The author generalizes the results of library user survey. The survey was held within the framework of the study “Webometric monitoring of libraries”. The study goal was to assess the virtual geography of library website users and to specify target audience. The user audience of 11 library websites was assessed by following criteria: geographical data (user location, probable user residence area); user demographic data (sex, age); loyalty indicators (bounce rate, visit depth, visit duration); website user desired actions (estimation of desired action conversion). Based on the findings, the author concludes that: library offline services impact website user geography; there is a close interdependence between library location and website traffic; users resident in the library region make the most loyal website users; women prevail in the library user audience. The target website user audience is identified; recommendations are offered for the further strategic development in the web-space. The study conclusions and recommendations would facilitate generated demanded content and efficient promotion of library information resources and services in the web-space.

Vehicular visible light communication is known as a promising way of inter-vehicle communication. Vehicular VLC can ensure the significant advancement of safety and efficiency in traffic. It has disadvantages, such as unexpected glare on drivers in moving conditions, i.e., non-line-of-sight link at night. While designing a receiver, the most important factor is to ensure the optimal quality of the received signal. Within this context, to achieve an optimal communication quality, it is necessary to find the optimal maximum signal strength. Hereafter, a new receiver design is focused on in this paper at the circuit level, and a novel micro genetic algorithm is proposed to optimize the signal strength. The receiver can calculate the SNR, and it is possible to modify its structural design. The micro GA determines the alignment of the maximum signal strength at the receiver point rather than monitoring the signal strength for each angle. The results showed that the proposed scheme accurately estimates the alignment of the receiver, which gives the optimum signal strength. In comparison with the conventional GA, the micro GA results showed that the maximum received signal strength was improved by −1.7 dBm, −2.6 dBm for user Location 1 and user Location 2, respectively, which proves that the micro GA is more efficient. The execution time of the conventional GA was 7.1 s, while the micro GA showed 0.7 s. Furthermore, at a low SNR, the receiver showed robust communication for automotive applications.

With the development of internet and wireless technologies, location based search is among the most discussed topic in current era. To address issues of location based search a lot of research has been done but it mainly focused on the specific aspects of the domain like most of the studies focused, on the search of nearby restaurants, shopping malls, hospitals, stores etc., by utilizing location of users as searching criteria. Problem with these studies is that users might not be satisfied by their results and the sole reason behind this might be the absence of user preferences in the search criteria. There exists some studies which focused user preferences along with user location and query time and proposed some frameworks but they are only limited to stores and their research cannot be scaled to other points like schools, hospitals, doctors , petrol pumps, gas station etc. Moreover there exist scalability issues in their recommended algorithms along with some data credibility issues in their public evaluations strategies. Our proposed research is going to present a novel location based searching technique not only for stores but for any point. The presented solution has overcome issues faced in previous research studies and possesses capability to search for “K” nearest points which are most preferable by user, by utilizing searching time as well as query location. Our research has proposed two feedback learning algorithms and one ranking algorithm. To increase the credibility of public evaluation score, system have utilized Google ranking approach while calculating the score of the point. To make user recommendations nonvolatile along with improving recommendations algorithm efficiency, proposed system have introduced item to item collaborative filtering algorithm. Through experimental evaluations on real dataset of yelp.com presented research have shown significant gain in performance and accuracy.

The 5g of cellular networks improves the precision of user localization and provides the means to disclose location information to ott service providers. The nwdaf can further elaborate this information at an aggregated level using artificial intelligence techniques. These powerful features may lead to the improper use of user location information by mno and ott service providers. Moreover, vulnerabilities at various layers may also leak user location information to eavesdroppers. Hence, the privacy of users is likely at risk, as location is part of their sensitive data. In this paper, we first go through the evolution of localization in cellular networks and investigate their effects on location privacy. Then, we propose a location-privacy-preserving integrated solution comprising virtual private mobile networks, an independent authentication and billing authority, and functions to protect wireless signals against location information leakage. Moreover, we advocate the continuous and detailed control of localization services by the user.

With the rapid growth of the number of Web services, it is necessary to build an efficient web service recommendation system in the face of massive web services. In order to recommend high-quality services to users, the key problem is how to obtain the s value of Web services. This paper proposes a collaborative web service recommendation method based on location clustering. Firstly, users are clustered according to the autonomous system by using the correlation between QoS and user location. According to the clustering results, the system fills in the vacancy Qos value; Then, the vacancy Qos value is filled in in advance and the similarity between active users and each user is calculated. Based on this, to P-K algorithm is used to obtain the most similar Qos value to predict the unknown service for active users to complete the recommendation. The method proposed in this paper can effectively solve the problem of data sparsity and cold start of Web services. At the same time, a better balance between accuracy and coverage is obtained.

In spite of the vast set of measurements provided by current mobile networks, cellular operators have problems pinpointing problematic locations because the origin of such measurements (i.e., user location) is usually not registered. At the same time, social networks generate a huge amount of data that can be used to infer population density. In this work, a data-driven model is proposed to deduce the statistical distribution of connections, exploiting the knowledge of network layout and population density in the scenario. Due to the absence of GPS measurements, the proposed method combines data from radio connection traces stored in the network management system and geolocated posts from social networks. This information is enriched with user context information inferred from data traffic attributes. The method is tested with a large trace dataset from a live Long Term Evolution (LTE) network and a database of geotagged posts from social networks collected in real-time.

Kupang city is one of the cities in Indonesia that has a high level of religious tolerance, this is supported by the Peace Gong archipelago, but this is inversely proportional to religious education in the city of Kupang, especially the Islamic religious education because of lack of religious instruction in formal education institutions . The Qur'an Educational Park is an institution that plays an important role in providing religious education, the procedure of reading and understanding al-quran. But the lack of community knowledge about the location of the Quranic Education Park has left the public confused to find and choose the right religious education institutions to give their children education about religion. For that, there need to be built an application that can display the location and information about the Qur'an Educational Park located in the city of Kupang. With Android-based development, it will simplify the community because Android smartphone users are quite a lot and ensure the accuracy of user location data. In addition to showing the location, the application will also provide information about the Qur'an Educational Park in Kupang City that has been marked on google maps.
