Learning theory will make easier for educators to carry out the form of learning that will be implemented. This article will review the theory of cognitive learning and will provide a complete understanding and explanation so that it can be applied in learning activities. This study uses a qualitative approach and includes library research. The author tries and strives to collect library data related to the cognitive theory of J. Bruner, Ausubel, and Robert M. Gagne and their actualization in Islamic Education learning enriched from several academic sources both from books, scientific articles, previous studies and other scientific writings that related to the topic of this article. The results of this study are the cognitive theory developed by J. Bruner states cognitive processes are enactive, iconic, and symbolic; Ausubel said cognitive processes occur. Advanced organizer (initial arrangement), progressive differentiation, Reconciliation reconciliation (integrative reconciliation), consolidation; Robert M. Gagne states that cognitive processes are through receptors, sensory registers, short-term memory, long-term memory, and response generators. The learning process according to cognitivism is through the stages of assimilation, accommodation, and equilibration, namely the learning process is more directed. This is adjusted to the age of the students, so the stages are enactive, econic, and symbolic.

 This research aimed to describe the scientific attitudes of students towards learning physics on energy and work materials by applying the advanced organizer learning model. This research is pre-experimental research with the design of one group pretest-posttest design, which describes an increase in scientific attitudes through the application of the advance organizer learning model for Class X SMA 2 Mempura, Siak Regency in the 2018/2019 academic year. The aspects of the scientific attitude in this research include curiosity, critical thinking, open thinking, and honest attitude. The data collection technique used a questionnaire given to the research subject. Initial scientific attitude data was taken by distributing questionnaires to research subjects before treatment, while the final scientific attitude was taken by distributing questionnaires after treatment. The filling out of the questionnaire is done individually in the class, where students are not allowed to ask questions or pay attention to other friends regarding the answers to the questionnaire. The results showed that the students' initial scientific attitude was in the low category of 2.41, while the final scientific attitude had increased by 1.11 points with an average score of 3.52 which was categorized as high. Based on the results of the N-Gain score, students' scientific attitudes on each indicator had a score with an average N-Gain value of 0.70 which was categorized as high. The results of this research concluded that the application of the advanced organizer learning model in learning work and energy materials could improve the scientific attitudes of class X students SMA 2 Mempura.

The objective of the research is to know the instructional analysis in teaching speaking skill. This study participated by one of the Eleventh grader English teachers in SMAN 8 OKU. Data from this descriptive study were gathered by observation. The observational result showed that the English teacher of SMA N 8 OKU used certain types of classroom instruction in the teaching speaking. There were five types of classroom instruction: setting objectives and providing feedback, cues, question and advanced organizer, homework and practice, reinforcing effort and providing recognition, and generating and testing hypotheses

ABSTRAKAnak Usia Sekolah Dasar (usia 6-13 tahun) memerlukan sebuah metode yang tepat dalam pembelajaran khususnya di bidang music (vocal).  Pada usia tersebut, kondisi psikologis dan kognitif yang baik perlu diciptakan guna mencapai proses dan hasil pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran vocal di Purwa Caraka Musik Studio (PCMS) Semarang. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah qualitative research dengan tahapan: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa pembelajaran vocal di PCMS sangat relevan dengan metode Reception Learning. Pembelajaran tersebut dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu: 1). advanced organizer, yang berupa kegiatan pengkondisian psikologis dan kognitif siswa; 2). Pemberian tugas belajar yang bertujuan untuk pendalaman teknik vocal; dan 3). Evaluasi tahapan sebelumnya dengan maksud mengetahui capaian hasil belajar siswa.

