A method for synchronizing clock pulses with an external pulse is proposed, which allows reducing the errors in the formation of time intervals when changing the duration of the total delay of a multi-lead delay line, and a device that implements this method. Studies have been conducted that demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, and time diagrams are provided.

A method for processing audio signals of steps of various people in order to effectively separate pseudospectra of signals that can be further subjected to the classification procedure is proposed. The model of a human steps detector was based on the dynamic parameters of the foot position when walking. To record step signals, vibroacoustic sensors were used, sensitive to mechanical and acoustic vibrations in the frequency range from 10 to 1000 Hz. The processing of recorded step signals involved calculating their envelope and then calculating the pseudospectra of the envelope. The procedure for orthogonalization of the pseudospectra of steps for their effective frequency diversity can be used as the basis for the operation of an automated Remote Access Control System. This system can find the application in areas where for one reason or another it is impossible to install another biometric system or is extremely inconvenient, for example, to control access to a room into which the working personnel enter in a special uniform, gloves, and goggles.

The analysis of the connection between the bandwidth and the dynamic range, the signal-to-noise ratio, the resolution time and the bandwidth is carried out. The problems are solved by deriving analytical dependencies based on the Shannon – Hartley theorem, as well as the well-known postulates of the theory of radio engineering circuits and signals. The study of analytical relations allows us to identify restrictions on the choice of communication channel parameters.

The article is devoted to the development, adaptation and application of methods and means of systems engineering (SE) in the field of the entire life cycle of memristive neural networks (ANNMs) of arbitrary complexity and purpose. During the review of publications, a significant discrepancy in the conceptual apparatus in the field of SE was shown among various authoritative and well-known specialists. A general approach to concepts that have not received universally recognized definitions, designations, terms in the scientific and technical community is proposed. On the basis of the general approach formed by the authors, general scientific and general technical working versions of basic concepts, designations, terms and definitions in the field of SE and their variants are proposed, coordinated with the current regulatory documents and adapted in relation to ANNM. Compiled and substantiated diagrams of connections between concepts in the field of SE. An example of application of the SE component - system design of ANNM with a given reliability is given.

The relevance are substantiated and the calculation relations for computing the components of the integral performance indicator – private performance indicators – based on the technical characteristics of the network information security tool of an automated information and telecommunications system are determined. Present a variant of application of the proposed methodological approach on the example of multifunctional firewalls.

The problem of constructing a «correct» mathematical model of the bell-shaped reaction of a scanning infrared sensor to a point object is considered. The suggested model takes into account changes in amplitude, duration and a shape of channel pulses in different situations when a light spot hits photosensitive areas. The results of computer modeling have shown low efficiency of traditional matched filtering in estimating amplitude of pulses from point objects when the sin2 function is used as a pulse model.

The article is devoted to the reliability of hardware implementation of artificial neural networks based on memristive devices (ANNM). On the basis of the system engineering methodology, the authors have developed a universal general approach to determining the reliability of ANNM “from the accuracy of functioning through fault tolerance”. The active and passive methods of ensuring the reliability of ANNM are described. An example of determining and ensuring the reliability of a specific version of the hardware implementation of ANNM is given.

A methodological approach to the implementation of information protection measures against threats of unauthorized access to the technological process parameters values and their changes, implemented through a distributed control system and leading to an emergency at the oil refining facility, is proposed. An example of approbation of the methodological approach in the context of the distributed control system of the technological process of vacuum distillation is given. The results of assessing the possibility of implementing threats to the system with and without applied protection measures are presented.

A method of antenna array calibration, based on the using of the recursive least squares (RLS) adaptive filtering algorithms is discussed. The matrix inversion lemma, the QR-decomposition and the Householder transform based RLS algorithms with quadratic computational complexity can be used for the method implementation in the narrowband adaptive arrays. The proposed calibration method is used in the antenna arrays with digital beam forming. The method demonstrates the ability to estimate and compensate the channel gain errors that ensures the average deviation of the calibrated array radiation pattern shape relatively the radiation pattern shape of the ideal array about –20 dB.
