Nowadays, remote sensing for structural fault examination to wind turbines is an important technological challenger. On the other hand, laser diodes represent a low-cost option to implement a remote vibrometer sensor by just using cheap analog electronics. Therefore, a recent electronic circuit along with a laser diode is conceived to detect faults on a winding structure due to vibrations mainly induced by the wind and its rotary parts with possible mechanical defects. The electronic parts consist of a sequence of bandpass filters and peak detector stages. Besides, an academic experimental platform is constructed to validate the performance of the proposed remote sensing scheme for fault diagnosis in wind turbine structures.

To suppress the vibration of rotary parts, this paper established an unbalanced vibration response control model of rotary parts based on rotating axis coordinate system. This model considered the stacking transformation of geometric parameter errors and mass parameter errors of single stage rotor. First of all, the centroid transfer model based on the actual rotation axis was established, and the unbalanced excitation force vector of each stage of the rotor was studied. Secondly, the unbalanced excitation force vector of each stage of the rotor is substituted into the model of assembly vibration control based on the double constraints optimization strategy. Finally, the simulation analysis and the vibration experiment of three-stage rotor stacking assembly is carried out. The results show that the vibration of the engine rotor can be effectively suppressed by adjusting the assembly phase of the rotors, and the vibration amplitude of the combined rotor assembled by the double constraint optimization assembly strategy is 22.5% less than the vibration amplitude assembled by the direct assembly strategy. Besides, the coaxiality and the unbalance are reduced by 44.1% and 78.4%, which fully shows the advantages of the double constraint optimization assembly strategy.

A generalization of the results of scientific and technical publications is presented, the analysis of which will allow to develop scientific foundations for the creation of a new class of heat-resistant structural materials based on intermetallic matrices with increased plasticity at room temperature and high specific strength at temperatures up to 950 °C in the Ni–Al–Co system. It is shown that alloys of the Ni–Al–Co system can be used in the manufacture of rotary parts in the form of gas turbine engine discs (GTE), working at temperatures up to 950 °C, as well as materials for GTE blades due to heat resistance at temperatures up to 1200 °C.

Nowadays image processing problems are becoming increasingly important due to development of the aerospace Earth monitoring systems, radio and sonar systems, medical devices for early diagnosis, etc. However, the most of the image processing works deals with images defined on rectangular two-dimensional grids or grids of higher dimension. In some practical situations images are set on a cylinder, for example images of pipeline sections, blood vessels, rotary parts, etc. The peculiarity of the domain for specifying such images requires its consideration in their models and processing algorithms. The article deals with autoregressive models of cylindrical images and gives some expressions of the correlation function depending on the autoregression parameters are given. To represent heterogeneous images with random heterogeneities, ‘doubly stochastic’ models are used in which one or more images control the parameters of resulted image. The spiral scan of a cylindrical image can be considered as a quasiperiodic process due to the correlation of image rows. The article proposes the pseudogradient algorithms for the modal identification. The statistical modeling proves these algorithms give good model identification.

AbstractThe article deals with the description of the production of a shaped part composed of an outer pyramid and cylindrical surface, of inner cylindrical surfaces of different diameters and of an inner tongue groove. It describes the proposed tools and tool holders resulting from the technological process. In order to meet the required tolerances and shape deviations for the given component, the CTX alpha 500 two-spindle multi-axis CNC lathe was chosen for its production. Its control system enables the workshop method of programming and simulation of individual operations in automatic mode or in block-by-block mode. The design of the selected CNC lathe enables the machining of rotary parts in one clamping, which is ensured by the right and left spindle with chucks. The surface quality of the pyramidal surface and the internal diameter of D18H8 was measured using a Hommel Etamic W5 roughness gauge. The measured roughness values for the hole were: D = 18H8, Rz = 3.007 μm, Ra = 0.729 μm and for the pyramidal surface: Rz = 1.527 μm and Ra = 0.329 μm.
