This research is motivated by the learning result of Social Sciences of Grade VI SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti KotaDumai which is still very low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences students.From the data analysis there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, and student learning result,that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I percentage is 65% (enough) and at meeting 2 increase to 80%(good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increases again to 90% (very good) and at meeting 4 increases to95% (very good). Judging from the student activity also increased from the 1st meeting of cycle I was 60%(enough) and at meeting 2 increased to 70% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increased to 85% (verygood) and at the 4th meeting to 95% (very good). Judging from student learning outcomes, the average basicscore 63 increased to 75 in the first cycle of increase 12 points later in cycle II increased to 95 in cycle II largeincrease of 20 points. From the data analysis there is an increase both from teacher activity, student activity,and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Improved Learning Model concept map can improvethe learning outcomes of IPS students of class VI SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti Kota Dumai.

The purpose of this study was to describe Poetry Writing Skills with the Sentence Model Concept of Class V Students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh in terms of physical elements and inner elements of poetry. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN 23 Payakumbuh City, amounting to 22 students. In collecting data, researchers used performance testing techniques. While in analyzing the steps of the data taken by calculating the raw score the correct answer, the score changes to a value. Data analysis starts from the analysis of each aspect. The procedure for analyzing each aspect, the first to provide an assessment of student work seen from the physical elements and inner elements of poetry. Second, the conversion of scores into values using a percentage formula. Looking for the average value of the classification test results using a scale of 10. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the average results of poetry writing skills using the Concept Sentence concept of class V SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh model are 87 with very good qualifications, in terms of physical elements 86.25 with excellent qualifications, from the inner element is 87.5 with very good qualifications. So, the fifth grade students of SDN 23 Kota Payakumbuh were good at writing poetry using the Concept Sentence model.Keywords: writing, poetry, and model concept sentence

By referring to the European Green Deal, this paper analyzes the “intrinsic value” of cultural heritage by investigating the human-centered adaptive reuse of this heritage. This implies questions such as how to improve the effectiveness of reuse, restoration, and valorization interventions on cultural heritage/landscapes and how to transform a cultural asset into a place, interpreted as a living ecosystem, to be managed as a living organism. The autopoietic characteristic of the eco-bio-systems, specifically focusing on the intrinsic versus instrumental values of cultural heritage ecosystem is discussed in detail. Specifically, the notion of complex social value is introduced to express the above integration. In ecology, the notion of intrinsic value (or “primary value”) relates to the recognition of a value that “pre-exists” any exploitation by human beings. The effectiveness of transforming a heritage asset into a living ecosystem is seen to follow from an integration of these two values. In this context, the paper provides an overview of the different applications of the business model concept in the circular economy, for a better investment decision-making and management in heritage adaptive reuse. Matera case is presented as an example of a cultural heritage ecosystem. To conclude, recommendations toward an integrated approach in managing the adaptive reuse of heritage ecosystem as a living organism are proposed.

AbstractThe paper focuses on new opportunities of knowledge sharing, and comparison, thanks to the circulation and re-use of heritage HBIM models by means of Object Libraries within a Common Data Environment (CDE) and remotely-accessible Geospatial Virtual Hubs (GVH). HBIM requires a transparent controlled quality process in the model generation and its management to avoid misuses of such models once available in the cloud, freeing themselves from object libraries oriented to new buildings. The model concept in the BIM construction process is intended to be progressively enriched with details defined by the Level of Geometry (LOG) while crossing the different phases of development (LOD), from the pre-design to the scheduled maintenance during the long life cycle of buildings and management (LLCM). In this context, the digitization process—from the data acquisition until the informative models (scan-to-HBIM method)—requires adapting the definition of LOGs to the different phases characterizing the heritage preservation and management, reversing the new construction logic based on simple-to-complex informative models. Accordingly, a deeper understanding of the geometry and state of the art (as-found) should take into account the complexity and uniqueness of the elements composing the architectural heritage since the starting phases of the analysis, adopting coherent object modeling that can be simplified for different purposes as in the construction site and management over time. For those reasons, the study intends (i) to apply the well-known concept of scale to the object model generation, defining different Grades of Accuracy (GOA) related to the scales (ii) to start fixing sustainable roles to guarantee a free choice by the operators in the generation of object models, and (iii) to validate the model generative process with a transparent communication of indicators to describe the richness in terms of precision and accuracy of the geometric content here declined for masonry walls and vaults, and (iv) to identifies requirements for reliable Object Libraries.

ABSTRACTA coupled model concept which may be used for performance assessment of a nuclear repository is presented. The tool is developed by integration of two models, one near field and one far field model. A compartment model, NUCTRAN, is used to calculate the near field release from a damaged canister. The far field transport through fractured rock is simulated by using CHAN3D, based on a three-dimensional stochastic channel network concept. The near field release depends on the local hydraulic properties of the far field. The transport in the far field in turn depends on where the damaged canister(s) is located. The very large heterogeneities in the rock mass makes it necessary to study both the near field release properties and the location of release at the same time. In order to demonstrate the capabilities of the coupled model concept it is applied on a hypothetical repository located at the Hard Rock Laboratory in Äspö, Sweden. Two main items were studied; the location of a damaged canister in relation to fracture zones and the barrier function of the host rock. In the study of the near field rock as a transport barrier the effect of different tunnel excavation methods which may influence the damage level of the rock around the tunnel was addressed.

Abstract Compliant mechanisms gain some or all of their mobility from the flexibility of their members rather than from rigid-body joints only. More efficient and usable analysis and design techniques are needed before the advantages of compliant mechanisms can be fully utilized. In an earlier work, a pseudo-rigid-body model concept, corresponding to an end-loaded geometrically nonlinear, large-deflection beam, was developed to help fulfill this need. In this paper, the pseudo-rigid-body equivalent spring stiffness is investigated and new modeling equations are proposed. The result is a simplified method of modeling the force/deflection relationships of large-deflection members in compliant mechanisms. Flexible segments which maintain a constant end angle are discussed, and an example mechanism is analyzed. The resulting models are valuable in the visualization of the motion of large-deflection systems, as well as the quick and efficient evaluation and optimization of compliant mechanism designs.
