Mechanical properties of Hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, HA, still need to be modified to improve its function as dental filler or bone implant. HA is usually substituted with other metals to increase its mechanical strength. In this study, HA from chicken eggshells was substituted with La with a concentration variation of 1-3 wt % with a solid chemical reaction at a temperature of 1100 °C for 2 hours. The structure, morphology and mechanical strength of HA/La were characterized by XRD, SEM and Vicker Hardness, respectively. All HA samples adopt the P 63/m space group. Likewise, the IR spectra are similar to each other, which shows the formation of the HA structure, indicated by the presence of the -OH and PO43- groups. HA/La with the highest hardness value of 1.85 GPa is obtained from the 3 wt % La doping. The higher the La content added, the higher the hardness of the hydroxyapatite. The doping of 3% La increased the hardness of HA 17%.

In this study, sodium aminodiborane (NaNH2(BH3)2) synthesis was carried out in a constant volume batch reactor with a single feed at various temperatures and inlet molar ratios. It was synthesized, ammonia borane and sodium hydride as precursors, by a wet chemical reaction method using tetrahydrofuran which is a solvent under atmospheric pressure. These experiments were carried out at varied temperature ranges from 0 °C to 24 °C, and varied inlet molar ratios (AB/NaH) from 0.75 to 1.25. Sodium amidoborane is synthesized when the experiment is carried out in a stoichiometric ratio, but sodium aminodiborane is synthesized when the mole of ammonia borane is higher than the mole of sodium hydride. In order to characterize the products, FTIR, XRD, GC-MS/MS, and quantitative analysis techniques were utilized. In addition, sodium aminodiborane’s synthesis reaction kinetic was determined. r apparent = 0.8594 e ^ (- 4366 / RT) C AB ^ (0.8) C NaH ^ (0.2). The apparent activation energy, Ea, and frequency constant, k0, were calculated about 4366 J/mol and 0.8594 h-1, respectively

Zinc Oxide and Glucose capped Zinc Oxide nanoparticles have been prepared using modified chemical reaction method. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the prepared samples possess polycrystalline nature with hexagonal structure. Surface morphology has been analyzed using scanning electron microscopy. The estimated value of band gap was found to be 3.41 and 3.87 eV for Zinc Oxide and Glucose capped ZnO respectively. Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopic analysis has been carried out to find the chemical bond and elemental composition present in Zinc Oxide and Glucose capped Zinc Oxide.

Working with acylaminocarboxylate ligands, we used ethanol and water as a solvent, and the europium complexes were prepared using a chemical reaction method in solution. The elements were analyzed and characterized by polarizing microscope and XRD, respectively. The surfaces of complexes in the solid state were observed by polarizing microscope morphology. XRD diffraction data confirms the periodic long range order/disorder structure of these europium complexes. We also found that diversified material was easily formed by the rare earth complexes. Using the above tests, the structural information of the Eu complexes in the glassy state, liquid crystal glassy state and crystalline states was obtained
