The dorsal movement of the Achilles tendon during ankle rotation is restricted by anatomical obstructions. Previously, we demonstrated that the anatomical obstruction provides a gain (gainAT) in the proximal displacement of the calcaneus compared to the change in the Achilles tendon length. Here, we empirically validate and extend our previous modeling study by investigating the effects of a broad range of obstruction locations on gainAT. The largest gainAT could be achieved when the obstruction was located on the most ventral and distal sides within the physiological range of the Achilles tendon, irrespective of the ankle position.

Sulfur dioxide is one of the dangerous pollutant gases; it has many effects associated with longer exposures to respiratory illness, alterations in the lungs, cardiovascular disease, and premature death. In this study desulfurization techniques are applied to the burned fuel oil used in the Al-Daura refinery at two seasons (January represents winter and July represents summer) to reduce the emission of SO2. Method for desulfurization is based on oxidation (hydrogen peroxide) and solvent extraction techniques by N-methyl–2 -pyrrolidone (NMP) applied on crude fuel oil used in refinery, this method can remove about 75% of sulfur from fuel oil used to a supplied refinery in 2017. The total amount of burned fuel oil is 60011.6 and 40418 kg/hour (January–July) through 2017. The emission rate for SO2 is calculated before and after desulfurization suggested to apply and leads to reduce the average monthly rates from 6000 to 2100 and 2900–700µg/m3 at January-July at a distance of 1000 m from refinery point center. More reduction in farther distances in SO2 concentration reach to more than 35% resulted after applied desulfurization. This change in emission rate leads to modify the pollution spatial distribution of SO2 concentration according to the Gaussian model for the dispersion of pollutant around the refinery and with a distance reached to more than 10 km. Overall there is a significant change in the air quality of SO2 around Al-Daura refinery specifically in the southeast direction when this technique is applied.

The survey was conducted in the mangrove forests around the Magyi and Utto Creeks at Shwe-Thaung-Yan coastal areas in Ayeyarwady Delta region, April 2018. Transect lines were laid as lower, middle and upper, and quadrate plots based on Point Center Quarter Method (PCQM) P-DATA PRO were used. A total of 15 species of true mangrove was recorded. Rhizophora apiculata and Bruguiera gymnorhiza are the most dominant and distributed species in the study area. Followed by Bruguiera sexangulata, Cerop tagal and Rhizophora mucronata then remaining species. Zonation pattern of mangroves species as lower, middle, upper was also examined in study areas. Among than 1 species in Near Threaten (NT), 1 species in Critically Endangered (CR), 1 species in Endangered (EN) and remaining species are Least Concern (LC) had been considered according with IUCN red list. The environmental parameters such as water salinity and temperature, soil salinity, soil temperature and soil pH of study area were also recorded.

The k-means is a clustering algorithm that is often and easy to use. This algorithm is susceptible to randomly chosen centroid points so that it cannot produce optimal results. This research aimed to improve the k-means algorithm’s performance by applying a proposed algorithm called point center. The proposed algorithm overcame the random centroid value in k-means and then applied it to predict software defects modules’ errors. The point center algorithm was proposed to determine the initial centroid value for the k-means algorithm optimization. Then, the selection of X and Y variables determined the cluster center members. The ten datasets were used to perform the testing, of which nine datasets were used for predicting software defects. The proposed center point algorithm showed the lowest errors. It also improved the k-means algorithm’s performance by an average of 12.82% cluster errors in the software compared to the centroid value obtained randomly on the simple k-means algorithm. The findings are beneficial and contribute to developing a clustering model to handle data, such as to predict software defect modules more accurately.

To prevent the initiation failure caused by the uncontrolled fuze and improve the weapon reliability in the high-speed double-event fuel-air explosive (DEFAE) application, it is necessary to study the TDF motion trajectory and set up a twice-detonating fuze (TDF) design system. Hence, a novel approach of realising the fixed single-point center initiation by TDF within the fuel air cloud is proposed. Accordingly, a computational model for the TDF motion state with the nonlinear mechanics analysis is built due to the expensive and difficult full-scale experiment. Moreover, the TDF guidance design system is programmed using MATLAB with the equations of mechanical equilibrium. In addition, by this system, influences of various input parameters on the TDF motion trajectory are studied in detail singly. Conclusively, the result of a certain TDF example indicates that this paper provides an economical idea for the TDF design, and the developed graphical user interface of high-efficiency for the weapon designers to facilitate the high-speed DEFAE missile development.

