Is a big data analytical approach viable using archaeological artefact and ecofact data? In particular is it possible to use Bowker and Star's (1999) concept of the 'boundary object' to manage the issues caused by data scale, complexity, diversity and variable information standards when attempting to carry out this kind of research? This paper reviews the theoretical and methodological debates around archaeological big data as they impact upon research into assemblages of artefacts and ecofacts and presents a methodology for the construction and use of a large archaeological database of legacy artefact and ecofact data created as part of the English Landscapes and Identities Project at the University of Oxford.

ObjectivesTo explore stakeholders’ and national organisational perspectives on companionship for women/birthing people using antenatal and intrapartum care in England during COVID-19, as part of the Achieving Safe and Personalised maternity care In Response to Epidemics (ASPIRE) COVID-19 UK study.SettingMaternity care provision in England.ParticipantsInterviews were held with 26 national governmental, professional and service-user organisation leads (July–December 2020). Other data included public-facing outputs logged from 25 maternity Trusts (September/October 2020) and data extracted from 78 documents from eight key governmental, professional and service-user organisations that informed national maternity care guidance and policy (February–December 2020).ResultsSix themes emerged: ‘Postcode lottery of care’ highlights variations in companionship and visiting practices between trusts/locations, ‘Confusion and stress around ‘rules’’ relates to a lack of and variable information concerning companionship/visiting, ‘Unintended consequences’ concerns the negative impacts of restricted companionship or visiting on women/birthing people and staff, ‘Need for flexibility’ highlights concerns about applying companionship and visiting policies irrespective of need, ‘‘Acceptable’ time for support’ highlights variations in when and if companionship was ‘allowed’ antenatally and intrapartum and ‘Loss of human rights for gain in infection control’ emphasises how a predominant focus on infection control was at a cost to psychological safety and human rights.ConclusionsPolicies concerning companionship and visiting have been inconsistently applied within English maternity services during the COVID-19 pandemic. In some cases, policies were not justified by the level of risk, and were applied indiscriminately regardless of need. There is an urgent need to determine how to sensitively and flexibly balance risks and benefits and optimise outcomes during the current and future crisis situations.

Greywater reuse furthermore, reusing can be an incredible method to get non-consumable water. Since it contains broke down pollutions, greywater can’t be utilized straightforwardly. As an outcome, it is critical to decide the nature of water prior to utilizing it. Body estimations require five days to finish, while COD estimations require only a couple of hours. Not exclusively improve models for evaluating water quality are required; however, a more coordinated methodology is additionally getting more normal. Most of these models require a wide scope of information that isn’t in every case promptly available, making it a costly and tedious activity. Because of different issues in the enlistment with estimation included in water quality boundaries like BOD as well as COD, the principal objective of this investigation is to track down the best multivariate direct relapse models for foreseeing complex water quality outcomes. The code was written in Python for multi-variable information sources, and a Linear Regression Model was created. The projected COD versus estimated COD chart shows that the noticed and expected qualities are practically the same. The R-squared worth was 0.9973. A plot of extended BOD as an element of COD is likewise remembered for the outcome.

This study was intended to investigate the online behavior of Taiwan’s Net Generation (born between 1977 and 1997) based on Dentsu’s AISAS (Attention-Interest-Search-Action-Share) model. A conceptual framework and several hypotheses were developed and tested. A questionnaire survey was conducted in Taiwan in 2018 with 338 valid responses being received. The data were analyzed through linear regression analysis with learning and growth set as the dependent variable. Information search was the key action variable and especially during travel. Attention and interest had significant indirect influences on actions, which impacted sharing, learning, and growth. Learning and growth and action increased sharing. Post-travel sharing stimulated attention and was a catalyst for another cycle of AISAS. This research intended to fill a gap in the literature by examining the relationships among stages in the online purchase and consumption of travel products and services.

It is very difficult to select the right supplier from supply base for the global supply chain due to many challenges and problems especially for the developing countries such as Pakistan. In the present study primary data is collected via adopted questionnaire from cases of the total 170 cases from Kotri manufacturing companies of Sindh, Pakistan. For the analysis of gathered data many tests were applied such as reliability test, factor analysis and structural equation modelling in SPSS and AMOS software. Findings, revealed the partial mediation for both quality and delivery variables in the presence of mediating variable information flow. However, the quality confirmed the more important variable for the supplier selection in manufacturing companies of Kotri, Sindh, Pakistan due to higher beta value than delivery variable. In the past research scholars explored the direct relationship between quality and delivery for the supplier selection but, in the present mediating variable information flow is introduced in order to verify the strength of studied variables. Lastly, based our limited knowledge this would be the first study conducted on Kotri manufacturing companies of Sindh, Pakistan.

PurposeThe need of acute transition from an intensive care setting to an end-of-life setting requires collaboration and experience. Variable information exists on palliative sedation in traditional palliative care settings, including home care, hospices or palliative care units.MaterialsFour cases which required a rapid decision-making to alleviate suffering in patients close to death are described.ResultsDespite having different clinical pathways leading to intensive but medically non-beneficial treatments, patients were converted to a rapid transition of care in the unit where they had been admitted, due to different logistic reasons. An appropriate discussion with relatives about the short prognosis and the need to sedate for controlling suffering in the last hours of life was fundamental in preventing further suffering with intensive treatments.ConclusionsThese clinical notes suggest that palliative care and end-of-life measures should be also expanded in other settings, where palliative care issues are traditionally not properly assessed, implementing the collaboration with other colleagues with different clinical extractions.
