The modern world is impossible without telecommunication technologies, which blur state borders and the distance between people, make mobile and video communication available and allow solving many problems in the field of management, education, and commerce. Each person encounters them on a daily basis, sharing phone calls, checking emails or buying goods from online stores. The general concept of information and communication technologies includes a set of methods, processes and devices that allow you to receive, collect, accumulate, store, process and transmit information encoded in digital form or existing in analog form. The actual problem today is the limited number of land plots for the construction of linear facilities, namely telecommunication networks, and it is one of the main problems in the city due to the rather high density of buildings.

In today’s modern world, globalization has completely changed the way of working. The way we live, learn, work, and even define work has changed due to new information and communication technologies—Hence, it can stated that human capital fuel up the modern economy. In reality, the information and communication technology revolution has turned intelligence into a valuable commodity. In today's economy, economic growth is based on mental intelligence rather than physical strength, and its worth is generated by recruiting knowledgeable workers and continuing to learn. Incorporating information and communication technology (ICT) into vocational and technical education and the educational system in general has a vast range of consequences on teaching and learning.

in the modern world, the problems of improving vocal pedagogy and methodological developments in the field of training future singers and vocal teachers should be considered not only from the point of view of the traditional classical school of singing described in the works of famous scientists, but also together with new information and communication technologies that have already firmly entered various fields of pedagogy and mass culture. It will be a mistake to oppose the fundamental vocal teaching methodology, which gives new generations of students a solid basis for the formation of vocal competencies, new pedagogical approaches in the field of hearing development using modern information and digital technologies. The task of modern methodist scientists is to combine classics and modernity, traditions and innovations in order to form new competencies among vocalist students, future performers and teachers.

Nowadays, the broad Internet utilization and the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have greatly changed the way goods and services are bought and sold. As a consequence, even more online users prefer not only to shop online, but also purchase abroad taking advantage of Internet's limitless feature. Thus, technology's success has stimulated the process of cross-border e-shopping, allowing fast, less costly communication, as well as access to a wider variety of goods and services. The purpose of this consumer-oriented approach paper is to examine the perceptions of Greek Internet users concerning e-shops. In specific, it aims to reveal if there are differences on users' perceptions regarding Greek versus international e-shops, as even more individuals visit non-domestic online stores for their e-purchases. Hence, it provides tangible results to an under-explored area of online shopping and shed light on the difficulty of understanding important aspects of e-shopping behavior; presenting vital implications to both academia and practitioners.

The 21st century has witnessed the advent of Information and communication technology (ICT) as an imperative medium of education to refurbish education by means of efficient, effective and latest way i.e. e-learning. The intention of introducing e-learning in modern world is to open innovation vistas of learning in education and replacing face to face traditional classrooms. Consequently, researches are becoming progressively more interested to observe the proliferation of e-learning across the country. This review intends to present information of the various findings regarding cumulative research work in the domain of e-learning so far. Reviews of nearly 70 articles published in electronic journals in Pakistan and are recognized by HEC during the time period of 2010-2019. The analysis of documented researches reveal that majority of the research literature related to e-learning during early 2010 to late 2014 were primarily focused on computer usage, implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and adoption of e-learning models using research designs such as descriptive, survey and mixed method research whereas the trend shifted towards distance education and e-learning after this time period. The literature review witnessed many researches during 2015 and 2016 after the growing interest of students towards this mode of education. However, the researchers have started giving immense importance to e-learning as the researches begin to publish in social sciences literature in Pakistan during 2017. As far as 2018-2019 is concerned, the relevance and reliance on e-learning have augmented as compared to past because e-learning has broadened its roots and scope whereas researchers show continued interest in this field.

In the fast-changing realities of the modern world arises a new concept of education that defines new educational goals and policies. Conceptually new is the understanding of education as a factor of social and cultural cohesion and as an economic potential. The quality of education is measurable in every aspect and at each of the levels at which it can be operationalized. It is a measurable figure at school, regional, national and international level; there is a social, pedagogical and economic aspect; attribute is to each of the key features of the educational system - resources, functioning, results. The new concept of education requires positive changes in the following areas:- education management - decentralization and guaranteed participation of civil society in the development, implementation and monitoring of education development strategies; planning of enough resources for education;- educational environment - building a tolerant, healthy and secure educational environment that promotes individual development; clearly defined mandatory knowledge and skills; practical direction of educational content; attractive forms of education representing understandable educational content; measurable educational outcomes; widespread penetration of new information and communication technologies;- teaching profession - targeted policies on teacher qualifications and distribution of effective pedagogical practices;- monitoring - creating systems for effective measurement of educational achievements and systems for monitoring the activity of the teacher and the school. The European Quality Report on School Education identifies 16 indicators, divided into four areas, as follows:- achievements - mathematics, reading, science, information and communication technologies, foreign languages, learning skills, civic education;- student progress - dropping out, completing secondary education, entering higher education institutions;- monitoring of school education - evaluation and management of school education;- resources and structures - education and training of teachers covered in pre-school education, number of students per computer, educational costs per student.

Over the last years, the astonishing progress of modern telecommunication networks and the simultaneous spread of the Internet have brought about unprecedented access to a wealth of information and resources. The full development of Internet’s potential to improve access to education and training, and to enhance the quality of learning, is a key prerequisite for building a European (and a global) knowledge society. In particular, not only education but also social cohesion and market competitiveness depend more and more on Europe’s ability to adapt (appropriately) its educational and training systems in order to realize this major challenge (Stewart, 2004). Without any doubt, information and communication technologies (ICT) can offer significant potential for the improvement of education and training (Kruse, 2002; Tsai & Machado, 2002) in several areas, as they can strongly support learning processes through enhanced communication, discovery, simulation, exploration, and problem solving (Ewing & Miller, 2002).

“Creativity is one of the highest forms of human energy. It is a defining human trait that enables us to design and use tools, while giving us the ability to solve problems. In the modern world, creativity and its outcome–innovation–are credited as the greatest predictors for economic advancement, equal to, or surpassing, investments. Creativity can be a vehicle for empowerment and fulfilment or, if denied or abused, it can lead to frustration, apathy, alienation, and even violence. The role of creativity has been magnified by the explosive developments in Information and Communication Technologies. ICTs are the most powerful means to produce, preserve, and communicate the fruits of human creativity, including information, know-how, knowledge, and works of art.” (ICT and Creativity: Towards a global cooperation for quality contents in the Information Society – The Vienna Conclusions 2005)

Intelligent transport systems (ITSs) play a key role in people's daily activities. ITSs significantly improve mobility offering a variety of services to a vast number of users that increase on a daily basis, as more and new services are introduced. These services are based on advanced information and communication technologies (ICTs) and rely strongly on connectivity and computing resources. However, technical vulnerabilities of the technologies used in ITS, as well as the increase in users' awareness has brought security and privacy concerns to the forefront. This article aims at identifying a set of privacy concepts that provide the bases for designing trustworthy ITS services identifying possible threats and users' privacy concerns. A key contribution of the article is a roadmap that presents in detail how for every ITS function corresponding to privacy concepts can be realized for overcoming specific threats and users' privacy concerns in a smart city context.
