Sports in the universities of the Middle Euphrates from the point of view of the teaching staff under the Corona pandemic and the evaluation of the administrative performance of the members of the councils of the faculties of physical education and sports sciences in the universities of the Middle Euphrates from the point of view of the teaching staff during the Covid-19 pandemic, the researcher used the descriptive approach with survey methods for their relevance to the nature of the study. The research community was determined by the teachers of some faculties of physical education and sports sciences in the universities of the Middle Euphrates area for the academic year (2020-2021), and their number is (247) teachers representing (4) faculties from the universities (Babylon-Kufa-Al-Qadisiyah). The exploratory experiment included (10) teachers from the University of Kufa, and the main experiment sample included (100) teachers from the research community, with (25) teachers from each college, and the scale was applied to them for the purpose of conducting the evaluation, after choosing the measure of administrative performance, the researcher applied the measure to the sample of (100) teachers of the research sample members for the sports year 2020-2021 on 28-31/3/2021, and through the results of the research, the researcher concluded that the reality of the administrative performance of the members of the boards of directors for the faculties of physical education and sports sciences in the universities of the Middle Euphrates reflected a satisfactory perception and perception among the teachers in a clear and accurate way, which they expressed through their answers on the administrative performance scale

Geographical information system (GIS) has been used for geospatial epidemiology. Through the process, it begins with geocoding, i.e. assigning geographic coordinates to an address on a map. This process is a bridge between spatial information and its attribute data. Fortunately, some open geocoding services are available. The paper aims to examine the mapping reliability of some online geocoding services to map the spread of tuberculosis (TB) in Sarawak, Malaysia towards practical implementation in the domestic health department. The features examined the common platforms, namely QGIS, Google Map, and ArcGIS Online, were selected and explored in terms of the following variables; positional quality, speed, cost, and coverage. Based on our exploratory experiment, ArcGIS Online offers relevant mapping features for the local geocoding services of the TB locations compared to the other two platforms. But the chosen geocoding methods or services may depend on the nature of the project, cost restrictions, and the experience of an analyst. Comparison of the positional accuracy with manual reference methods (e.g GPS measurement and manual digitizing) could be further studied.

Background: Abrupt cessation of therapy with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) is often associated with a discontinuation syndrome, typified by numerous disabling symptoms including elevated anxiety, which is of unknown cause. Aim: Here, the effect of SSRI discontinuation on anxiety-like behaviour was investigated in mice. Methods: Mice were treated repeatedly with paroxetine, citalopram or saline using a 3-arm experimental design comprising saline, continued SSRI and discontinued SSRI. Mice were assessed over 5 days after SSRI discontinuation using the elevated plus maze (EPM) and other anxiety tests. Results: In an exploratory experiment mice discontinued (2 days) from paroxetine (12 days) showed evidence of increased anxiety on the EPM, although this effect was observed in male and not female mice. Follow-up studies confirmed the EPM findings in male mice discontinued (2 days) from paroxetine (12 or 28 days) or citalopram (12 days) compared to saline controls. Continued treatment with paroxetine was also anxiogenic on the EPM but this was not the case for citalopram. Paroxetine exposure for more than a week was required to elicit evidence of a discontinuation response, which did not obviously strengthen with increased frequency or duration of dose. Finally, SSRI discontinuation effects were not resolvable from continued treatment in other anxiety tests applied between 3 and 5 days post-discontinuation. Conclusion: Overall, the current study provides evidence for a short-lasting increase in anxiety-like behaviour in mice following SSRI discontinuation, and offers a means for the investigation of the neurobiological mechanisms involved.

The aim of the research was to design a test to measure the accuracy of correction and tolerance for wheelchair basketball players, in addition to measuring the correction by its accuracy and tolerance from the playing areas of wheelchair basketball players. The research sample consisted of (40) players randomly selected from the players of seven teams Wheelchair basketball clubs, The researcher conducted personal interviews, in addition to conducting an exploratory experiment for the test and then extracted the scientific foundations for it, and after extracting the results and treating them with appropriate statistical means, the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the test designed to measure the accuracy of correction and its bearing with a basketball on a wheelchair, and it takes the implementation of the test Approximately (5) minutes, taking into account giving the laboratory (5) minutes to warm up and perform some corrections before the actual implementation of the test. In addition, the test highlights the strengths and weaknesses of wheelchair basketball players in terms of their ability to shoot from distances, as well as withstand performance, and in light of these conclusions the researcher recommended several recommendations, including an emphasis on using the designed test as an aid in assessing the The correction skill of wheelchair basketball players, as well as the use of the test as a means of training players in the skill of shooting basketball on wheelchairs, as well as applying this test to other samples of basketball players and players taking into account the common type of correction for such samples.

Vision-based interfaces are used for monitoring human motion. In particular, camera-based head-trackers interpret the movement of the user’s head for interacting with devices. Neck pain is one of the most important musculoskeletal conditions in prevalence and years lived with disability. A common treatment is therapeutic exercise, which requires high motivation and adherence to treatment. In this work, we conduct an exploratory experiment to validate the use of a non-invasive camera-based head-tracker monitoring neck movements. We do it by means of an exergame for performing the rehabilitation exercises using a mobile device. The experiments performed in order to explore its feasibility were: (1) validate neck’s range of motion (ROM) that the camera-based head-tracker was able to detect; (2) ensure safety application in terms of neck ROM solicitation by the mobile application. Results not only confirmed safety, in terms of ROM requirements for different preset patient profiles, according with the safety parameters previously established, but also determined the effectiveness of the camera-based head-tracker to monitor the neck movements for rehabilitation purposes.

The process of understanding the minds of other people, such as their emotions and intentions, is mimicked when individuals try to understand an artificial mind. The assumption is that anthropomorphism, attributing human-like characteristics to non-human agents and objects, is an analogue to Theory-of-Mind, the ability to infer mental states of other people. Here, we test to what extent these two constructs formally overlap. Specifically, using a multi-method approach, we test if and how anthropomorphism is related to Theory-of-Mind using brain (Experiment 1) and behavioural (Experiment 2) measures. In a first exploratory experiment, we examine the relationship between dispositional anthropomorphism and activity within the Theory-of-Mind brain network (n = 108). Results from a Bayesian regression analysis showed no consistent relationship between dispositional anthropomorphism and activity in regions of the Theory-of-Mind network. In a follow-up, pre-registered experiment, we explored the relationship between Theory-of-Mind and situational and dispositional anthropomorphism in more depth. Participants (n = 311) watched a short movie while simultaneously completing situational anthropomorphism and Theory-of-Mind ratings, as well as measures of dispositional anthropomorphism and general Theory-of-Mind. Only situational anthropomorphism predicted the ability to understand and predict the behaviour of the film’s characters. No relationship between situational or dispositional anthropomorphism and general Theory-of-Mind was observed. Together, these results suggest that while anthropomorphism and Theory-of-Mind might share some overlap in certain situations, they are separate and possibly unrelated at the personality level. These findings point to a possible dissociation between brain and behavioural measures when considering the relationship between Theory-of-Mind and anthropomorphism.
