The current trend in the production of information appliances is the human-centred, customer-centred approach, where technology serves human needs invisibly, unobtrusively. The emphasis shifts from the application programs to the users, their tasks and their workplaces, making computation often move off the desktop to become embedded in the world around us. In this scenario the role of the visual interface becomes crucial since, as far as the customer is concerned, the interface is the product. In this paper we briefly survey the most recent results in the field of advanced visual interfaces, with focus on users' needs and ways to serve them.

The paper considers the issue of developing aesthetic needs of a future music teacher in the course of professional training. The author defines notions such as culture, aesthetic culture, aesthetic activity as well as explores the essence of the notion of an aesthetic need of a future music teacher. The paper substantiates the role of art and aesthetic activity as the main factor for aesthetic needs development. The study reveals that there is a reason for the interest to human needs since a large number of branches in material and spiritual culture of society depend on defining the nature of needs and trends in their development. The author emphasises that the functioning of all levels of human life requires needs that would meet human development both physically and emotionally, thus, there should be an aesthetic form of activity because it harmoniously combines both spiritual and functional aspects. The paper substantiates the role of art as the main factor for development of aesthetic needs that can be met in various activities, but it is in art that they find the greatest expression. The author supports the idea that art is a special area of human existence and it combines knowledge and communication, intelligence, a sense of morality, and imagination of people. Involvement of a person in art is a necessary condition for development of aesthetic consciousness since elevation of the spirit and actualization of an essential aesthetic force take place during the process of perception, experience and understanding of works of art. Art integrates a dialogue of a person with the world. Considering the concept of an aesthetic need, the author defines it as an internal need to comprehend certain aesthetic values, development of certain skills, because an aesthetic need is based on aesthetic feelings that are embodied in aesthetic tastes and consist of individual selection of those aesthetic phenomena and objects that best suit views and interests of a person. The paper emphasises that an aesthetic need embodies richness and diversity of spirituality of a person who seeks to fulfill their potential in all fullness of life and if a person has a need for personal fulfillment, they will find the strength and ways to do that. It has been proved that an aesthetic need has semantic and aesthetic properties and has an artistic and perceptual nature, which provides an opportunity to obtain pleasure, enjoyment, joy, delight from beauty. It has been established that the process of perception or direct creativity of art are characterized by a combination of a goal and means, where the means develop into the goal, and the goal is the process itself when spiritual, functional and aesthetic needs of the individual are met, i.e. a person reaches a certain level in their activity when they create products and forms of cultural activity that meet more and more of their needs. The paper outlines that an emerging aesthetic need motivates a music teacher to create conditions and means for achieving satisfaction with their own creative activities, because an aesthetic need is a desire of a future music teacher to harmonize the internal and external world as well as development of aesthetic awareness of the world: to perceive and appreciate the beauty, to live and create according to the laws of beauty.

In Islam, consumption cannot be separated from the role of faith. Faith is an important benchmark because it gives viewpoints that tend to affect the human personality and behaviour. It strongly influences the quantity and quality of consumption in the form of material or spiritual satisfaction, which then shapes the behaviour of market consumption trend. It is certainly in contrast to the principle of the fulfillment of human needs according to a more capitalist economy on the orientation of the material to maximize the production of goods and services to meet human needs. The cornerstone of the philosophy of the capitalist is secularism, separating spiritual and material (or religion and the world) by dikotomis.

The author draws attention to the development of crisis phenomena in most of the developed countries of the world. Possible scenarios for resolving the growing crisis contradictions are briefly analyzed. It is noted that quite serious armed conflicts are not excluded, in which a drop in the standard of living of the population of many countries of the world is inevitable. It is noted that in this scenario, the developed agriculture will contribute to the minimum inevitable losses among the population of those countries that will be involved in the conflict. In a scenario in which armed clashes will not be a serious enough problem for developed countries, there will be a problem of a decrease in the number of the indigenous population of these countries, their replacement by a population with other cultural traditions, or, in general, a critical decrease in population density. The author analyzes the reasons for this phenomenon and comes to the conclusion that it is possible to reverse the current trend by involving the population in the development of agriculture on modern principles.

At a recent meeting of the National Committee for Co-operation with UNESCO in the Natural Sciences, Dr J. Needham, F. R. S. , first Director of the Natural Sciences Section, gave a brief report on the work of the Section. The substance of his report is as follows: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is part of an international plan for the promotion and maintenance of world peace, and in the domain of the Natural Sciences is one of the most effective means of strengthening the ties which bind the peoples of the world together into one human community. To quote the Report on the programme, issued in 1946 by the Preparatory Commission of UNESCO, ‘the material and cultural well-being of the common man everywhere is an essential basis for lasting world peace, and can alone give meaning and content to the promise of the Four Freedoms. But this material and cultural well-being can not be attained without the continued extension of scientific knowledge and its application to human needs throughout the world.’ The progressive and beneficial role of science in society can best be brought home to the public if statesmen ensure that science does play such a role and that all misuse of science is prevented.

One of the most important reasons for such a clearly distressed state of society was the decline of religion as a social force, the external manifestation of which is the weakening of religious institutions. "Religion," Baha'u'llah writes, "is the greatest of all means of establishing order in the world to the universal satisfaction of those who live in it." The weakening of the foundations of religion strengthened the ranks of ignoramuses, gave them impudence and arrogance. "I truly say that everything that belittles the supreme role of religion opens way for the revelry of maliciousness, inevitably leading to anarchy. " In another Tablet, He says: "Religion is a radiant light and an impregnable fortress that ensures the safety and well-being of the peoples of the world, for God-fearing induces man to adhere to the good and to reject all evil." Blink the light of religion, and chaos and distemper will set in, the radiance of justice, justice, tranquility and peace. "
