Transient abnormal myelopoiesis (TAM) is a unique hematological syndrome specific for neonates with Down syndrome. Clinical and hematological manifestations of ТАМ are similar manifestations of acute leukemia, but they may resolve spontaneously by few weeks/months after birth. Summation trisomy 21 and GATA1 mutation in blast clone is a required element for development TAM. Presentation of this syndrome occurs in the first days of life; clinical manifestations may be absent (“silent” TAM) or even lead to death of fetus and neonate. The main interest in the study of this issue is the fact that after spontaneous regression there in 20% of cases at the age of 3–4 years developing acute megakaryoblastic leukaemia (AMKL). The basic transformation factors TAM to AMKL are unknown. In this article we represent 6 cases of TAM identified in Dmitry Rogachev National Research Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Immunology from 2012 to 2019. Parents of these patients gave their agreement to use personal data in research and publications.

Cities in Indonesia were initially formed through the transformation of various influences of power and power. Strength as an identity that can attract the outermost area to come to an area, while power lies in the personal strength of man as the leader of a region. These conditions have an impact on the development of the world of industry in the country. Transforming traditional city structures into a modern city, not only physically but also a basic transformation towards the concept of urbanity of its citizens. The urban village as an element of the city which is the identity of a region, still holds a traditional urbanity value system that is different from the conception of modern urbanity. This condition affects the development of industrial zones, such as what happened in Bajera Village, Selemadeg District, Tabanan Regency. The heterogeneity of the population of Bajera Village is one of the biggest indicators of the formation of an industrial zone. The existence of a transportation mode that connects the outermost areas of Bajera with the Core of Bajera Village is another driving factor that influences the growth of industrial estates. This study tried to explain descriptively qualitatively, a fact of regional development based on Asiatica Euphoria McGee's theory. The special attraction in the core of Bajera Village encourages residents in the outermost areas of Bajera to migrate to the core areas of Bajera Village with the aim of staying temporarily and to settle for long periods of time. This phenomenon is in line with the theory put forward by McGee, that the CBD (central business district) is formed due to the attraction of the core (core) and the ease of modes of transportation from peri urban areas to the CBD. This condition makes Bajera village the center of industrial and trade areas in the Selemadeg Barat region, Tabanan, Bali.

After 100 years of theoretical treatment of speckle patterns from coherent illumination, there remain some open questions about the nature of ultrasound speckle from soft vascularized tissues. A recent hypothesis is that the fractal branching vasculature is responsible for the dominant echo pattern from organs such as the liver. In that case, an analysis of cylindrical scattering structures arranged across a power law distribution of sizes is warranted. Using a simple model of echo strength and basic transformation rules from probability, we derive the first order statistics of speckle considering the amplitude, the intensity, and the natural log of amplitude. The results are given by long tailed distributions that have been studied in the statistics literature for other fields. Examples are given from simulations and animal studies, and the theoretical fit to these preliminary data support the overall framework as a plausible model for characterizing ultrasound speckle statistics.

The subject of this research is the economic relations formed as a result of operation and development of military-industrial complex, which affect economic growth of the country. The object of this research is the military-industrial complex. The goal consists in determination of peculiarities of functionality of military-industrial complex. The author explores such aspects of the topic, as the evolution of approaches towards studying the military-industrial complex, as well as nuances of its functionality. Special attention is paid to the structure of military-industrial complex, highlighting its key components and determining interaction between them. The author’s main contribution lies in the proposed interpretation of the military-industrial complex, formulated as a result of critical analysis of relevant scientific representations on its essence, and reflecting the specifics of its functionality. The novelty consists in the analysis and systematization of scientific approaches to definition of military-industrial complex; its structural perception in form of modified scheme of O. Williamson with indication of major stakeholders and relations between them, which is based on the concept of “iron triangle”; identification of basic transformation trends of the military-industrial complex, as well as characteristics that differentiate it from other economic macro-sectors.

The paper describes the process of adapting general Polish lexicon for the purpose of creating legal texts in contemporary Polish. The aim of the article was to completethe existing descriptions of formal mechanisms observed while modifying the original vocabulary. We distinguished and described two basic transformation types: 1) changes in the possible collocations, 2) formal transformations not resulting from a semantic change or being the result of a meaning shift.Compared to the existing analyses, the paper has the advantage of having described transformations not related to meaning changes, which involve 1) replacing an elementof the original expression with a different lexical unit, 2) eliminating parts of the original expression, and 3) completing the original unit with a new lexical element, not existing in dictionaries of general Polish. The paper shows that formal and semantic modifications of general Polish lexicon are an important factor allowing for the enrichment of legal vocabulary. They may also be an obstacle, making it difficult for non-specialists to decode legal texts.

Biotechnology, being the application of biological organisms and their components in pharmaceutical and other industrial processes, has emerged as the basic transformation tool for starch hydrolysis enzyme. Several advantages over chemical catalysts under mild environmental conditions with efficiency and high specificity have been accrued to this fact. Such include ingredient substitution through continuous fermentation, increased products yield and plant capacity, processing aid substitution, more efficient processing, less undesirable products with improved products. This chapter reports on the molecular properties of thermostable enzymes such as alpha-amylases, alpha-glucosidases, glucoamylases pullulanases as relates to pharmaceutical industries; highlights various technology development, continuous solid-state fermentation, metabolic engineering, sol-gel immobilized enzyme arrays often use in enzyme industries. The new modern biotechnology leads to improvement in the effects of various physiological conditions which may allow various industrial processes to carry out lower energy consumption, harmless to the environment, high efficiency, and the product's properties enhancement.

Global pharmaceuticals industry is expected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2021 with a moderate growth of 4%-7% although it was almost 9% in the recent past (IMS, 2016). This changes in the regular growth projection is due to some basic transformation in this sector among which gradual reduction of blockbuster era, innovation crisis, requirement of high R&D investment, reduced health budget by many governments, emergence of biosimilars and traditional medicines, uneven price competition, drug approval stagnation, institutional buying, strict regulatory guidelines are important. Nevertheless, Bangladesh pharmaceuticals industry is now a promising global player with a domestic market size of $2 billion (BAPI, 2017). This sector is exporting medicines to 127 countries including USA, UK and other regulated countries with a global market capitalization of almost $ 82.11 million after meeting 98% of the local demands. The average growth in domestic and export markets are 15% and 24% respectively (The Daily Star, 2017 & BAPI, 2017). Although this industry seems to be very flourishing both in domestic and global market but it is highly dependent on other countries considering researches and technologies that would be major setbacks in the upcoming days. Therefore, this study illustrates the contemporary transforming in global pharmaceuticals industry & suggests some strategic imperatives for Bangladesh enterprises.

The conjugacy relation plays an important role in group theory. If [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are elements of a group [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] is conjugate to [Formula: see text] if [Formula: see text] for some [Formula: see text]. The group conjugacy extends to inverse semigroups in a natural way: for [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] in an inverse semigroup [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] is conjugate to [Formula: see text] if [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] for some [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we define a conjugacy for an arbitrary semigroup [Formula: see text] that reduces to the inverse semigroup conjugacy if [Formula: see text] is an inverse semigroup. (None of the existing notions of conjugacy for semigroups has this property.) We compare our new notion of conjugacy with existing definitions, characterize the conjugacy in basic transformation semigroups and their ideals using the representation of transformations as directed graphs, and determine the number of conjugacy classes in these semigroups.