Joint pain in the elderly is becoming ever more ubiquitous in the primary care setting. Primary care providers, especially in rural communities, may be required to manage patients with rheumatologic conditions because consultation is unavailable. Literature supporting the approach to the diagnosis of joint pain in the elderly population is limited. The purpose of this manuscript is to present a case-based learning opportunity for osteopathic primary care providers, residents, and medical students regarding an elderly male with joint pain. In this manuscript, the authors have presented an advanced organizer to be used in the medical education setting which differentiates patients suffering from joint pain based on timing, the number of joints involved, and the size of the joint affected. We conclude with osteopathic considerations in evaluating an elderly patient with joint pain and the tools available to appropriately evaluate and treat the patient.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence on the advanced organizer learning model using adobe flash assisted learning media to improve understanding of mathematical concepts. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The variables in this study consisted of two types, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. In this study the advance organizer learning model assisted by Adobe Flash becomes the independent variable and the understanding of mathematical concepts becomes the dependent variable. The population of this study was students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The sample in this study was divided into 3 classes, namely classes VIII-J and VIII-I (experimental class) and class VIII-E (control class). The instrument used was a test, then the data analysis for hypothesis testing using ANOVA. Based on the results and analysis of the data that there is an influence of the use of advance organizer learning models using adobe flash assisted learning media on the ability of understanding students' mathematical concepts. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah guna mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran advance organizer menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan adobe flash untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis. Penelitian ini ialah suatu penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian inimemiliki dua macam variabel yakni bebas dan variabel terikat. Pada penelitian ini model pembelajaran advance organizer berbantuan adobe flash menjadi variabel bebas dan pemahaman konsep matematis menjadi variabel terikat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-J dan VIII-I (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII-E (kelas kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes, selanjutnya analisis data untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan ANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran advance organizer menggunakan media pembelajaran berbantuan adobe flash terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik.

This research aims to determine the effect of the Advance Organizer learning model towards understanding the assisted mathematical concepts of didactic design modules in straight line equations of grade VIII SMP. The type of this research is a quasi-experimental design with "respondent's pretest-posttest control design," the population in this research were all eighth-grade students of SMP N 7 Kotabumi. The sampling technique used random classes where VIII H as experimental class I, class VIII A as experimental class II, and class VIII E as the control class. The test instrument used was a description test. Based on the results of data processing using the ANAVA test, N-Gain data was obtained, , it means  was rejected. It means that there was an influence of the Advanced Organizer learning model assisted with didactic design modules to increase understanding of mathematical concepts of students. The test continued with the Scheffe' analysis with acceptance , as well as denials  and. Based on the results of the trial, it concluded that the Advanced Organizer learning model with didactic design modules is better than conventional learning models. However, the Advance Organizer learning model with instructional design modules is as good as the Advanced Organizer learning model.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Advance Organizer terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis berbantuan modul desain didaktis persamaan garis lurus SMP kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen semu dengan desain “pretest-posttest control design responden”, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kotabumi, acak kelas merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel dimana VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen I, kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen II, dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen tes menggunakan tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan uji Anava data N-Gain diperoleh, berarti H0 ditolak artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Advance Organizer berbantuan modul desain didaktis terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Pengujian dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe’ dengan penerimaan serta penolakan  dan . Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran Advance Organizer berbatuan modul desain didaktis lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, namun model pembelajaran Advance Organizer berbantuan modul desain didaktis sama baiknya dengan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is 1) To find out whether there is a significant effect with the Advanced Organizer learning model 2) To improve the cognitive abilities of students on the subject of dynamic fluid Vocational High School. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with the hypothesis that there is no significant influence on the cognitive abilities of students who are taught using advance organizer learning models so that the cognitive abilities of students are increased. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence on the cognitive abilities of students who are taught using an advanced organizer model so that the cognitive abilities of students increase. This can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest in the experimental class has increased. Significant influence can be proven by the test results from the t-test analysis, where in the t-test analysis the value of t-count> t-table or significant value <significant level (0.05) is equal to 21,921> 2,045. While the increase in cognitive abilities of experimental class students can be seen from the results of the mean mean value of students at the pretest that is 40.16, an increase after the posttest results of the mean mean becomes 81.94. This means that there is a very good increase in the cognitive abilities of students due to the influence of the Advanced Organizer of Dynamic Fluid SMK models.Abstrak: Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan model pembelajaran Advance Organizer 2) Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada pokok bahasan fluida dinamis  SMK. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan hipotesis ada atau tidak pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran advance organizer sehingga kemampuan kognitif peserta didik lebih meningkat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model advance  organizer sehingga kemampuan kognitif peserta didik meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan. Pengaruh signifikan dapat terbukti dengan adanya hasil pengujian dari analisis Uji-t ,dimana pada analisis Uji-t  nilai > atau nilai signifikan < taraf signifikan (0.05) yaitu sebesar 21.921 >  2.045. Sedangkan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas eksperimen dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata nilai mean peserta didik pada pretest yaitu 40.16, terjadi peningkatan setelah posttest hasil rata-rata nilai mean menjadi 81.94. Artinya terjadi peningkatan yang sangat baik pada kemampuan kognitif peserta didik akibat pengaruh dari model Advance Organizer pokok bahasan Fluida Dinamis SMK.
