Achieving a good urban form has been a problem since the formation of the earliest cities. The tendency of human populations toward living in urban environments and urbanization has made the quality of life more prominent. This article aimed to calculate the quality of life in an objective way. For this purpose, the technique for order preferences by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), vlseKriterijumsk optimizacija kompromisno resenje (VIKOR), simple additive weighted (SAW), and elimination and choice expressing reality (ELECTRE) have been utilized. Quality of life was assessed at three spatial levels. In this regard, socioeconomic, environmental, and accessibility dimensions were considered. As a result, in the first level of comparison, sub-districts in District 6 were ranked higher than that of District 13. On the second level, for District 6, vicinity sub-districts had higher rankings than the center, and for District 13, sub-districts near the center of the city had higher rankings. In the third level, District 6 had a higher quality of life. The results of the comparison between research methods showed that the SAW method performs better in terms of stability. Based on the results of correlation tables, there was a strong and direct relationship between each pair of methods at three spatial levels. In addition, as the study area became smaller, the similarity between the methods increased.

The purpose of the article is to determine the influence of the socio-economic and socio-political situation in the Orel region on the level of social tension. The research methodology is a sociological analysis of the respondents' answers about the socio-economic and socio-political situation in the region, as well as the level of social tension using two-dimensional analysis and correlation tables. As a result, the importance of conducting monitoring sociological studies of the main indicators of the social development of the region has been substantiated. It was revealed that the population of the region believes that the state of affairs in the economic sphere in the region is much worse than in the country as a whole. Despite the fact that the majority of respondents note an improvement in the political situation in the region, the fact that every third resident of the region declares that it has deteriorated is quite alarming. The authors come to the conclusion that dissatisfaction with the socio-political and socio-economic situation directly affects the civic position of the population, affects the growth of social tension. It is summarized that social tension is a complex multifactorial phenomenon that cannot be interpreted unambiguously. Therefore, to monitor it, constant research should be carried out.

After testing according to the developed state methods and procedures for polyurethane foam thermal insulation of laminated composite structures with metal facings, the issues of correlation, probabilistic-statistical regression models between the signs of elasticity in tension Eshear and signs of elasticity in shear Gshear were investigated. It is shown that the test results are random stochastic values. Their variability, depending on the type of tests and the parameter under study, is in the acceptable average values. The presence of a significant number of each of the characteristics, for example, Eshear - Gshift, predetermined the use of correlation tables to establish the fact of a relationship. Modules of elasticity under tension and shear were determined. The correlation coefficient between Eshear and Gshift is 0.659. With the help of a computer program, correlation tables were built and the calculation of the probabilistic-statistical interaction of characteristics with different reference points was made. When considering one-dimensional aggregates, the laws of distribution of positive values of the characteristics of foams can be adopted of various types. The connection between phenomena can be not only linear, but also non-linear. In this case, nonlinear correlation can be realized in the form of parabolic and other equations of a certain degree. The calculation of the interaction is carried out on the basis of second-order parabolic equations. Approximation in the form of second-order equations does not greatly improve the convergence, but the possibilities for extrapolating statistical models are reduced.

The similarity analysis of the monthly electric energy demand time series sequence patterns are shown. The similarity-based forecasting models are allowed to be created because a strong relationship between input and output patterns exists. The chi-square test and the correlation tables were calculated for a few definitions of patterns.

Regarding the aging population, the question of care and financial support of the elderly becomes increasingly relevant. At the same time, the rise of divorce and separation becomes a very strong trend in modern society. Due to absence of joint custody in Russia, connection between fathers and children weakens after divorce and in this context the research question is: Do children help their elderly fathers after divorce, and what is the gender specificity in upward transfers after divorce? The object of this study is to examine the transfers that elderly Russian men and women get from their children. This research is based on data from the “Comprehensive Monitoring of Living Conditions of the Population” conducted in Russia in 2014. The target sample consisted of 113 000 persons over 15 years old—37 787 of which were over retirement age. The survey covered all regions of the Russian Federation. The method used in this analysis is mainly descriptive statistics and correlation tables. According to the results there is a considerable gap between elderly men and women in getting help from their children due to weakened connections between children and their fathers after divorce. This problem can be solved with the development of institutions of social protection, but unfortunately this sphere in Russia has not yet been sufficiently developed.

The research has been carried out as a descriptive way to find out to determine the factors that affect the silence of executive nurses. The research consists of a university hospital in Istanbul as 101 executive nurses employed. The relationship among the demographic features of the executive nurses, the questions as for speaking tendency and the factors that affect their silence have been tried to be identified. It has also been statistically analysed whether any relationship has existed among these. The findings of the research show that; 25.7% of the executive nurses don’t shared when they reached the important information about the work and that their silence for reasons of great priority was ‘managerial and organisational reasons’. The scores the nurses mentioned above got from the scales of the issue and they were reasons why they were silent were meaningful when the correlation tables studied. Keywords: Nursing, executive nursing, organisational silence, silence in executive nurses.
