Ad exchanges where real-time auctions for display ad impressions take place historically emphasized user targeting, and advertisers sometimes did not know which sites their ads would appear on, i.e., the ad context. More recently, some ad exchanges have been encouraging publishers to provide context information to ad buyers, allowing them to adjust their bids for ads at specific sites. This paper explores the empirical effect of a change in context information provided by a private European ad exchange. Analyzing this as a quasi-experiment using difference-in-differences, the authors find that average revenue per impression rose when the exchange provided subdomain information to ad buyers. Thus, ad context information is important to ad buyers, and they will act on it. Revenue per impression rises for nearly all sites, which is what is predicted by auction theory when rational buyers with heterogeneous preferences are given more information. The exception to this are sites with thin markets prior to the policy change; consistent with theory, these sites do not show a rise in prices. This paper adds evidence that ad exchanges with reputable publishers, particularly smaller volume, highquality sites, should provide ad buyers with context information, which can be done at almost no cost.

Abstract Wonogiri Regency has a topography of different areas; some areas are flat, wavy, steep, and very steep, making the condition of natural resources various. The livelihoods of most of the people who live around the Keduang Subwatershed are farmers, who cultivate agriculture in wetland, dry fields/gardens, and dry land. This study aimed to determine the income and feasibility of lowland rice farming in the Keduang subwatershed Wonogiri. The location and respondents’ determination method used in this research was purposive sampling. The number of respondent farmers taken in this study was 90 respondents from 3 districts in the Keduang subwatershed, Sidoharjo, Jatisrono, and Jatipurno districts. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and recording. The total cost of farming is IDR 20,773,581/Ha/Year with the average variable cost of IDR 19,807,381/Ha/year and the average fixed cost of IDR 966,200/Ha/year. The average revenue is IDR 29,464,858/Ha/year, and the average income is IDR 8,691,277/Ha/year. R/C ratio of 1.42 indicates that lowland rice farming is profitable and feasible to develop.

Fifth-generation (5G) mobile services entail network densification, having Massive MIMO air interfaces operating at millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequencies. Techno-economic analysis for such a complex heterogeneous network (HetNet) is challenging due to uncertain future demand and technical hurdles for ensuring seamless nationwide coverage and capacity. We show in this work how a Logistic diffusion model may be used to forecast 5G adoption in a country and then utilize those forecasts to perform a techno-economic assessment of 5G deployment. The complete analysis is showcased for a European nation, namely France, for the period 2020-2030. We find that, theoretically, both the Capex and the total cost of ownership (TCO) for the considered 5G HetNets is cheaper (1/7th) than that for 4G LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) networks, also translating into higher returns. The sensitivity analysis predicts the Average Revenue from Users (ARPU), spectrum acquisition costs, and spectrum bandwidth as the most influential variables for profitability.

Second, farmers sell their produce to collectors, who subsequently distribute it to intercity merchants. The average revenue earned by seaweed growers. That is 6 USD –830 USD in a single manufacturing process, indicating that seaweed farming is lucrative and possible to expand, but that production expenses must be more efficiently used to achieve larger profits
