In this search, the wool fabric was dyed with a natural dye Calligonum comosum (Callig. Co. dye); the dyeing process was applied under different conditions by changing dye bath temperature, time of dyeing, and pH of dye bath also using different mordants. Ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) was determined for each dyed wool sample. The role of these dying conditions on the via color strength analysis their effects on the reflectance spectra were investigated using the spectro-photometer tool, CIE tristimulus values, and the color parameters. The dye-ability strength and fastness to washing and perspiration properties of these wool samples dyed with (Callig. Co. dye) were carried out spectrophotometrically and evaluated the antimicrobial activity for blank and dyed wool fabrics via gram-positive and gram-negative was followed. The results showed that dyeing wool fabrics with (Callig. Co. dye) increased their protective abilities markedly, and they have effective protection against UV rays, also improving their antimicrobial activity. Moreover, Different conditions of the dye bath changed the optical properties noticeably. The present study will be useful for dermatologists advising patients regarding the UPF properties of clothes made from natural fabrics (wool) and dyed with natural colorants (Callig. Co. dye).

Over the last two decades, significant advances have been made in developing disposable baby wet wipes. Wet wipes consist of two main components: nonwoven fabric and liquid. Being more than 90% water, wet wipes are more susceptible to microbial growth than typical personal care products; hence, high concentrations of preservative compounds are often used to ensure extended protection against contamination. However, there is an obvious tendency to minimize the concentration of irritating actives. Baby wet wipes should contain particularly mild surfactants, well-tolerated preservatives, and a buffer system maintaining the formulation pH at a suitable level for the infant’s skin. Efforts have been centered on removing ingredients with irritation potential, such as phenoxyethanol. In addition, a move towards more natural fabrics is occurring. However, these modifications provoke new challenges in preserving the final products. The nature and composition of the fiber can influence the interactions between the preservative and the wipe, subsequently affecting the performance of the preservative system. In this study, we analyzed the causes of the challenge in preserving wet wipes. We found that fabrics containing natural fibers are the main source of contamination, promoting the generation of biofilms on their surfaces. Moreover, the hydrophilic–lipophilic balance (HLB) was utilized to rationalize the physicochemical interactions between the fabric and the preservatives.

Purpose – The key objective of the currentresearchpaper is to assess the demographic profile of fashion college students in the age group of 18-23years and also clarifies how fashion industry influence the buying behaviour of youth. The intention is to understand the type of fashion apparel they purchase & whether there is any correlation between demographic variables & buying behavior. Research approach – Structured questionnaire is used to collect the data from fashion college students of Noida city through random sampling. Findings – Consumers’ interest towards fashionable clothing has been increased and to look different they prefer fast fashion apparels according to the latest trend of fashion industry and colour forecast. Fashion college students have varied thoughts with regard to the product characteristicsand they preferred sustainable and natural fabrics but the maincriteria of apparel selection was on silhouette, price and type of fabric.In addition, Social media and Tv are the major source of information for them.A significant correlation in female participants, monthly budget for clothesand influence of fashion industry. Originality/value – This study focusses on mainly on fashion college students specially the students from fashion college– this subject has not been studied muchbefore.

In this paper, fire resistance of natural fabrics and their composites were experimentally investigated. Special interest was given to use bio based materials such as lignin, chlorophosphates, levulinic acid and cardanol in order to exploit their capability to be utilized as flame retardants. Dopamine hydrochloride was polymerized to polydopamine (PDA) and coated to jute fabric surface. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)/Derivative Thermogravimetric (DTG) analyses were performed to examine surface morphology and effect of PDA to degradation behaviour of jute fabrics. Real fire behaviour of non-coated and coated fabrics was observed with torch burn test. UL-94 horizontal flame propagation test was also utilized for composite samples. Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) testing that measures the minimum amount of oxygen required for combustion, was carried out for assessing the ability of the composite samples for their ability against flammability. PDA was seamlessly coated on the surface of the jute fabrics with its surface-active feature without damaging the structure of the fabric as observed in the SEM images. With the support of this coating on the fabric surface, the increase of the decomposition temperature of the material can be clearly seen in TGA/DTG analyses and torch burn test showed the increase in the ignition time. UL-94 horizontal testing resulted in decrease in flame propagation rate of PDA coated composite samples. In addition to this, when the mass loss rates after combustion are examined, it is seen that there is a decrease in mass loss in the coated fabrics. Jute fabrics, a type of natural fabric, can be efficiently coated with PDA, and the fire retardant property of the PDA coating on natural fabrics has been clearly demonstrated.

Andijan region is the cradle of traditional Uzbek art and folk crafts. It was here that the world-famous potters, masters of applied arts, gold embroidery, the production of natural fabrics and many other crafts were created and developed. This article analyzes the problems of periodicals that were raised in the Soviet period on the pages of the newspapers Andijan Pravda, Andijonnoma. On the basis of primary sources, a number of problems of the periodical press of the period under study are revealed and recommendations are given for the introduction of new materials on the history of the Andijan press.
