African literature has played a major role in changing and shaping perceptions about African people and their way of life for the longest time. Unlike western cultures that are associated with advanced forms of writing, African literature is oral in nature, meaning it has to be recited and even performed. Although Africa has an old tribal culture, African philosophy is a new and strange idea among us. Although the problem of “universality” of African philosophy actually refers to the question of whether Africa has heckling of philosophy in the Western sense, obviously, the philosophy bred by Africa’s native culture must be acknowledged. Therefore, the human–computer interaction-oriented (HCI-oriented) method is proposed to appreciate African literature and African philosophy. To begin with, a physical object of tablet-aid is designed, and a depth camera is used to track the user’s hand and tablet-aid and then map them to the virtual scene, respectively. Then, a tactile redirection method is proposed to meet the user’s requirement of tactile consistency in head-mounted display virtual reality environment. Finally, electroencephalogram (EEG) emotion recognition, based on multiscale convolution kernel convolutional neural networks, is proposed to appreciate the reflection of African philosophy in African literature. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a strong immersion and a good interactive experience in navigation, selection, and manipulation. The proposed HCI method is not only easy to use, but also improves the interaction efficiency and accuracy during appreciation. In addition, the simulation of EEG emotion recognition reveals that the accuracy of emotion classification in 33-channel is 90.63%, almost close to the accuracy of the whole channel, and the proposed algorithm outperforms three baselines with respect to classification accuracy.

The article assessed interaction of state and chemical industry corporations by criteria of budget making, tax burden and managerial impact. The appraisal was made on the basis of methodological tools worked out by the author. Within the period from 2012 to 2020 earnings of corporations of chemical industry producing mineral fertilizers grew and exceeded tax revenues of regions of their location, which caused an increase in companies’ taxation potential. However, analysis of tax payments to the budget system by profit tax, property tax, income tax and VAT did not confirm the growth in this potential. A rise in dividends, payments for losses were typical for enterprises, as well as increasing amount of dividends surpassing net profit. The goal of the article is to identify the level of finance interaction efficiency between state and enterprises of chemical industry. The following enterprises of chemical industry producing mineral fertilizers acted as the object of the research: the public company ‘Apatit’ (Vologda region), the public company ‘Akron’ (Novgorod region) and the public company ‘Dorogobuzh’ (Smolensk region). This choice was stipulated by location of these enterprises in regions with weakly-diversified economic structure and serious dependence on the budget-forming enterprise. The information base of the research was formed by works by Russian and overseas authors dealing with chemical industry development, finance accounting of the companies, data of the Federal Taxation Service and the Treasury of Russia.

Abstract The paper discusses the technology of integration (providing a single interface of interaction) of different software systems working in a single environment. The levels of integration are indicated, the composition of subtasks (subsystems), which can be solved efficiently using various computing environments, are highlighted. The expediency of joint use of MatLab and R systems with high-level programming languages C ++ and C # is shown due to the limited or lack of tools for creating a convenient graphical user interface for mathematical systems, as well as the weak adaptability of programming languages for mathematical or statistical data processing and solving modeling problems. The aim of the article is to justify the most appropriate technology for integrating MatLab and R with highlevel programming languages to ensure high interaction efficiency and a user-friendly interface for complex mathematical or statistical data processing problems. The analysis of the possibilities and ways of solving the organization of interaction of MatLab and R systems with high-level languages carried out on the example of C # and the Microsoft Visual Studio environment. The possibilities of interaction of the R system and the MatLab system with highlevel programming languages, respectively, are considered. An example of software implementation of the integration of R and MatLab with a C# application is given. The capabilities of the developed program as a whole and the functionality of each of the subsystems used (R, MatLab and applications in C #) are indicated. The most preferable variant of integration of the considered systems - with the use of .NetFramework platform - is singled out. The advantages of using the Common Language Runtime for the implementation of the considered option of integrating R, MatLab and C # applications are noted.

The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is heavily glycosylated, having 22 predicted N-glycosylation sites per monomer. It is also O-glycosylated, although the number of O-glycosites is less defined. Recent studies show that spike protein glycans play critical roles in viral entry and infection. The spike monomer has two subdomains, S1 and S2, and a receptor-binding domain (RBD) within the S1 domain. In this study, we have characterized the site-specific glycosylation patterns of the HEK293 recombinant spike RBD and S1 domains as well as the intact spike derived from the whole virus produced in Vero cells. The Vero cell-derived spike from the WA1 strain and a D614G variant was analyzed. All spike proteins, S1, and RBDs were analyzed using hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) and LC-MS/MS on an Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid mass spectrometer. N-glycans identified in HEK293-derived S1 were structurally diverse. Those found in the HEK293-derived RBD were highly similar to those in HEK293 S1 where N-glycosites were shared. Comparison of the whole cell-derived WA1 and D614G spike proteins revealed that N-glycosites local to the mutation site appeared to be more readily detected, hinting that these sites are more exposed to glycosylation machinery. Moreover, recombinant HEK293-derived S1 was occupied almost completely with complex glycan, while both WA1 and D614G derived from the Vero E6 cell whole virus were predominantly high-mannose glycans. This stands in stark contrast to glycosylation patterns seen in both CHO- and HEK cell-derived recombinant S1, S2, and the whole spike previously reported. Concerning O-glycosylation, our analyses revealed that HEK293 recombinant proteins possessed a range of O-glycosites with compositions consistent with Core type 1 and 2 glycans. The O-glycosites shared between the S1 and RBD constructs, sites T323 and T523, were occupied by a similar range of Core 1 and 2 type O-glycans. Overall, this study reveals that the sample nature and cell substrate used for production of these proteins can have a dramatic impact on the glycosylation profile. SARS-CoV-2 spike glycans are associated with host ACE2 receptor interaction efficiency. Therefore, understanding such differences will serve to better understand these host–pathogen interactions and inform the choice of cell substrates to suite downstream investigations.

