A crisis presents a severe challenge for every company, particularly, when it has ethical implications. Previous research has shown how the presentation of a crisis in the media can negatively affect corporate image. After surviving such a crisis, its adverse connotations may resurface years later in the minds of stakeholders, for example, through a feature film. The consequences of how a crisis re-emergence affects corporate identity, especially in the digital age of media proliferation, is not yet sufficiently understood. Hence, this paper outlines how a crisis reemergence impacts on corporate image through a detailed literature review and the discussion of a case. This paper shows the need to appreciate differences between UGC (user generated content, outside company control), and official news media (potentially manipulable) in relation to corporate reputation management, and consequently, the importance of targeted image restoration in light of crisis re-emergence.

New media includes many spaces in the internet environment including social media, news media, shopping sites, official and private institution/organization applications. Users make their daily lives more manageable in terms of time and space while benefitting from the specified new media platforms/tools whereby they may also consciously or unconsciously get some conditions. Currently, there exists a contemporary condition called 'digital paranoia' that people can experience when using new media platforms and tools. Digital paranoia, which refers to a form of extreme skepticism regarding new media platforms and tools, is based on different concerns and anxieties such as being spied on, wired, and controlled. This study, which is written based on a literature review, focuses on defining the concept of digital paranoia. Additionally, new media and some conditions occurring due to new media are also analyzed in the study. This study aims to raise awareness of digital paranoia and offer some constructive suggestions to new media users.

Every month, millions of people read about climate change on Wikipedia. However, the information is often outdated and written by non-experts with strong opinions, such as climate activists and climate contrarians. Based on my six years of experience of writing on Wikipedia, I’ve come to the conclusion Wikipedia that is an undervalued piece of the science communication landscape.

Wikipedia as a medium enjoys high levels of trust compared to traditional news media, at least in the UK. It is built by a game of consensus building and negotiation between people with differing views. I will distill the experiences I have had on effective collaboration with non-experts who expose complexity in my explanations, dealing with those in denial of climate change and more recent examples of the presence of climate activism.

For me editing has also been useful for my research, and I believe the same will be true for other experts,. As writing for Wikipedia is very similar to carrying out a literature review, it is especially worthwhile for early career scientists or others venturing into new topic. It has often helped me to better put my own research into context. Rewording scientific literature for a broad public allows for a better appreciation of the material as well. A further validation can be obtained by submitting your Wikipedia article as a scientific paper to various WikiJournals.

ABSTRACT This article intends to report how the work of the agencies of fact-checking can help informative companies in the fight against false news, with their data-checking methodologies in order to encourage the transparency of the journalistic process. Computerized auditory training (CAT) is a convenient, low-cost approach to improving communication of individuals with hearing loss or other communicative disorders. A number of CAT programs are being marketed to patients and audiologists. The present literature review is an examination of evidence for the effectiveness of CAT in improving speech perception in adults with hearing impairments. Six current CAT programs, used in 9 published studies, were reviewed. In all 9 studies, some benefit of CAT for speech perception was demonstrated. Although these results are encouraging, the overall quality of available evidence remains low, and many programs currently on the market have not yet been evaluated. Thus, caution is needed when selecting CAT programs for specific patients. It is hoped that future researchers will (a) examine a greater number of CAT programs using more rigorous experimental designs, (b) determine which program features and training regimens are most effective, and (c) indicate which patients may benefit from CAT the most.
