In the article various variants of the decision of such acute problem, as shortage of parking places in system of a city infrastructure are considered. The necessity and expediency of constructing high-speed mechanized car parks for cars is caused by the acute problem of temporary and permanent storage of vehicles in the conditions of large cities, in places of intensive human flows such as the central part of the city, supermarkets, railway stations, shopping centers, as well as business centers and residential sector cities. To date, most of the real estate (residential buildings, hotels, offices, shopping and entertainment and multifunctional centers) are built with standard parking spaces. During the operation of such standard parking lots, the developer understands that the number of cars exceeds the number of parking spaces provided in the parking lot. The shortage of parking spaces and free parking areas significantly increases the importance of the construction and arrangement of multi-level parking lots. The system of high-altitude automatic parking lots offers a serious alternative to the generally accepted ideas about parking of vehicles [1].

The paper discusses the main prerequisites for the development of parking lots. The main problems are estimated, the solution of which is the construction of multi-level intercept parking lots. The urgency of the problem is associated with the increasing gas pollution in the city, an increase in the number of accidents, a decrease in the speed of delivery of goods and the availability of parking spaces in the city center. The parking lot is considered, which provides its functions all year round regardless of weather conditions. At the same time, design solutions and materials were selected to minimize financial costs. The use of steel as the main material for supporting structures makes it possible to reduce the cost of construction. Structural columns, vertical ties and beams are made from it. Floor slabs should be made of reinforced concrete on fixed formwork from galvanized corrugated sheet of various grades. When using sheets with a high corrugation, it is possible to create a ceiling without secondary beams. Staircases, stairways and elevator shafts should also be made from reinforced concrete or from concrete blocks in order to achieve the required fire resistance limit corresponding to that required for parking lot. The appearance of the multi-level intercept parking lot meets modern aesthetic requirements and also has a positive effect on the minds of motorists, appearing as part of a comfortable living environment.

The high-speed passenger transport development is one of the most important tasks for the successful functioning of any large or largest city transport system. The modern society of the biggest cities-megalopolises needs a constant increase in the volume of transport communications. This requires an increase in costs to improve the infrastructure of the transport network, turning it into a flexible, highly manageable logistics system. However, this significantly increases the risk of investment, if one does not take into account the patterns of development of the transport network, the distribution of load on its sections. Ignoring these patterns leads to frequent traffic jams (transport congestion), overloading, an increase in the accident rate, and a complete dependence on the cost of oil products. Lack of developed infrastructure for road transport and low-speed public transport significantly hampers economic development. Therefore, a radical increase in public investment in stimulating the urban economy would necessarily include modernization of transport infrastructure. All infrastructural activities should be carried out on the territory of the country – thereby creating new jobs and strengthening the industry. Well-chosen infrastructure projects that provide conditions for economic development for decades and for many generations represent the best use of public debt capital. For creation in large cities of Ukraine, especially with difficult climatic and geological conditions, with difficult climatic and geological conditions, as well as with a poorly developed highway system, a new overhead electric high-speed passenger, economy and environmentally friendly, transport, with cabins, is proposed. To organize the safe movement of controlled crews with passengers, the theory of saturated traffic flows was used, which describes the movement of crews in a stream as a continuous change in the states of acceleration, uniform movement and braking, i.e. synchronized three phases «start-go-stop» in one control algorithm.

In the contemporary world, due to the rapid growth of cities and the population as a whole, the number of personal vehicles is increasing. But at the same time, the infrastructure, especially in the old areas of towns, is not being modernized, and in such areas parking is not provided at all or is not designed for an ever-increasing number of cars. Due to the lack of parking spaces, drivers often leave their cars on the edge of the roadway, thereby reducing even more the already small capacity of the road. Also, especially in large cities, a common reason for such parking is the high cost of parking, low level of service and security, and the long time of the vehicle parking process itself. This article examines the experience of foreign countries in solving the problem of parking along the roadway: what technologies are used to create parking lots, what tasks are set by designers to achieve the best result and improve the urban environment. The authors cite the works of Russian companies engaged in the design of parking lots, and note what tasks Russian companies set themselves. The differences between the approaches of Russian designers and their foreign colleagues to the problem of parking are also presented. The article analyzes the locations of objects that Russian design companies have worked on, the situation with parking in large cities and in smaller ones. Taking into account the peculiarities of parking design in Russia, the article suggests a way to improve the situation with spontaneous parking – the introduction of automated control systems. The advantages of implementing automated systems both on the part of the car owner and on the part of the parking lot owner are described.

This article is devoted to the study of the most urgent problem of large megacities such as acute shortage of free areas and an acute shortage of parking spaces. Modern methods of solving this problem are considered, foreign experience is learned and practical examples of mechanized multi-level parking in different countries. Currently, most of the residential property, as well as hotels and business centers are being built with standard parking spaces. During the operation of such parking lots, the developer understands that the number of parking spaces provided is significantly less than the number of cars that want to leave their car in the parking lot. The shortage of free parking spaces and parking spaces for parking lots significantly increases the importance of building and arranging multi-level parking lots. The system of high-altitude automatic parking lots offers a serious alternative to the generally accepted ideas about parking of vehicles.