BACKGROUND: Garden pea (Pisum sativum L.) possesses the ability to form beneficial symbioses with various soil microorganisms. However, different pea cultivars, genotypes, and lines gain more or less benefit from these interactions, so the trait named efficiency of interaction with soil microorganisms (EIBSM) was suggested to describe this phenomenon. The molecular mechanisms underlying the manifestation of the EIBSM trait are not properly studied, and only few works focusing on plant responses to combined microbial preparations have been published to date. METHODS: Eight pea lines previously described as contrasting in manifestation of the EIBSM trait were grown in pots with soil under combined inoculation with nodule bacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, and the transcriptome profiles of the whole root systems of the plants were investigated using 3'MACE RNA sequencing. RESULTS: The relatedness of the lines inferred from the analysis of transcripts SNVs (Single Nucleotide Variants) corresponded to the manifestation of the EIBSM trait: three high-EIBSM lines and three low-EIBSM lines formed two distinct clusters. Thus, the gene expression profiles were compared between these two clusters, which enabled identification of transcriptome signatures characteristic for each group. The lines previously described as high-EIBSM have lower symbiotic activity, and the expression levels of pathogen response genes were elevated compared to the lines with low EIBSM. CONCLUSION: This result suggests that the mechanism of high interaction efficiency may be connected to stricter host control of symbionts, allowing such plants to expend less on the symbioses.

Introduction: the paper reveals the peculiarities of the interaction of the court with the officials for the prosecution, who have authority at the stages of initiating a criminal case and preliminary investigation. The paper reveals the types of interaction, as well as the prerequisites for the interaction efficiency between the court and the parties to criminal proceedings on the part of the prosecution, which are based on such fundamental principles of the criminal process as legality, inviolability of the individual, respect for the honor and dignity of the individual and publicity. The interaction of parties to criminal proceedings on the part of the prosecution and the court is carried out through mutual relations conditioned by common tasks, which are based on the principle of publicity, caused by the interests of society and the state, in order to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of the individual, to some extent involved in the criminal proceedings. In this regard, the objectives of the study are: the recommendations for improving the interaction efficiency between individual participants of the prosecution and the court in pre-trial proceedings in a criminal case, the enhancing of cooperation between the subjects of the investigation, the prosecutor and the court, aimed at protecting the rights of persons who have suffered from a crime, as well as the ensuring of the rights of an individual who has been subjected to unjustified criminal prosecution. Methods: the methodological framework for the scientific paper is the methods of scientific cognition, and such general scientific research methods as dialectical, logical, system, structural and functional, and the specific scientific methods, the comparative legal and formal legal methods. Results: in the paper, the authors determine that the interaction of the court, the prosecutor and the investigator contains the following components: purpose, stage and form; sets the criteria for the forms of interaction, in the form of procedural status, purpose, share of responsibility and the nature of legal relations. The paper examines such terms as “relationship” and “interaction”, due to the need to determine their relationship. The authors establish that the relationship of interaction and relationships of parties to criminal proceedings can be characterized as part and general. The highest form of relationship between parties to criminal proceedings is procedural interaction, which forms their stable relationships, gives them the property of stability and productivity. Conclusions: the authors determine that the interaction of the preliminary investigation bodies, the prosecutor and the court is based on the tasks of collecting evidence in the course of criminal proceedings, due to: the need to obtain permission to conduct certain investigative actions and the measures of procedural coercion; the prosecutor’s supervision of the procedural activities of the bodies of inquiry and preliminary investigation; the powers of the court in pre-trial proceedings. The authors come to the conclusion that the main tasks of interaction are: ensuring the legality of the activities of the participants in the interaction; preparing an indictment, a charging document or a determination, for a full, comprehensive and objective judicial review; implementing the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen, the interests of society and the state.

This thesis presents a Virtual Cadaver system, ViC, which allows users to interactively “cut open” and visualize a highly realistic representation of 3D human anatomy, including skin, muscles, bones, arteries and many other anatomical systems and structures. ViC’s interaction and visualization functionality, coupled with a multi-touch interface, provide real-time cutaway operations using simple and familiar gestures. To support the cutaway feature, ViC’s 3D human anatomy dataset is preprocessed, breaking up the large anatomy system data meshes into smaller, more manageable mesh “fragments”. The shape of each fragment is crafted to support semantically meaningful cutaways while the “granularity” of the fragments supports interaction efficiency. ViC uses game technology to enable highly realistic rendering of human anatomy. Furthermore, ViC’s performance and cutaway capabilities were evaluated on consumer-grade hardware to confirm that real-time interaction and visualization with highly-responsive multi-touch input actions can be achieved.
