) in rural Paraguay. Our approach employs a novel experimental design that elicited treatment‐priority rankings from supervisors before randomization of treatment. We find that supervisors have valuable information—they prioritize AEAs who would be more responsive to the monitoring treatment. We develop a model of monitoring under different scales of treatment roll‐out and different treatment allocation rules. We semiparametrically estimate marginal treatment effects (MTEs) to demonstrate that the value of information and the benefits to decentralizing treatment decisions depend crucially on the sophistication of the principal and on the scale of roll‐out.

Background: Malnutrition is one of serious public health problems that still need treatment priority. Besides the problem of over-nutrition continues to increase, the problem of under-nutrition has not been resolved properly. Utilization of local food such as galohgor can be an alternative to meet the nutritional needs. Objectives: The present study was aimed to analyze the effect of galohgor cookies intake by postpartum mothers on the newborn’s growth. Methods: The design was quasi-experimental design. There were two groups including the control group (CG) (n = 9) and the intervention group (GG) (n = 9). Postpartum mothers aged 20-35 years (parity between 2 and 5) with normal delivery and had no medical indication were involved in this study. A total of four pieces of cookie (~ 4 g of galohgor powder) were consumed daily from the 1st day until the 40th day after delivery. Anthropometric data (height, body weight, and head circumference) were obtained on day 0, 14 and 40 after delivery. Meanwhile, human milk samples were taken on day 14 and 40 to analyze the levels of human milk insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I). Results: The newborns in the GG had significantly heavier weight and larger head circumference than CG on day 14 and 40 after delivery (p <0.05). IGF-I could be maintained by consuming galohgor during postpartum period. However, this study found no differences in body length of both control and intervention group (p> 0.05). Conclusions: Intake of galohgor cookies by postpartum mothers might support the newborn’s growth.

We report our experience during COVID-19 outbreak for intravitreal injections in patients with maculopathy. We proposed a treatment priority levels and timings; the “High” priority level includes all monocular patients; the “Moderate” is assigned to all patients with an active macular neovascularization; the patients affected by diabetic macular edema or retinal vein occlusion belong to the “Low” class. This organization allowed us to treat the most urgent patients although the injections performed had a 91.7% drop compared to the same period of 2019.

Abstract Cognitive impairment has emerged as a key treatment priority in neuropsychiatric disorders. However, there is a lack of treatments with solid and lasting efficacy on cognition. A neurocircuitry-based biomarker model of pro-cognitive effects is critically needed to select among new candidate treatments. In a recent review of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies in mood disorders, we found that cognitive impairments are consistently accompanied by aberrant (hypo- and hyper-) activity in the dorsal prefrontal cortex (PFC) and the default mode network (DMN), and that activity change in these regions commonly occurs with cognitive improvements. Here, we (i) review the putative model from our recent review article, which explains the discrepant findings regarding the direction of aberrant dorsal PFC activity and treatment-related activity change in mood disorders. Inspired by the Research Domain Criteria project, we do this in order to (ii) examine whether a similar pattern of activity change occurs across distinct neuropsychiatric disorders and thereby provides a common biomarker for pro-cognitive effects. Lastly, we (iii) discuss whether dorsal PFC and DMN target engagement is a putative transdiagnostic neurocircuitry-based biomarker model for pro-cognitive effects, and (iv) outline the necessary next steps to address this question.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a pervasive developmental disorder, that is rising at a concerning rate. However, underlying mechanisms are still to be discovered. Obsessions and compulsions are the most debilitating aspect of these disorders (OCD), and they are the treatment priority for patients. SAPAP3 knock out mice present a reliable mouse model for repetitive compulsive behaviour and are mechanistically closely related to the ASD mouse model Shank3 on a molecular level and AMPA receptor net effect. The phenotype of SAPAP3 knock out mice is obsessive grooming that leads to self-inflicted lesions by 4 months of age. Recent studies have accumulated evidence, that epigenetic mechanisms are important effectors in psychiatric conditions such as ASD and OCD. Methylation is the most studied mechanism, that recently leads to drug developments for more precise cancer treatments. We injected SAPAP3 mice with an epigenetic demethylation drug RG108 during pregnancy and delayed the onset of the phenotype in the offspring by 4 months. This result gives us clues about the possible mechanisms involved in OCD and ASD. Additionally, it shows that the modulation of methylation mechanisms during development might be explored as a preventative treatment in the cases of the high inherited risk of certain mental health conditions.

Abstract Uncontrolled haemorrhage shock is the highest treatment priority for military trauma surgeons. Injuries to the torso area remain the greatest treatment challenge, since external dressings and compression cannot be used here. Bleeding control strategies may thus offer more effective haemostatic management in these cases. Chitosan, a linear polysaccharide derived from chitin, has been considered as an ideal material for bleeding arrest. This study evaluated the potential of chitosan-based dressings relative to commercial gauze to minimise femoral artery haemorrhage in a swine model. Stable haemostasis was achieved in animals treated with chitosan fibre (CF) or chitosan sponge (CS), resulting in stabilisation of mean arterial pressure and a substantially higher survival rate (100% vs. 0% for gauze). Pigs receiving treatment with CF or CS dressings achieved haemostasis within 3.25 ± 1.26 or 2.67 ± 0.58 min, respectively, significantly more rapidly than with commercial gauze (>100 min). Moreover, the survival of animals treated with chitosan-based dressings was dramatically prolonged (>180 min) relative to controls (60.92 ± 0.69 min). In summary, chitosan-based dressings may be suitable first-line treatments for uncontrolled haemorrhage on the battlefield, and require further investigation into their use as alternatives to traditional dressings in prehospital emergency care.
