Current literature supports the notion that the recognition of objects, when visually presented, is sub-served by neural structures different from those responsible for the semantic processing of their nouns. However, embodiment foresees that processing observed objects and their verbal labels should share similar neural mechanisms. In a combined behavioral and MEG study, we compared the modulation of motor responses and cortical rhythms during the processing of graspable natural objects and tools, either verbally or pictorially presented. Our findings demonstrate that conveying meaning to an observed object or processing its noun similarly modulates both motor responses and cortical rhythms; being natural graspable objects and tools differently represented in the brain, they affect in a different manner both behavioral and MEG findings, independent of presentation modality. These results provide experimental evidence that neural substrates responsible for conveying meaning to objects overlap with those where the object is represented, thus supporting an embodied view of semantic processing.

The inward or inner agony, pressure and any other issues of women life are reflected in a peculiar way through the Nature or its natural objects of as we can clearly point out in the novels of Anita Desai. The female protagonists of the novels of Anita Desai could not express their inner feelings before their male partners or anybody as they express themselves properly and smoothly through Nature and its different Natural objects. In other words, we can say that life of the women protagonists in the novels of Anita Desai and Nature are closely connected with each other. As Nature and women both have the power of nurturing and sustenance, which means both of them carry maximum similar feminine qualities. So to maintain peace and equality in the society, we should have to understand the inward feelings of both women and Nature.

The concept of leadership is found in many Javanese old texts, such as Serat Asthabrata, Serat Wulangreh, and Serat Tripama. Among these old texts, the concept of leadership written in Asthabrata is regarded as the most popular one in the life of Javanese or Indonesian people. It is because the development of the leadership concept in Asthabrata was unique and interesting. Asthabrata’s teachings were born in the Hinduism era and derived from Serat Ramayana. Following the Javanese society’s belief that changed from Hinduism to Islam, the leadership concept of Asthabrata shifted. The Hinduism concept symbolized in Hindu Gods’ roles turned symbolically into natural objects. It occurred because Islamic beliefs did not adhere to Hindu Gods; therefore, the concept was realized symbolically in natural objects, such as the sun, earth, moon, fire, ocean, star, wind, and cloud. One of the intriguing things to understand is that any of those objects provide no leadership. However, leadership is comprehensive - an ideal leader is the one who meets the characteristics of those objects, known as woluning atunggal (eight as unity). This article aims to describe the characteristics of comprehensive leadership in Asthabrata teachings as a reference to develop the ideal leadership concept in Indonesia.

Abstract The article is devoted to the problems of creating comfortable living conditions for the inhabitants of rural and urban settlements. Architectural bionics is a branch of architecture in which great attention is paid to the study of the form and organization of natural objects and the design of building structures in a bionic style for residents of both rural and urban settlements. Currently, it is necessary to change the urban environment, taking into account all aspects of harmonious development and taking into account the natural features of the region. Many architects around the world are working in this direction. The use of modern materials makes it possible to create structures that are unique in shape and structure. Optimality in creating a comfortable human environment, taking into account the minimum impact on nature, is the task of designing structures.

When Christopher Stone argued for the extension of legal standing to natural objects, he proposed a guardianship model for representing the rights or interests of nonhuman nature. This approach requires that natural objects or systems be able to intelligibly communicate information regarding needs associated with their continued sustainable flourishing. Drawing upon both ‘law beyond the human’ approaches to legal theory and New Materialist theories about nonhuman subjectivity, we conceive of this mode of communication as a political speech act, albeit one that must be interpreted through eco-feedback collected in the study of natural systems rather than directly transmitted from speaker to listener. We then apply this conception of communication to human rights contexts in which efforts to distort or to otherwise manipulate this eco-feedback could be construed as an anti-democratic interference in speech rights, arguing for the extension of such rights to protect against such interference.
