Wheelchairs are mobility devices that are often used by people who have difficulty walking on their feet, due to illness, injury, or disability. Most of the wheelchairs that exist today are still using the manual system. Ideally, a wheelchair is needed so that users feel free and comfortable in adjusting the wheelchair movement according to their wishes. This study aims to make an innovation in the form of designing an electric wheelchair based on the internet of things (IoT). In this tool, there are several integrated electronic components such as NodeMCU, voltage sensor that is connected to the android smartphone application. Delphi XE8 software functions to create control applications that can be controlled via a smartphone. The control system on a smartphone uses an internet connection to process the wheelchair control system. This tool is very dependent on the connection and stability of the internet network. Design of electric wheelchair based IoT, has the performance that a wheelchair can carry a maximum load of 30kg at a speed of 0.79m / second, plus an accumulator / battery load and a 6.4kg DC motor, so that the total load can be under of 36.4kg.

The article proposes a matching device between an accumulator battery and a voltage inverter in electric energy storage systems based on a reversible DC-DC converter with improved weight, size and cost indicators. Lithium-ion batteries are subject to tough operational requirements. The discharge of such batteries is not recommended to exceed their three-fold capacity (C), while the charge is limited to 0.5C, and low-frequency ripple components should not be present in the charging current. These requirements can be fulfilled with the help of the proposed matching device which is characterized by smaller dimensions and cost achieved due to the choke unit. The article proposes the calculation of the converter circuit and presents the simulation results obtained in the Psim simulation environment (the PowerSim environment). An economic assessment of the converter has been carried out.

Tendencies of sustainable development of transport, the use of alternative energy sources, and requirements to the reduction of the carbon footprint on all stages of life cycle on all levels of road transport have led to the increase of the share of the electric car both at the first registration and used vehicles. The appearance of a large amount of used modern electric cars on the market caused the necessity to develop the procedures of provision their technical operation both by requirements of rational use and provision of traffic safety. Research of the use of electric car Tesla Model S90D in conditions of Ukraine is carried out with certain indicators of environment and with different settings of car parameters. This provides an opportunity to understand how much the given model of the electric car is appropriate in exploitation in different conditions and also to determine which parameters of electric car settings fit the economic usage in different conditions and different seasons most of all. By results of road research on the change of accumulator battery capacity depending on the temperature of the environment, we established that the capacity reduces by 1% with every degree of negative temperature. A comfortable range of temperatures is determined for the use of accumulator battery of car (from 0 to 20 °С) is determined. By results of the research, the indicators of the effectiveness of the use of electric car battery power saving mode are determined – the reduction of the consumption is from 14 to 29 % depending on energy consumers. The significant impact of the pressure values in electric car tires on the energy consumption is established independently from turning on the energy consumers – the increase is from 10% to 40% depending on its speed of movement. Additionally, the determination of the indicators of electric car energy effectiveness for the speed of 140-150 km/h is carried out by which the energy use is 550-670 W h/km and provides the driving distance on the level of 160 km.

The paper deals with the determination and compensation of non-active torques of parallel HEV using an auxiliary electrical PMSM or IM motor. The non-active oscillating torque generating by the ICE engine was estimated, and consequently, the compensating torque component of the current was determined. Based on real measured data, the four regimes of operation have been investigated: compensating non-active torques, parallel operation, regenerating for PMSM, and both parallel operations, together with compensation. Using of p-q theory, the power of fundamental harmonic is presented by average values PAV, QAV of total power waveforms p(t), and q(t). Worked-out simulation results are used for sizing and dimensioning of PMSM machine, VSI inverter, and traction accumulator-battery. Circuit simulator Matlab/Simulink was used for all simulation experiments.

Despite the variety of modern means of communication, radio relay lines of information are not lost due to the possibility of their creation in hard-to-reach mountain regions and in conditions of dense development of large cities. One-way radio relay lines have been widely used to transmit information between the central office and branches of the enterprise in corporate networks, between base stations and switching center in mobile communication networks, between military structures for operational management, in emergency situations. When creating radio relay links, the basic tasks are to use the minimum possible transmitter power sufficient to ensure the required quality of information transmission. At the same time minimum influence of electromagnetic radiation on health of people in the area of station operation, better electromagnetic compatibility of equipment with equipment of neighboring regions, duration of station operation at power supply from accumulator battery are achieved. In this paper are reviewed the methods to improve the energy, noise immunity and confidential microwave link using the 4-way signal of PM-4. The advantages of microwave links with noise-like signals generated using pseudorandom sequences based on chaos are shown here.

Operational control of parameters of electrolytes (first of all–of specific electric conductivity), is an important electrochemical technology. The methods of measurement of electric conductivity of electrolytes is a subject of permanent discussions because of complexity of physical-and-chemical processes accompanying ion transport and of electrolyte polarization near surfaces of electrodes and of electrochemical processes on the electrodes surfaces. Actual highand low-frequency conductometric methods require relatively expensive equipment and are not free of methodological flaws. In this paper a new method of electric resistance of liquid electrolytes is described and substantiated. It is based on automatic performance of a series of measurements of electrolyte resistance at DC, data processing and extrapolation of an appropriate dependence to threshold voltage at measurement cell plates. The character of functions approximating resistance-applied voltage dependence and method of resistance determination are substantiated. The measurements of specific resistance of some electrolytes were performed. The advantages of the proposed method and measuring device are their simplicity, cheapness, reliability and, consequently, wider possibility to utilize it at technological lines and processes, even at such sites of production processes where such a control was impractical earlier. The method can be widely used for express-diagnostics of electrolytes in such areas as electrochemical energy storage, medicine, agriculture, chemical industry, food production.

Solar power plants (PLTS) as power plants that use solar rays to generate electrical energy have a big role in reducing the burden of reducing CO2 emissions. Electrical energy generated by solar panels in the form of direct current (DC / direct current) low voltage. This electrical energy will be collected and stored in a battery (accumulator / battery) through a battery charging controller or so-called solar charge controller that serves as a controller charging process so that the voltage and current are filled to the battery does not exceed the ability batteries or overcharge. This research will make the model of charging the batteries in the Solar Charger Controler by using Mamdani's fuzzy inference logic which is used to adjust the direct current that is charged to the battery and transmitted to the load on the PLTS system. This simulation is expected to be applied to a device that acts as a set of excess filling that is streamed from the solar panel to a fuzzy-based battery. Solar Charger based Fuzzy logic controller can be applied to automatically stop the activity if the voltage in the battery by adjusting the charging function and exemption of current from battery to load.
