Today, globalization and digitalization play a critical role in advancing science and technology in developing nations such as Indonesia. The change from a traditional to a digital environment has numerous positive and negative consequences. Globalization and digitalization have also successfully affected many elements of human life. In addition to delivering numerous valuable features and services for humans, the enormity of globalization and digitalization has a detrimental influence, particularly on young Indonesians. The crisis of character and morality among Indonesian young is significant, as seen by their current behavior, which is inconsistent with the character of the Indonesian country and the principles enshrined in Pancasila. Pancasila, which incorporates a variety of instruments, praxis, and axiological ideals, should serve as a guide for young people's behavior. This study investigates the influence of the deteriorating application of Pancasila's practical ideals in the daily lives of young people in the modern, digital era and how globalization impacts the moral degeneration of today's Indonesian youth. The researcher employs the process of Literature Review. The primary sources are literature studies in research papers, journals, and books. The absence of Pancasila ideals application and the expansion of globalization and digitalization among young people are diminishing and impacting the character of Indonesian youth. The application and execution of Pancasila's practical ideals among young Indonesians must be enhanced to prevent the nation's moral integrity from being undermined by the expanding currents of globalization and digitalization.

As the technological advancement in the automotive field increases and the complexity of vehicle and infrastructure applications is extremely high, new directions and approaches are needed in this field. Supporting and developing vehicular applications dedicated to road safety by analyzing the current behavior of existing networks in various forms is imperative. This paper studies and implements a DSRC-type communications infrastructure that receives a set of controllable and adjustable indicators, which can provide messages to network drivers in a timely manner. The implementation is based on the 802.11p protocol and initially addresses pedestrian infrastructure or pedestrian safety, controlled areas, and perimeters that allow intelligent communications. The design and setting of the communication parameters in the lower layer of the DSRC stack for vehicle applications are part of this work, aspects that are also relevant in the case of autonomous vehicles.

AbstractBreast cancer is one of the most common cancer types among women, accountable for approximately 2.2 million new cases and 684,996 deaths globally in 2020. There are various screening methods to detect cancer early, and experts suggest that women should perform breast self-examination (BSE) once a month. Unfortunately, most women fail to do so even if they are aware of the risks and the importance of screening methods. The aim of this paper is to understand women's current behavior and experience with BSE and mobile BSE apps and to suggest several design dimensions for positive mobile BSE app experience by benefiting from positive technology. With this aim, three selected mobile BSE apps were used by a total of 24 participants for four weeks. A three-phase study was carried out to uncover women’s pre- during-, and post-usage experiences of BSE apps. The analysis revealed six headings under two themes: strategies, limitations, and emotions under BSE theme; and the needs, limitations, and benefits under Mobile Apps theme. Consequently, based on the findings, suggestions for design dimensions for BSE apps to better meet women’s needs by benefiting from levels of positive technology are made.

Kissing bugs readily enter homes in the Sonoran Desert and bite the residents. Their saliva is highly antigenic, causing local and systemic skin reactions and life-threatening anaphylaxis. We attempted to determine what characteristics of homesites may have contributed to home intrusion by kissing bugs. Extensive and detailed information about the homes and the home environment was collected from 78 homeowners in Tucson who suffered kissing bug intrusions. Homeowners collected 298 Triatoma rubida in and around their homes. Of the homes entered by kissing bugs, 29 of 46 (63%) contained bugs harboring Trypanosoma cruzi. Although in the aggregate, homeowners were bitten > 2200 times, no individual tested positive for Chagas disease (N = 116). Although yearly intrusion likely occurs in some homes, T. rubida does not domiciliate within homesites in the Desert Southwest. We conclude there is little risk to homeowners for Chagas disease given the current behavior of resident kissing bugs and absent ingesting kissing bug fecal matter.

The main problem that is manifested in this research is the evidence that even in the fields of professional development of individuals, the thought is maintained that some careers and work functions should only be developed by women and others are exclusively for men. These stereotypes have been expressed in a general way in professions such as the executive secretary, which has been a manifestation of the gender inequality that still prevails. This study had a qualitative approach, considering as historical-logical methods that allowed us to understand the dynamics of the conception of the career of Executive Secretariat in its historical evolution; the documentary-bibliographic, for the compilation of previous investigations; analysis and synthesis throughout the investigative and inductive-deductive process, to analyze in detail the general elements through the determination of the analysis indicators. The professionals of the ULEAM Executive Secretariat Career, from the cohorts (1975-1979; 2019 (1) and 2019 (2) are taken as an empirical reference. The results of the current behavior of this profession do not show greater evolution in Regarding gender equality, since the number of graduates is still very small in relation to the number of graduates; and in general, 100% of the interviewees highlighted that they have felt uncomfortable in the processes of insertion and job performance, due to gender stereotypes assigned to this profession .

This article consists a review of the existing literature on artificial intelligence (AI) with respect to financial crimes. The purpose is to notify the unintentional bad impacts and intentional good impacts of AI applications in relation to financial crimes. This article has reinforced the discussions stating AI applications to be considered as a solution for financial crimes instead of being criticized as the cause for financial crime. The public and private sectors both need be alert with the unintentional harm caused by cybercrime. The current behavior of AI is considered as an accelerator or an antidote to financial crimes, specific to cybercrimes. It is advised to apply criminal law to control cybercrimes. However, holding the AI agents responsible is considered to be an inappropriate mechanism. Thus, AI systems are still not deemed to be capable of forming a proper legitimate system in order to curb the financial crimes.

The purpose of this study is to express changes in consumer preferences for certain food products due to the income growth of the population, and to specify the way producers or retailers of these commodities respond to the changes in customer choices. The methodology of this study is based on comparing the economic model of consumer behavior in the market to the analysis of demand elasticity, together with its practical application to food products of the same brand offered by multinational chains in Czechia and Germany. The study presents a new survey, including a comparison of the quality and safety of food products offered by retail chains in Czechia and Germany, and a comparison with similar bio-quality products offered by Czech farmers in their shops or at farmers’ markets. As the comparison indicates, unless multinational producers change their current behavior, consumers will prefer purchasing products from Czech producers, including products offered at farmers’ markets, and shop in neighboring countries where higher-quality original products may be found.