The survey was conducted in the mangrove forest around the Kapa Village in Kadan Island, Myeik Coastal area, in April 2018. Transect lines in shoreline, seaward and landward, and plot based on Point Center Quarter Method (PCQM) P-DATA PRO were used. A total of 18 species of true mangroves were record. Among than 1 species in Near Threaten(NT), 1 species in Critically Endangered(CR), 2 species in Endangered(EN) considered under the IUCN red list. Rhizophora apiculata and R.mucronata are the dominant species in the area. Aegialitis rotumdifolia, Avicennia marina, Excoecaria aglocha, Heritiera littoralis, Sonneratia graffithii, Xylocarpus mucronata and Nypa fruticans are the least species in the area. Among the three study sites of Kapa, Landward zone is the most distributed of species and shoreline zone is the least distributed. The complexity index was found 2.5 to 67.3.The total forest density 0.17 to 0.39m2 and mean height 3.2 to 4.7m. The mean important value of Rhizophora apiculata was heights; the Nypa frucan was least. The environmental parameters such as salinity and temperature of seawater, and temperature and pH of soils of each study site were presented.

In a computer network system when using more than one router that is interconnected will experience a problem in the process of sending data packets. The problem is that if the main line is disconnected, then the data packet is unable to send data to a computer network system. The purpose of this study is to make a computer network system design with fail over technique on the type of static routing that is not directly connected. In this case the researcher used the Microtub Router Board RB-951-2nd. Failover technique is a way to transfer routing paths when the main line is broken, so it can be diverted to the backup routing path, this is so that the computer network connection path continues smoothly. The researcher used a recursive network connection case or the router is not connected directly to the main point center (main gateway), so the researcher used the optimization of the Target Scope and Distance features in the Microtic Router Board. The results of this study was that the backup routing path was able to channel data packets within the network if the main line did not respond or could not be connected.

<p class="IABSSS">Study literature of Islamic Astronomy in case prayer times, is less from getting specific attention. Furthermore, the schedule of prayer times is very complex. Such as its still being distributed in form converting one to another area. It should be computed based on each district or city. Appearing new case that is coordinates point data (latitude and longitude) where used as center point computations. This thesis is researched the effect and importance implementation of center coordinate point from district or city in the determining of prayer times schedule. The research used mathemathic analytic descriptive and comparative analysis methods. With purpose to know in detail the comparation result from prayer times computations using center coordinate point and otherwise. The result of research shows the effect prayer times schedule can be applied for one district or city area. Meanwhile, computed prayer times schedule that use another center point coordinate not exactly can be applied in one district or city area. Though coordinate different value more than 0,5° and its position located in the south and east center coordinate point. Center coordinate point must be applied because at the base this coordinate point have been considered geographical aspect. Where in width side for the north, south, east and west have been considered and have the equilibrium distance.</p><p class="IABSSS">[]</p><p class="IABSSS">Kajian studi Astronomi Islam dalam persoalan waktu salat kurang mendapat perhatian khusus. Padahal persoalan jadwal waktu salat sangat komplek, seperti masih beredarnya jadwal waktu salat yang dikonversi dari satu daerah ke daerah lain. Sudah seharusnya jadwal waktu salat disusun berdasarkan kabupaten atau kota masing-masing. Persoalan baru yang muncul adalah data titik koordinat (lintang dan bujur) mana yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan perhitungannya. Dalam tulisan ini meneliti dampak dan perlunya implementasi titik koordinat tengah kabupaten atau kota dalam perhitungan jadwal waktu salat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis matematis dan analisis komparatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara detail hasil perbandingan perhitungan jadwal waktu salat dengan menggunakan titik koordinat tengah dan selain titik koordinat tengah. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, dampaknya jadwal waktu salat dapat diberlakukan untuk satu wilayah kabupaten atau kota. Sedangkan jadwal waktu salat yang diperhitungkan menggunakan selain titik koordinat tengah belum tentu dapat diberlakukan untuk satu wilayah kabupaten atau kota, apalagi selisih koordinatnya diatas 0,5° dan posisinya berada di sebelah selatan dan timur  dari titik koordinat tengah. Titik koordinat tengah perlu diimplementasikan, karena pada dasarnya titik koordinat ini telah mempertimbangkan aspek geografis. Dimana dalam segi luas untuk bagian utara, selatan dan timur, barat nya telah dipertimbangkan dan jaraknya pun seimbang.</p>
