Graft detachment is the most common complication of endothelial keratoplasty. With the ongoing advancements in the field of endothelial keratoplasty, our understanding of risk factors of graft detachments and its management has been evolving. Various prevention measures have been described in literature including presoaking the donor graft, anterior chamber tamponade, venting incisions, sutures to prevent dislocation of graft. Management of a detached graft involves secondary interventions such as rebubbling, suturing and regrafts. In this review, we discuss graft detachment in different types of endothelial keratoplasty techniques including Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty, Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty and Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty; with emphasis on incidence, risk factors, preventive measures and their management.

In pediatric care, self-awareness of care object whose cooperation degree of care is not high is weak, exacerbated by the drugs used, testing equipment and technical level of nurses, professional ethics and many other factors, the risk factors for pediatric care throughout the children are always admitted. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen understanding of the risk factors for pediatric care and take effective preventive measures. This article analyzes the major risk factors focused on pediatric care and presents preventive measures accordance with different types of risk factors, in order to control and eliminate the risk factors and avoid the risk of incidents, ensure the safety of children, and provide reference for maintenance hospitals and medical staff image.

Median sternotomy remains the most frequent access in cardiac surgery, while postoperative sternomediastinitis is one of the most serious complications of transsternal access. The article analyzes the preoperative factors for the development of complications, including concomitant pathology, constitutional features, bad habits, length of hospital stay, and urgency of the operation. It was also noted that intraoperative factors consist of technical errors in the operation, intraoperative features of the course of surgical intervention, the nature of the choice of shunt during myocardial vascularization and the completion of the operation. Postoperative risk factors include the management of the postoperative period in cardiac patients, that can lead to complications. The analysis of preventive measures taken by cardiac surgeons in the development of complications is presented.

Cervical Cancer is considered the fourth most common female malignancy worldwide and represents a major global health challenge. As a result, in recent years, various proposals and researches have been conducted. This study aims to analyze the data presented in current researches regarding cervical cancer and contribute to future research, all through the framework of literature review, based on 3 research questions: Q1: What are the risk factors that cause cervical cancer? Q2: What preventive measures are currently established for cervical cancer? and, Q3: What are the techniques to detect cervical cancer? Findings show that detection techniques are complementary since they are categorized under machine learning. Therefore, we recommend that further study be promoted in these techniques as they are helpful in the detection process. In addition, risk factors can be considered for a greater scope in detection, such as HPV infection, since it is the most relevant factor for the development of cervical cancer. Finally, we suggest to conduct further research on preventive measures for cervical cancer.

In our previous study Survey 1, we found infection prevention behaviors were characterized by health literacy and found to be divided into six segments: "majority/social defense”, “self-judgment/self-protection”, "threat denying”, "hoax affinity/optimism," "vigilance/self-protection”, and "hyper-vigilance/social defense”.The purpose of this study is to examine the real-life influences and behaviors of different types of health literacy. The 3,800 respondents to Survey 2 were asked to answer again, and the 3,000 who responded were targeting in the study. In the result, we found that "majority/social defense" and "hyper-vigilance/social defense" were lowered in their visits to the hospital for the purpose of prevention and visitation. In addition, the intention to vaccinate was lower for "hoax affinity/optimism" and "Threat denial”. Furthermore, "Threat denial" was the highest that respondents thought vaccines were unnecessary. This study revealed there were two potential high-risk factors in the life under infectious disaster. In the first, it is suggested that early detection of serious diseases may be delayed, resulting in a higher health risk than having an infectious disease. In the second, it is suggested that "hoax affinity/optimism" and "threat-denying" segments may be less likely to be vaccinated, and it is considered the segments needed the highly supports when infection prevention measures would be promoted.

33 Background: At least a third of all cancer cases are preventable. Prevention offers the most cost-effective long- term strategy for the control of cancer; especially in resource deprived areas of the world. Tobacco is the single largest preventable cause of cancer in the world today. Dietary modification is another important approach to cancer control. Infectious agents are responsible for almost 22% of cancer death in the developing world and 6% in industrialized countries. This number is on the rise as result of HIV/AIDS pandemic, life style change and malnutrition. Residents constitute a very important arm of specialized cares in tertiary health institutions. They are the “gate-keepers” who are often the first to come in contact with patients that will benefit from cancer preventive measures. The purpose of this study is therefore, to examine the awareness, attitude and practice of cancer prevention by residents. Methods: Randomly selected residents from the major clinical oncology departments answered questionnaire that addressed these cancer prevention domains; awareness of behavioral modification and early screening, discussing cancer prevention with patients, and participating in screening for common cancer risk factors. Results: 77 out 100 questionnaire distributed were completed and returned; 77% response rate. 97% of the respondents are aware of cancer preventive measures but only 73% of these discussed the measures with patients. 9% of the respondents do not advise patient to quit smoking/not to smoke, only 22% advocate protection against sun, 23% do not advocate for early screening, and only 25% of the respondents themselves are screened for any of the common cancer risk factors while 74% are not. Conclusions: There is significant awareness of cancer prevention measures but not all put this knowledge to practice. Only a quarter of the respondents are themselves screened. Further studies are needed to determine interventions that can improve resident's attitude to cancer prevention in resource deprived economy with rising prevalence of cancer. With improved training opportunities for cancer control among professionals, more cancers will be diagnosed via early screening and detection. No significant financial relationships to disclose.
