AbstractIt is known that Intuitionistic fuzzy models give more precision, flexibility and compatibility to the system as compared to the classic and fuzzy models. Intuitionistic fuzzy tree has an important role in neural networks, computer networks, and clustering. In the design of a network, it is important to analyze connections between the levels. In addition, the intuitionistic fuzzy tree is becoming increasingly significant as it is applied to different areas in real life. The study proposes the novel concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy graph (IFG) and some basic definitions. We investigate the types of arcs, for example, $$\alpha _{\mu }$$ α μ -strong, $$\beta _{\mu }$$ β μ -strong, and $$\delta _{\mu }$$ δ μ -arc in an intuitionistic fuzzy graph, and introduce some of their properties. In particular, the present work develops the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy bridge (IFB), intuitionistic fuzzy cut nodes (IFCN) and some important properties of an intuitionistic fuzzy bridge. Next, we define an intuitionistic fuzzy cycle (IFC) and an intuitionistic fuzzy tree (IFT). Likewise, we discuss some properties of the IFT and the relationship between an intuitionistic fuzzy tree and an intuitionistic fuzzy cycle. Finally, an application of intuitionistic fuzzy tree is illustrated in other sciences.

Recently, much attention has been given to the rough set models based on two universes. And many rough set models based on two universes have been developed from different points of view. In this paper, a novel model, that is, rough Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets model over two different universes, is firstly proposed from Atanassov’s intuitionistic point of view. We study some important properties of approximation operators and investigate the rough degree in the novel model. Furthermore, an illustrated example is employed to demonstrate the conceptual arguments of the model. Finally, rough Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets approach to decision is presented in the generalized approximation space over two universes by considering the problem about how to arrange patients to see the doctor reasonably, from which it can be found that the method is valuable and useful in real life.

AbstractDue to the audio information of different types of vehicle models are distinct, the vehicle information can be identified by the audio signal of vehicle accurately. In real life, in order to determine the type of vehicle, we do not need to obtain the visual information of vehicles and just need to obtain the audio information. In this paper, we extract and stitching different features from different aspects: Mel frequency cepstrum coefficients in perceptual characteristics, pitch class profile in psychoacoustic characteristics and short-term energy in acoustic characteristics. In addition, we improve the neural networks classifier by fusing the LSTM unit into the convolutional neural networks. At last, we put the novel feature to the hybrid neural networks to recognize different vehicles. The results suggest the novel feature we proposed in this paper can increase the recognition rate by 7%; destroying the training data randomly by superimposing different kinds of noise can improve the anti-noise ability in our identification system; and LSTM has great advantages in modeling time series, adding LSTM to the networks can improve the recognition rate of 3.39%.

The concept of fuzzy graph (FG) and its generalized forms has been developed to cope with several real-life problems having some sort of imprecision like networking problems, decision making, shortest path problems, and so on. This paper is based on some developments in generalization of FG theory to deal with situation where imprecision is characterized by four types of membership grades. A novel concept of T-spherical fuzzy graph (TSFG) is proposed as a common generalization of FG, intuitionistic fuzzy graph (IFG), and picture fuzzy graph (PFG) based on the recently introduced concept of T-spherical fuzzy set (TSFS). The significance and novelty of proposed concept is elaborated with the help of some examples, graphical analysis, and results. Some graph theoretic terms are defined and their properties are studied. Specially, the famous Dijkstra algorithm is proposed in the environment of TSFGs and is applied to solve a shortest path problem. The comparative analysis of the proposed concept and existing theory is made. In addition, the advantages of the proposed work are discussed over the existing tools.

The article examines the ekphrastic discourse in the novel by R. M. Rilke «The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge» (1910), which is the only prose work of the Austrian poet. When creating his own artistic world, the poet actively turns to the previous culture: this is the biblical philosophical and poetic tradition, medieval motives and images, and the philosophical ideas of the German and Danish philosophers, French literary and visual tradition, Russian spiritual culture and poetry. A special place in the formation of the poetic world of R.M. Rilke is occupied with the works of fine and decorative arts. Ekphrastic discourse is the basis for philosophical and poetic reflections, the starting point in the study of the problem of creativity. Analyzing the novel «The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge», the author of the article refers to the peculiarities of the concept of «thing» in the artistic universe of the poet and traces the relationship and influence of fine art on the formation of the concept of «thing», and also reveals the function of ekphrastic discourse in the poetics of the novel. Ekphrastic discourse, an appeal to works of fine and decorative-applied art in the novel fulfill the roles of both allusions and reminiscences, and serves as the embodiment of the main theme of the work, connected with the inner searches of the protagonist. Thus, works of art are the most important sense-forming elements in the novel. In addition, referring to real-life works of art of the past centuries, the author of the novel gives the hero’s inner search a timeless, universal character.

The picture fuzzy set is an efficient mathematical model to deal with uncertain real life problems, in which a intuitionistic fuzzy set may fail to reveal satisfactory results. Picture fuzzy set is an extension of the classical fuzzy set and intuitionistic fuzzy set. It can work very efficiently in uncertain scenarios which involve more answers to these type: yes, no, abstain and refusal. In this paper, we introduce the idea of the picture fuzzy graph based on the picture fuzzy relation. Some types of picture fuzzy graph such as a regular picture fuzzy graph, strong picture fuzzy graph, complete picture fuzzy graph, and complement picture fuzzy graph are introduced and some properties are also described. The idea of an isomorphic picture fuzzy graph is also introduced in this paper. We also define six operations such as Cartesian product, composition, join, direct product, lexicographic and strong product on picture fuzzy graph. Finally, we describe the utility of the picture fuzzy graph and its application in a social network.

