This paper established a high-speed tracked vehicle dynamics model, and simulated the transient response of sprocket when the vehicle is running at 60km/h on the D class road. the finite element model of the single tooth in mesh is established in Ansys and the rigid-flexible coupling model of "trackboard- sprocket" is established in RecurDyn. The dynamic stress and strain fringe of the sprocket’s gear ring is achieved by analysis. Simulation results show that the stress of tracked vehicle sprocket gear root and the fixed gear bolt hole is larger, and the stress concentration is detected at the edge of contacted tooth. The simulation results provide the calculation basis for the optimization of the high-speed tracked vehicle system and its lifespan prediction.

Based on the resource allocation method of bipartite graph projected to one-mode graph, the bipartite graph network is established using six evaluating comfortableness indices and seven subsystems of high-speed train as the vertices. Our research shows that: This method can be used to find out the key factors which have high influence on the high-speed trains comprehensive comfortableness; also its ratio can be obtained. The overall quality of the high-speed train also can be forecasted by this method if the seven subsystems performance indices are given. Meanwhile, the interacting dependency level among the indices can be obtained.

The industrial Ethernet technology has been gradually applied to the high-speed train. However, different network topologies can have big impact on the quality of communication. The real-time and reliability performances of the high-speed train to which three kinds of network topology structures of the linear, the ring and the ladder are applied based on industrial Ethernet are analyzed in theory according to IEC61375(2009). Four kinds of application data are built to modify the data transmission in this paper. The three structures are simulated with the OPNET modeler. Afterwards, the network performances are compared in the simulation. At last, a conclusion that the performance of the ladder network structure is superior to that of the linear and the ring network structure is drew. The results of the study could provide the reference value of the construction and majorization of the network topology structure based on the industrial Ethernet.

The vibration data of the gearbox on a high-speed train was measured, and the vibration characteristics were analyzed in this paper. The dynamic stress of the gearbox under the internal and external excitation was examined by a railway vehicle dynamic model with a flexible gearbox and a flexible wheelset. The ideal 20th polygonal wear was considered, and dynamic stresses of the gearbox under different polygonal wear amplitudes were calculated. The gear transmission model was established to study the dynamic stress of the gearbox under the influence of the time-varying stiffness of the gear meshing. Based on the rigid–flexible coupling model, and considering the influence of wheel polygonization, gear meshing time-varying stiffness, and wheelset elastic deformation, the dynamic stress of the gearbox was investigated with consideration of the measured polygonal wear and measured rail excitation. The results show that the dynamic stress of the gearbox is dominated by the wheel polygonization. Moreover, not only the wheel polygonization excites the resonance of the gearbox, but also the flexible deformation of the wheelset leads to the deformation of the gearbox, which also increases the dynamic stress of the gearbox. Within the resonant bandwidth of the frequency, the amplitude of the dynamic stresses in the gearbox will increase considerably compared with the normal case.

The technology of lightening manufacture for aluminum alloy train body is one key of manufacturing high-speed train . The train body is a whole bearing loading tubular structure which is welded together by the large, hollow, thin-walled aluminum extrusion. Therefore, the demand for welding quality of aluminum alloy train body is very high, and the mechanical properties of joints severely affected the overall strength of welded components. To solve this problem ,we use the 421 EXPERT forceArc MIG of PHOENIX series of German EWM company to perform three types of experiments of single pulse, double pulse, and forceArc welding ,and then effect of three welding methods on mechanical properties of Welding joint for 5083 aluminum alloy used in high-speed train body is compared.

The stability and reliability of the shift friction plate are the main condition to guarantee the normal working for the planetary gearbox. But the failures of the friction plate, such as fracture or broken plastic deformation, often appear during the real vehicle testing process. Currently, most studies focus on chemical composition analysis and fracture analysis for the fractured friction plate, but less study for shock damage. In this paper, we develop a multi-body dynamic model, a finite element model and a rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model to analyze and compare the vibration characteristics of the friction plate with three different support forms. The variation law of the impact force and frequency can be obtained for the tooth portion of the friction plate with different support forms. Finally, it can provide theoretical guidance for studying the failure of friction plate at high speed. Keywords: Friction Plate; Rigid-flexible Coupling; Vibration Characteristics

For the high speed train, safety is the most important factor. Flash welding is the primary technology for the seamless line rail in Chinese railway. So the quality of the flash welded joints is the most important. This paper presents the situation of joint fracture in rail flash welding joints and analyses the failure mechanism through macroscopic and microscopic observation. The result demonstrate that the cracking of the rail is fatigue-crack propagation, the fatigue cracking is caused by alumina calcium-Aluminates-non-metallic inclusion.
