Reliable and up-to-date data on every soil segment of the land areas cultivated for the contemporary land utilization is of vital significance. Currently, the efficient planning and control over the agricultural activities is hardly possible without any reliable and updated information on the yield and agricultural soil types, whereas implementation of drones in the field of land management and in agriculture, on the whole, is one of the most perspective directions, since unlike the artificial sattelites, they provide more precise and guided images for the given location. The aim of the research is to produce the digital field model and NDVI map for the crops by applying Parrot Disco-Pro AG drone kit.

The research has been conducted on “Agroholding” sheep farm, where 860 heads of sheep are bred, 66 % of which are Armenian semi-coarse-wool breed and 34 % are other breeds. Sheep bonitation has been conducted according to their breed, age and productivity characteristics. To improve the qualitative composition of the animal stock, breeding and selection works should be continuously implemented on the mentioned farm. It is recommended to apply such breeding technology which would enable to improve not only the breed’s qualitative composition but also to increase both milk and meat productivity.

In the technology of cottage cheese production the milk fat was completely substituted by milk and vegetable oil emulsion, which had been derived from skimmed milk and olive oil with the ratio of 50:50. The organoleptic, physicochemical and safety indices of the food product have been investigated. The produced cottage cheese can be used in the technology for functional food production due to the large content of useful unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.

It is recommended to introduce electro-mechanical alarm system with new management methods for the adjustments of working parts in the tillers used for the cultivation of inter- trunk spaces in the perennial plantations. It will enable to apply relatively smaller forces (10-12 N instead of 150 N) for the drive of hydro-system. At the same time the improper mechanical impact on the tree trunk will be rejected enabling to use the machines equipped with the mentioned signaling systems in the orchards of all ages with any anatomical and morphological composition.

The use of natural ingredients is one of the ways to handle the problems related to the development of new technology for specialized domestic bakery production, whereas in case of their deficit the complete use of food nutrients becomes rather difficult. So, we have set up a goal to develop a technology for functional biscuit production by using semi-finished fig products and at the same time replacing sugar with sugar substitutes of natural origin and low cost price. Since the production of such food varieties is rather restricted in our country, the new product obtained through the recommended technology would provide an additional opportunity to develop the sector of dietary food production.

The study of the shoe lining in the drum brake mechanism is of paramount importance to evaluate its wear regularity. Thereto, the computational scheme of the drum brake-shoe mechanism has been designed, the calculation formulae of tangential and radial components of the external points displacement in the lining have been analyzed, by means of which their numerical values have been determined, the diagram of the radial displacements has been designed and compared with descriptors of the wear change along the friction lining, according to which they alter with similar regularities.

Based on the epizootological research conducted in eight communities of four Armenian regions the prevalence rate of viral diseases of larva sacbrood and chronic bee paralyses has been determined. High infection rate has been recorded in the Syunik region. The clinical signs of the larvae and bee detected in the infected beehives coincided with the symptoms of the mentioned diseases. Bee deaths can lead to the yield reduction and cause damage to agriculture. Thus, it is necessary to detect the common viral diseases and develop efficient struggling measures.

The grain market is currently being expanded due to the technological development. The new and nontraditional bread types are in great demand now. When applying supplemental raw materials during the research, such as spelt flour and mint extract, fermentation and maturation times are reduced, and high quality, useful bread products with high consumer properties are produced. Besides, no additional technological equipment and investments are required. Thus, the recommended functional bread production technology can be introduced in the production sector.

Formation of a cluster system in the agricultural sector of Armenia could enable to handle the current obstacles in the food value chain and to increase the economic efficiency in grain production. Implementation of the program on introducing a cluster system for cereal crop production in the Shirak region of the RA implies application of efficient branch management systems and innovative technologies in the farm households, targeted resource utilization, provision of competitive environment, as well as increase in the yield capacity and profitability of the cereal crops.
