The world was shocked by a disaster in the form of a very dangerous virus, namely the corona virus or called Covid-19 which requires humans to be able to adapt to this Covid-19 pandemic situation, including in the field of education. At the higher educational level, the learning system changes from face-to-face learning to online learning. This article discusses how students adapt in relation to various policies, the impact of online learning, and students’ strategies in maintaining body immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using a qualitative approach, this research was conducted in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi Province. Data was collected using in-depth interview and observation. Those who participated in this study were 20 students, consisting of 15 males and five females, whose age ranging between 19 and 22 years. They come from various public and private campuses in the city of Makassar. The results of the study show that during the Covid-19 pandemic, students experienced many changes. Students themselves adapted to various emerging policies related to Covid-19, which include not only government and lecturing policies, but also internal student organization policies. For students, online lectures have impacted not only on the learning process, but also on student health. Various strategies were carried out by students in an effort to maintain body immunity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic policy, namely complying with health protocols; implementing a healthy lifestyle; managing stress; and taking supplements. It is argued in this articles that in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, students adapt to the conditions that occur during the Covid-19 pendemic and apply related strategie. Lecturers also need to create a friendly environment and creative method of teaching, so that students can enjoy online learning on that limited screen.

ABSTRACTThis article analyzes a 1969 education reform in Mexico that resulted in the closure of 14 of the then 29 escuelas normales rurales (rural teacher-training colleges) and the annihilation of their internal student organizing structures. I argue that the reform was politically motivated and impelled by the anxieties produced by student politics in the Cold War era. I show also how the Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) participated in the authoritarian surveillance of students during the presidency of Díaz Ordaz and in a long campaign to delegitimize the Federación de Estudiantes Campesinos Socialistas de México (FECSM), the federation that united the students from these schools.

The aim of national education is to educate the life of the nation and develop Indonesian people as a whole, namely people who believe in and fear God Almighty, virtuous character, have knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, a steady and independent personality, and social responsibility, and social responsibility and nationality. To improve morale and form students of noble character, SDN 2 Tamanbali implements the internalization of the value of Hindu religious education. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The factors that cause the internalization of Hindu religious education values in forming students with noble character in SD Negeri 2 Tamanbali are in the form of internal (student) and external factors (family, school, and community). (2) The process of internalizing the value of Hindu religious education in forming students of noble character in SD Negeri 2 Tamanbali through the process of learning, habituation, example, school culture development, and extracurricular activities. (3) Implications of internalizing the value of Hindu religious education to students of Tamanbali 2 Elementary School, namely the formation of religious student characters (sraddha and bhakti), discipline (yoga sadhana), courtesy and hospitality (samiksantam), honest (satya), and caring.

Investigating rankings in the field of business education, we aim to examine field structuration process to understand how categories build symbolic value in an institutional field. We selected twenty reputed business schools from Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) through purposive sampling method. Adopting the concept of data triangulation, we gathered empirical evidences through interviews with business school marketing managers, academic experts in the field of marketing and reputation, and with industry experts. This data was further supplemented by variety of secondary sources such as internal student surveys, annual reports, newsletters and industry reports to perform a thematic analysis adopted in this study. Thematic analysis helped us to develop a model of institutional work and field level change by emphasizing on the key role categorization systems (rankings) in shaping perceptions of symbolic value (reputation). Our findings suggest, categorization tools create a contest at different levels. Consequently, it redefines the perception about value in the field. The current study may be useful for academia and Higher Education policy-makers by providing them with a theoretical understanding of categorization systems such as university rankings and the changing perception of value in the field.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present a case study to discuss approaches taken within a traditional undergraduate degree course to embed employability skills, encourage student uptake of sandwich placement and increase graduate prospects. A number of new initiatives are presented, including working with live industrial clients, formally preparing students for placement applications and the introduction of an externally facing student run design consortium. Alongside these new initiatives, details of the existing sandwich year provision are also considered and their effectiveness. Design/methodology/approach A case study-based action research approach presents changes to a specific undergraduate course, measuring the effectiveness over a four-year period using externally collected national Destination of Leavers in Higher Education (DLHE) data and internal student feedback to assess the long-term effects on employability. Findings The paper considers improvements in the graduate employability over the four year period covered, in particular, an increase in the graduate employability from 81 to 100 per cent and graduate prospects from 62.5 to 95.2 per cent for sandwich students. Data presented also considers additional student feedback correlating with an increase in their preparedness for employment. Practical implications The implications of undertaking the changes highlighted within this paper have been relatively straightforward, due to the small incremental nature of the changes and the opportunities available through the agencies within the university, and should be replicable at least in part at other HE institutions. Originality/value This paper considers the impact of employability initiatives undertaken on a single undergraduate course and how these have affected the employability of graduates over a four-year period, supported by student feedback both internally and externally through national feedback mechanisms. It is anticipated that this research would be beneficial for informing and guiding the development of employability on other undergraduate programmes.

This research implies the concept of behavioral approach in dealing with in disciplinary behavior in students of divorce victims. Behavior itself is one of the guidance in guidance and counseling to overcome maladaptive behavior toward adaptive. Behavioral approach is the right approach to handle undisciplined students in school. So that students are able to perform their duties well in school, without experiencing obstacles. This undisciplined behavior is influenced by one of the factors of internal student problems, which tend to be from a student's background due to a divorce. The research method using qualitative descriptive approach by emphasizing on direct plunge. Furthermore, if the assessment has been done, then the planning can be implemented to the counseling process. Started contract counseling, relaxation, modeling, reward and punishment until the follow-up phase.

I propose a coherent framework for the use of Inverse Bayesian estimation to summarize and make predictions of student behavior in adaptive educational settings. The Inverse Bayes Filter utilizes Bayes theorem to estimate the relative impact of contextual factors and internal student factors on student performance using time series data across a range of possible dimensions. The Inverse Bayesian algorithm treats the student as a Bayesian learner; her partial credit score or confidence is proportional to her prior knowledge and how she interprets her environment. Once the algorithm has weighted internal and external factors this information is used to make a prediction about the student’s next attempt.