Based on the problems in the novel Pukat and Eliana by Tere Liye, it is necessary to do an analysis that discusses the representation of environmental damage in literary works using ecocritical studies. The selection of studies on the representation of environmental damage in literary works as a focus of research has the following reasons: (1) the reflective representation in the novel Pukat and Eliana by Tere Liye is a real-life description of the problems of the characters in the novel with nature and the surrounding environment. The setting used in the story is the forest in Sumatra; (2) the next ecological problem is intentional representation which is a description of the factors that cause damage to the environment in Sumatra; (3) the constructional representation contained in Tere Liye's Pukat and Eliana novel is an impact that occurs as a result of human activity itself. In research with the object of these two novels using qualitative research. This qualitative research as a research step that produces descriptive data in the form of written words of the object being analyzed. The approach in this analysis is an eco-critic approach because this analysis can be used for research on the representation of environmental damage in literary works. Data collection techniques are basically gathering facts related to research problems. Based on research data sources in the form of texts namely novels titled Trawl and novels titled Eliana by Tere Liye the collection of data of this study uses the techniques of listening and documentation study techniques. Ecocriticism studies the ways in which we describe the relationship between humans and their environment. Ecocriticism is also influenced by modern environmental movements. Greg Garrard explored the development of the modern environmental movement and studied several concepts related to eco-criticism, including: (a) pollution, (b) wilderness, (c) apocalypse, (d) housing/dwelling, (e) animals, and (f) earth. Literature itself grows from the environment of society and the natural environment (ecology), which has a function as a medium of representation, views/reflections on the reality of literature which has an important role in changing social values, shared life values and values of local wisdom.

In recent years, the concept of domination has been the backbone of research activities in graph theory. The application of graphic domination has become widespread in different areas to solve human-life issues, including social media theories, radio channels, commuter train transportation, earth measurement, internet transportation systems, and pharmacy. The purpose of this paper was to generalize the idea of bondage set (BS) and non-bondage set (NBS), bondage number α(G), and non-bondage number αk(G), respectively, in the intuitionistic fuzzy graph (IFG). The BS is based on a strong arc (SA) in the fuzzy graph (FG). In this research, a new definition of SA in connection with the strength of connectivity in IFGs was applied. Additionally, the BS, α(G), NBS, and αk(G) concepts were presented in IFGs. Three different examples were described to show the informative development procedure by applying the idea to IFGs. Considering the examples, some results were developed. Also, the applications were utilized in water supply systems. The present study was conducted to make daily life more useful and productive.

Graph theory has applications in many areas of computer science, including data mining, image segmentation, clustering and networking. Product on graphs has a wide range of application in networking system, automata theory, game theory and structural mechanics. In many cases, some aspects of a graph-theoretic problem may be uncertain. Intuitionistic fuzzy models provide more compatible to the system compared to the fuzzy models. An intuitionistic fuzzy graph can be derived from two given intuitionistic fuzzy graphs using max-product. In this paper, we studied the degree of vertex in intuitionistic fuzzy graph by the max-product of two given intuitionistic fuzzy graph. Also find the necessary and sufficient condition for max-product of two intuitionistic fuzzy graphs to be regular.

Abstract Individuals often evaluate, purchase, and consume brands in the presence of others, including close others. Yet relatively little is known about the role brand preferences play in relationships. In the present research, the authors explore how the novel concept of brand compatibility, defined as the extent to which individuals have similar brand preferences (e.g., both partners prefer the same brand of soda), influences life satisfaction. The authors propose that when brand compatibility is high, life satisfaction will also be high. Conversely, because low brand compatibility may be a source of conflict for the relationship, the authors propose that it will be associated with reduced life satisfaction. Importantly, the authors predict that the effects of brand compatibility on conflict and life satisfaction will depend upon relationship power. Across multiple studies and methodologies, including experimental designs (studies 2, 3, 5) and dyadic data from real-life couples (studies 1, 4, 6), the authors test and find support for their hypotheses. By exploring how a potentially unique form of compatibility influences life satisfaction, including identifying a key moderator and an underlying mechanism, the current research contributes to the literatures on branding, close relationships, consumer well-being, and relationship power.

The minimum spanning tree (MST) problem is a well known optimization problem in graph theory that has been used to model many real life problems, e.g., telecommuni- cations, transportation network, routing and water supply network. The MST problems with deterministic edge costs have been worked intensively and the MST of a connected weighted graph can be determined using many efficient algorithms introduced by outstand- ing scientists. However, in real life scenarios, several types of uncertainties are generally encountered, because of insufficient information, imperfect information, failure or other reasons. In this paper, we concentrate on a MST problem of a undirected connected fuzzy graph in which a intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, instead of a crisp (real) number, is used to each edge as edge weight. We define this problem as intuitionistic minimum spanning tree (IMST) problem. We introduce an algorithmic approach for designing the IMST of a fuzzy. The Bor ̊uvka’s algorithm is a popular greedy algorithm for designing a MST in a graph. Here, we have modified the classical Bor ̊uvka’s algorithm to generate the IMST of fuzzy graph. The water distribution system is the lifeline of any city. We also describe the utility of IMST in a water distribution network. A numerical example is worked out to illustrate our proposed algorithm.