Introduction. The problems of congestion, ecology, and road safety in most of Russia’s major cities have been accumulated in the paper. Strategic planning documents aimed at updating the gene plan, improving the transport and route network, improving traffic safety, improving environmental performance and accessibility for people with disabilities are sent for such important problems solution. The paper presents the results of the scientific research conducted in large cities of Russia. Moreover, the review of the literature is presented, and the achievements of foreign science are taken into account.Materials and methods. Modern approaches to improving the system of public transport are given, the efficiency of high-speed transport modes, the organization of transport services for the disabled and low-mobility groups, traffic safety, ecology, and the implementation of the “Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030” are approved. As a criterion for the efficiency of improving the transport infrastructure, the level of its loading by various modes of transport is used.Results.The problems of influence of the city form on the formation of the transport frame, of the density of settlement and of the efficiency of urban development are considered. New methods of predicting the transport demand of the population, the level of the transport systems’ development and assessing accessibility are proposed. Therefore, the developed algorithms and recommendations for reducing the volume of transport infrastructure helps to improve its performance and availability. Such effect is achieved through the redistribution of transport and passenger flows between different modes of transport.Discussion and conclusion. The authors comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to improve the regulatory and methodological base of the transport industry constantly, improving the performance of the transport infrastructure of modern cities.

The work is aimed at studying the intensity of roads in the Republic of Kazakhstan (for example, Almaty-Kapshagai-Taldykorgan highway) and improving the traffic management system. The development of a single economic space of the country largely depends on the level of development of transport infrastructure in each region. In this regard, the need to strengthen the interaction of central and local executive bodies on issues of state regulation of transport activities, while maintaining the trend of balanced development and decentralization of the transport system of the regions is particularly relevant. The analysis also shows that several measures can be taken to improve traffic management. The issues under consideration are devoted to topical problems of the development of a network of highways, which ensures the integrity of the territory of the largest cities and their zones of influence. The issues of the complex interrelation of urban planning factors, social and functional requirements that affect the degree of the necessary development of the network of the main structure-forming highways in the development of master plans of cities, planning projects of agglomerations, schemes of territorial planning of interconnected systems of settlements are considered. A method is proposed for the approximate development of the main network of highways formed by streets and high-speed roads. Modified classification of streets and roads in large cities is proposed, as well as a model for the planning organization of a single network of highways of cities and interconnected settlement systems, considering the modern requirements of sustainable development of urbanized territories and the growing level of motorization. The effectiveness of the proposals is illustrated by specific examples of domestic cities. For employees of scientific and design organizations engaged in the design and prospective development of main streets and roads in large and large cities, in urban agglomerations and areas of their influence. The methodological basis of the work was the results of fundamental and applied research in the field of vehicle operation in order to determine the main directions for increasing energy efficiency by improving the traffic management system. The solution to these problems requires to a large extent not only scarce financial, material, labor and other resources, but also the development of information technologies in the road industry. There is an urgent need for qualitative changes at all stages of collection, processing and ordering of information, at all stages of the continuous spiral of life cycles of the development of both the road itself and its structures - surveys, design, construction, operation and again surveys for design, reconstruction, repair, etc. The article considers the problems of the Almaty-Kapshagai-Taldykorgan highway and ways to solve them in the geographic information system.

High residential living in Malaysia has not been widely given a significant emphasises in literature despite its increasing scale and significance in the real estate market. The significance of high rise is mainly due the increasing rate of migration from rural to urban. It is estimated a total of 77.2 percent of the Malaysian population lived in urban areas in 2020. Approximately, 30 percent of this urban population lives in strata housing. These percentages are predicted to continue to increase in the future. The emergence of high residential building has been argued as confronting various problems which has considerable impact on this life style. Satisfaction is an important outcome of living in one’s dwelling, although it is not the only consideration. High residential building in Malaysia encountered numerous problems in term of management aspects, legislation aspects, and residents’ satisfaction. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the tenants’ satisfaction living in high residential buildings in Klang Valley. The questionnaires survey is conducted amongst 276 tenants at low cost and medium cost HRB using random sampling in HRB located at areas under jurisdiction Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ), Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA), Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ), Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS) and Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ). The result from this study shows that tenant in medium cost residential building are more satisfied in term of facilities and management as compared to tenants in low cost residential building. Tenants also not disclosed to the existing act and procedure related to high residential building. In conclusion, this study suggested the Local Authority to emphasise the role of tenant. These recommendation hopefully will increase the level of satisfaction amongst the residents in HRB.

Research objective: studies of economic and transport infrastructure development in the Arctic and Northern Territories of Russia. Research methodology: analysis of transport infrastructure in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the types of railways used in Russia. Results: economic development of any region is proportional to the development of the road transport infrastructure and logistics. When a conventional railway is operated in the Arctic conditions, it is not always possible to maintain a cargo turnover that would ensure its efficient use, and transshipment from one mode of transport to another is very problematic. A new type of railway is proposed, i.e. a light railway. Conclusions: the proposed new type of transport offers all the main advantages of narrow gauge railroads (high speed of construction, efficiency, etc.) and helps to eliminate their main disadvantage, i.e. the need for transloading when moving from a narrow gauge to the conventional one with the width of 1520 mm, along with a significant reduction in capital costs.
