In the last decade, technology has played a significant part in human civilization. One example of technological advancement is the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool for learning. One digital application, namely Grammarly, is an AI tool used to edit sentences to eliminate grammar errors and deliver conciseness and engagement for the readers. We conducted research involving Indonesian university students, in which they do not possess English as a native language. Using this application to receive feedback and help with learning writing in English, we hope to find out how Grammarly as an AI tool for learning has a significant effect on English proficiency. The results showed that Grammarly had helped them form English sentences, learn grammar rules, and improve their writing performance overall.

This study developed an artificial intelligence- (AI-) enabled mobile application for smart services and measured the impact of its use on the quality of automatic services among Umm Al-Qura University students. The research instruments used measured the quality of automatic services. The results of the research indicated that the application has a number of advantages, including encouraging students to actively participate in the learning process and contribute to effective communication between faculty members and students, in addition to providing multiple methods of communication between students. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05; this indicates that the faculty type variable did not affect the level of satisfaction of Umm Al-Qura University students with the application, and that gender did not affect the level of satisfaction with the mobile application.

As time passes on, machines are becoming more and more complex, fast-processing and intelligent. Being exactly like humans deducting, inferring and making decisions is still away, however some remarkable gains in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and machine learning have been recently recorded. Therefore, the current study seeks to examine strategies for effectively applying artificial intelligence (AI) applications to teach/learn English according to the university students’ point of view. The study adopts the analytical descriptive approach in order to study and analyze the literature, to describe AI and the strategies of its employment for teaching/learning English. A 40-item questionnaire was used. It covers the following fields: AI strategies and its suitable applications for teaching/learning English, the effectiveness of these applications, their practical use, and the requirements for using them in the fields of teaching/learning English. Measuring the validity and reliability of the questionnaire revealed a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.931. The study sample consisted of 44 randomly selected male students from the English language stream at Northern Border University. A set of study instruments was applied. The results revealed a group of strategies suitable for employing AI for teaching/learning English. The results also indicated a very low level of employment of these strategies for teaching/learning English, and pointed out to their effectiveness if used in this field. The study has identified the training requirements from the study sample’s point of view. A suggested plan has been envisioned that includes the basics, objectives, content, processors, and evaluation methods for the employment of AI applications in the field of English education.

The aim of this study was to determine the perceptions of university students about the concept of artificial intelligence. The sample of the research carried out with the screening method consists of 130 fourth grade students studying in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of a university in Eastern Anatolia region in 2018-2019 academic year. 42 students from Faculty of Education, 47 from Faculty of Arts and Sciences and 41 from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences participated in the study. The sample of the study was determined by snowball sampling method. Independent Word Association Test was used as data collection tool. Content analysis was used for data analysis. As a result of the study, it was determined that artificial intelligence perceptions of the students of the Faculty of Education were richer than the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Another important result determined in the study is that the negative perceptions of all sample groups about artificial intelligence concept are more significant than positive perceptions. Giving lectures to university students about current artificial intelligence applications and usage in their fields are among the suggestions of the study.

The student’s political and ideological practices is a vital portion of education, and it is related to optimization of task based on fundamental scenario in establishing morality. In order to establish a scientific, reasonable and operable evaluation model for students’ ideological education, and evaluate the status of college students’ ideological education. In this paper, firstly, in view of the shortcomings of evaluation objectives, single evaluation methods, lack of pertinence of evaluation indicators and subjectivity of evaluation standards in the current evaluation system of university students’ ideological and political education, the basic principles for constructing evaluation models of university students’ ideological and political education are put forward. Secondly, in case to meet changing needs of the times, an artificial neural network algorithm based on artificial intelligence data mining and a traditional multi-layer fuzzy evaluation model are designed to evaluate the ideological and political education of college students. This newly proposed model integrates learning, association, recognition, self-adaptive and fuzzy information processing, and at the same time, it overcomes their respective shortcomings. Finally, an example analysis is carried out with a nearby university as an example. The evaluation results display that the evaluation model of students’ ideological education established in this paper is in good agreement with the previous evaluation results. It fully shows that the comprehensive evaluation model of fuzzy neural network for college students’ ideological and political education established in this paper is scientific and effective.

This study aims to investigate and analyze the use of a new model of teaching physical education in higher learning institutions. Most traditional methods entail the instructor-based approach, which might not be appropriate to derive all the benefits and restore sanity in college and university students’ health status. A new model is thus imminent that will be able to place the student at the center of the entire activity. Self-motivation is the most critical intrapersonal skill needed to ensure continual improvement. Developing a model that will oversee the development of self-motivation is thus essential. In this study, future research was conducted based on the previous literature on the best model for PE. The acquired data were then presented graphically, discussions were derived, and conclusions were ensued.

The present study evaluated the attitude of university students and teachers towards instructional role of artificial intelligence. It was a descriptive study and the researcher used survey approach for data collection. The data was collected from 323 university students and 196 university teachers by using two questionnaires developed (one for students and one for teachers) on five point rating (Likert) scales. Descriptive statistics i.e. percentage was used for data analysis. This study demonstrated positive attitude of university students and teachers towards AI and its instructional role. It appeared to be encouraging for the respondents as well as for the administrators and policy makers. The study suggested higher education institutions to formulate a feasible policy to get benefits of instructional role of AI in higher education.

BACKGROUND Artificial intelligence-generated changes will have a major impact on nursing management. OBJECTIVE To determine the opinions of university students about the effects of artificial intelligence on the future of nursing. METHODS In-depth qualitative interviews were conducted with university students. The study included 12 senior-level students’ participants, who were selected by simple random sampling from different departments of Turkish universities in Istanbul. Data were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis. RESULTS The participants defined artificial intelligence in terms of robots, robotized intelligence, machine learning and personal assistants. The participants listed the effects of artificial intelligence on nursing as a decrease in the number of nurses, a reduced workload for nurses, easier patient follow-up, a decreased margin of error, the use of robots for patient transport, the use of robots to position patients, the use of robots to measure vital signs, and the use of robots in psychomotor skill training. CONCLUSIONS In line with these results, it can be recommended that new subjects on AI and its role in the future of nursing be added to relevant education programs. This study is one of the first qualitative studies involving students in Turkey to be conducted artifical intelligence. Health and nursing policymakers should be develop courses in the curriculum that will increase student awareness of healthcare managers and policymakers researches about artificial intelligence.
