The article presents the overview of the main technological processes in fish structured products dehydration. The rational modes of the technological process of minced fish raw materials with various initial moisture and fat content heat treatment are determined. One of the main tasks of the fish processing industry development which allows increasing the profitability of products and their quality is improving technological processes. The scientifically substantiated choice of resource and energy-saving modes of processing food materials is highly important in this case. It will reduce not only production costs but also emissions of harmful substances into the environment and increase the efficiency of using equipment. It must be taken into consideration that the optimization of dehydration technological processes without identifying their patterns is extremely difficult. Increasing efficiency and controlling technological processes makes sense only on the basis of patterns. The effectiveness of the hydrobionts processing determines the quality and cost of finished products manufacturing while fish processing enterprises working. The development and implementation of highly efficient technologies with the use of resource-saving technical systems, for example, using heat pumps, makes it possible to produce cost-effective high-quality products.

Advertisements can be divided into two main groups as analytical and narrative advertisements. Analytical content of an advertisement includes features of products and it addresses to consumers' rationality. On the other hand narrative advertisements focus on to create a story around a brand and addresses to consumers' emotions. This study focuses on the type of narrative advertisement, its development and practices in recent years. The study begins with a general frame of advertising history, a discussion of the distinctions between narrative and analytic modes of processing and transformation of narrative advertising. Narrative advertisements will be inspecting with the terms of narrative 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. The term of narrative 3.0 is the main focus point of this study and it will be explained with the concepts of prosuming, user integration, viral, etc. At the end of the study, as a narrative 3.0 practice, Tru Blood: Revelation will be inspected.

Abstract During the period 8–19 May 1963 a preliminary field investigation was conducted in Greenland to determine the feasibility of using a nuclear technique to determine snow and ice density profiles. A standard nuclear soil-moisture depth probe was used with two modes of processing and recording the nuclear pulses. Example data are compared with snow densities obtained by the standard weighing technique. The nuclear method was found to be feasible; however, deficiencies related to poor resolution render the probe unusable for detailed profiling of snow stratigraphy in its present form, but expected progress in nucleonics should enable improved resolution and accuracy to be achieved by improvement of nuclear detectors.

A series of three exploratory experiments sought to compare and contrast two broad classes of theory pertaining to visual information pick-up. One theoretical approach, exemplified by Keele and Neill (1978) and by Treisman (1977) emphasizes the relatively passive, parallel development of information codes, with subsequent attentional integration of contiguous codes into a percept. Another theoretical approach, exemplified by Broadbent (1977a) emphasizes the relatively active, sequential, recursive interrogation of a visual display in which the pick-up of each piece of information guides the perceptual system in its quest for more information. The manner in which separable attributes of visual information are picked up and combined was studied by manipulating the roles of different attributes in a rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) paradigm. Observers were asked to report the name of a letter in a specified target colour; to report the colour of a specified target letter; to report the colour of a specified target numeral embedded in a list of letters; to report the colour of an unspecified numeral embedded in a list of letters; and to perform the latter two tasks without knowing in which of two alternating spatial positions the target might appear. Examination of the patterns of mis-combinations of attributes from target and non-target stimuli yields evidence both for and against each theoretical position, and suggests that the two might better be considered as modes of processing available to the perceptual system, rather than as intrinsic properties of that system.

The new technology of ensuring efficiency of reducers of construction machines is offered. The technology is based on the application of hardening coatings on the contact surface of the gear teeth. To implement the method, the authors developed an installation for applying hardening coatings by ion implantation. Similar devices used for the application of hard materials in the form of diffusion coatings on hot parts of tooling and machine parts are described. It is shown that the proposed installation has a greater technical and economic efficiency compared to existing analogues. The description of the design and operating principle of the proposed device is presented. The results of experimental researches of efficiency of the offered technology are presented. The modes of processing allowing to achieve the maximum indexes of working capacity are picked up. The conducted researches have shown the efficiency of the offered technology for the details from hard alloys.

Abstract Recent investigation of individual differences in multitasking revealed evidence for individual preferences for modes of task processing (serial vs. overlapping) in a task switching with preview (TSWP) paradigm and different strategies of response organization (blocking, switching, and response grouping) in a free concurrent dual-tasking (FCDT) paradigm. However, this research on individual differences at the levels of cognitive task processing and behavioral response organization has been pursued separately, thus far, by testing independent samples of participants. In the current study, we investigated whether these two levels of task coordination were linked intra-individually. As individuals preferring an overlapping task processing mode can generate time gains particularly at task switches, we predicted that they prefer a switching strategy of response organization. In contrast, individuals preferring a serial processing mode are expected to prefer a blocking strategy to reduce dual-task demands. These predictions were confirmed in an experiment based on n = 70 participants. Indeed, most serial processors preferred a blocking strategy, whereas overlapping processors predominantly preferred to switch between the tasks. This finding suggests a strong correspondence between individual preferences emerging in both aspects of task coordination, which might reflect a common basic difference in the preferred style of cognitive control (flexible vs. persistent). Moreover, in case the preferred modes of task processing and strategies of response organization did not correspond to each other, the overall multitasking efficiency was comparably low. Thus, the distinction between the preferences for both aspects of multitasking seems to be an important aspect of understanding multitasking performance and should be considered in future studies.

The issues of structural changes produced in ceramic materials on the basis of Al2O3and ZrO2(Y2O3) during thermomagnetic processing (B=0.02–1 T) are considered. The contribution of the electromagnetic field to the linear shrinkage of processed ceramic samples has been estimated to be 1–6%. The possibility of using the thermomagnetic processing method for obtaining the disperse and homogeneous structure has been shown. The technological modes of processing under the electromagnetic field are suggested, facilitating self-cleaning and perfecting the crystalline structures of Al2O3and ZrO2(Y2O3), including annealing in the temperature range of 800–1200 °C within 8–12 hours.
