The Internet is a tool that enables knowledge and information to spread rapidly, which has a huge impact on the development of person and society. It has a particularly significant impact on the young generation that eagerly use its benefits for the entertainment, communication and information purposes. A mobile phone plays an increasing role here, as it enables continuous, mobile access to the network. However, the effects of using the Internet in everyday life can be positive (e.g. learning) but also negative (e.g. addictions). Research shows that the time spent by young people online is constantly increasing. This causes concern among parents and carers. The use of the Internet by children and adolescents is a current and important topic, that requires constant attention and continuation of research, as well as education of users, parents and teachers on the proper use of the Internet.

The article concerns the organization of mass ideological training of teachers in People's Poland in the years 1949-1956. It includes a section related to the activity of poviat ideological training instructors of teachers who were an extremely important link in this process, carried out by the Polish Teachers' Union. The study focuses on the practical side of their activity, consisting primarily in the organization, management and supervision of the work of ideological training teams in schools. This topic is presented based on the example of the activities of the instructors of the city of Tarnów and the Tarnów poviat, at the end of the Stalinist period in the Polish People's Republic. The aim of mass ideological training was to indoctrinate the teaching community so that teachers were ready to implement new curricula, became familiar with the new terminology of philosophy, sociology and political economy, as well as pedagogical sciences based on Marxism-Leninism. Thus, they were to contribute to building a socialist state, in line with the expectations of the communist party.

Among the various forms of association of the Catholic laity in the Church, one can distinguish associations and organisations – whether they are based on canonical or civil law on associations – and informal circles: religious movements, groups, circles and small groups. The difficult situation of the Church in Poland after World War II was not conducive to the creation of organisations whose activities would be approved by both the church authorities and the state authorities. If, however, quasi-ecclesiastical or religious organisations were to emerge that were recognised by the civil authorities, these were unfortunately organisations that had very little in common with the good of the Church and the faithful. Against this backdrop, the Catholic Intelligence Clubs were a kind of phenomenon. They enjoyed the approval of the Church authorities and, to some extent, the unintentional recognition of the state authorities, and sought to strengthen religious education by forming people and communities in the Christian spirit, shaping social attitudes, creating and deepening Christian culture, intellectual development and various forms of charitable activity. Three Catholic Intelligentsia Clubs were established in the Tarnów Diocese: in Nowy Sącz, Tarnów and Mielec.

The article is an attempt to present the model of work of a school counselor. It reviews the approaches to the styles and concepts of school counselors work described so far in the literature. It was assumed that the model is a certain image of reality, its possible shape. In the case of the school counselors, the model refers to the process of educational interactions. It always results from the existing school situation, tasks assigned to the educational psychologist and school counselor, the needs of students, parents and teachers, and the educational environment. Six models of the pedagogue's work were distinguished and described: a tutor and social activist, therapist, creative educator, mentor of children and youth, a pragmatist and coordinator of educational work at school, and an interventionist pedagogue. The presented models of work may constitute a proposal for effective planning of activities undertaken as part of psychological and pedagogical support.

Intensification of cohabitation phenomenon in Poland is commonly discussed i.a. in sociology and media. The exponent of cohabitation is considered to be births outside of wedlock, and the specific indicator should be the percentage of civil unions in the total number of births (National Census). Therefore, the literature on the subject talks about various conditions of this phenomenon, e.g. socio-cultural, economic, individual (even personal). The main goal of this article is an attempt to answer the question: is living in cohabitation nowadays in the Third Polish Republic the result of free choice of an individual in an individualized, like never before society, or is it a necessity- the result of the economic conditions in which he/she lives, due to the fact that she may not always be the creator of her financial situation, and is determined in this area by the requirements of a free market economy, set by the state as an organization of global society?

He Covid-19 pandemic has caused an exponential change in the educational environment. The impact of epidemiological situation has been so powerful, that it can be considered that a new paradigm has been born based on semi-presence as new didactic normality. We witness the new and accelerated context where Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have acquired a greater role than they used to ever have. Under this new perspective, which also involves a strong reflection on the teaching-learning processes, a review of existing technological resources and their functionality at present is proposed. Taking all of this into consideration, during the beginning of the 21st century the technological advances in the field of education have been significant. Management platforms, resources on the Internet, or other media and simultaneous interaction are some of the key tools in a world immersed in a rethinking that goes far beyond a classroom.
