Company Profile sebuah perusahaan merupakan sebuah media yang memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menunjukkan eksistensinya di dalam berbagai bidang dunia bisnis. Perkembangan dunia teknologi informasi menuntut untuk selalu memberikan sesuatu yang lebih nyaman dan mengedepankan user experience. Metode TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) merupakan salah satu metode yang tepat dalam merancang dan membangun sistem yang user friendly dalam meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna pada user experience. Dengan mengimplementasikan konstruk-konstruk TAM yang meliputi PU (Perceived Usefulness), PEOU (Perceived Ease of Use), ATU (Attitude Toward Using), BITU (Behavioral Intention to Use) dan AU (Actual Use) maka dapat dipastikan akan meningkatkan tingkat kenyamanan user experience melalui interface yang baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna informasi.

This study investigates factors that influence the acceptance and use of e-Services. The research model includes factors such as user experience, user motivation, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use in explaining the process of e-Services acceptance, use, and continued use. The two core variables of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, are integrated into the Electronic Services Acceptance Model (E-SAM).

This chapter addresses the issue of tablets acceptance for studying. An experiment was carried out to test the effects of specific studying tasks experienced by students with no previous experiences with tablets on the perceived usability and usefulness of tablets. Students had to perform a high-compatible task (i.e. navigation/reading task) and a low-compatible task (i.e. writing task) for tablets. Subjective measures of usability, usefulness and use intention were designed to be more specific to the type of task than the classical measures used in the Technology Acceptance Model approach (Davis, 1989). Participants rated their answers before and after performing the tasks with a tablet. The results showed that the perceived usability and usefulness of tablets increased after the high-compatible task while their decreased with the low-compatible task. The findings stressed the need to consider the real user experience and to use more task-oriented measures to investigate the acceptance of mobile devices for studying.

AbstractThis paper presents experience-oriented aspects of the development of wearable assistive devices (exoskeletons) for industrial purposes, an area which has only begun to be explored. Our research aims to examine user acceptance criteria for assistive devices and understand the meaning of interaction with wearable assistive devices for the users. The resulting models deliver new insights about the importance of user experience for technology acceptance and should be generally considered in development processes of wearable assistive devices.

Abstract Consumer behaviour analysis is a key aspect for the success of e-business. The main objective of the study is to analyse the impact of selected user experience factors on e-commerce web site visiting (technology). The objective of the study is to create a model that will explain the impact of each major factor on the user experience and the re-visit of the e-shop. To explain the use of e-commerce technology, in the second part we have modified the original technology acceptance model (TAM) with other constructs. Specifically, there are modern technologies such as social networks or mobile apps that affect the use of e-shops. The TAM model is one of the most used models of what the system uses to identify the perceived usefulness and perceived simplicity of use from the user’ side. For the main advantage of our study, we consider that we have highlighted the importance of the factor of modern technology and therefore of social networks, mobile applications and contextual advertising. This factor, along with the other two factors, has been incorporated into our model and has shown that modern technologies have a direct impact and are therefore directly related to the frequency using the e-commerce websites.

Frailty predisposes older persons to adverse events, and information and communication technologies can play a crucial role to prevent them. CAPACITY provides a means to remotely monitor variables with high predictive power for adverse events, enabling preventative personalized early interventions. This study aims at evaluating the usability, user experience, and acceptance of a novel mobile system to prevent disability. Usability was assessed using the system usability scale (SUS); user experience using the user experience questionnaire (UEQ); and acceptance with the technology acceptance model (TAM) and a customized quantitative questionnaire. Data were collected at baseline (recruitment), and after three and six months of use. Forty-six participants used CAPACITY for six months; nine dropped out, leaving a final sample of 37 subjects. SUS reached a maximum averaged value of 83.68 after six months of use; no statistically significant values have been found to demonstrate that usability improves with use, probably because of a ceiling effect. UEQ, obtained averages scores higher or very close to 2 in all categories. TAM reached a maximum of 51.54 points, showing an improvement trend. Results indicate the success of the participatory methodology, and support user centered design as a key methodology to design technologies for frail older persons. Involving potential end users and giving them voice during the design stage maximizes usability and acceptance.

BACKGROUND Teleguidance, a promising telemedicine service for intraoperative surgical consultation, was planned to scale up between a major academic hospital in partnership with five other hospitals. If the service was adopted and used over time, it was expected to provide educational benefits and improve clinical outcomes during Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatografy (ERCP), which is a technically advanced procedure for biliary and pancreatic disease. However, it is known that seemingly successful innovations can play out differently in new settings, which might cause variability in clinical outcomes. In addition, few telemedicine services survive long enough to deliver system level outcomes, causes of which are not well understood. OBJECTIVE We were interested in factors related to usability and user experience of the telemedicine service which might come to affect adoption. We therefore wanted to investigate perceptions and responses to use and/or anticipated use of a system. Technology acceptance, a construct referring to how users perceive a technology’s usefulness, is commonly considered to indicate whether a new technology will actually be used in a real-life setting. Satisfaction measures are used to investigate whether user expectations and needs have been met through the use of technology. In this study, we asked surgeons to rate the perceived usefulness of teleguidance, and their satisfaction with the telemedicine service in direct conjunction with real-time use during clinical procedures. METHODS We designed domain-specific measures for perceived usefulness and satisfaction, based on performance and outcome measures for the clinical procedure. Surgeons were asked to rate their user experience with the telemedicine service in direct conjunction with real-time use during clinical procedures. RESULTS 142 remote intraoperative consultations were conducted during ERCP procedures at 5 hospitals. The demand for teleguidance was more pronounced in cases with higher complexity. Operating surgeons rated teleguidance to have contributed to performance and outcomes to a moderate or large extent in 111/140 (79.3%) of the cases. Specific examples are that teleguidance was rated as having contributed to intervention success and avoiding a repeated ERCP in 23 cases, avoiding 3 PTC, 11 referrals and in 11 cases, combinations of these outcomes. Pre-procedure beliefs about the usefulness of teleguidance were generally lower than post-procedure satisfaction ratings. The usefulness of teleguidance was mainly experienced through practical advice from the consulting specialist (119/140, 85%) and support with assessment and decision-making (122/140, 87%). CONCLUSIONS Users’ satisfaction with teleguidance surpassed their initial expectations, mainly by contributing to non-technical aspects of performance, through help with general assessment. Teleguidance shows the potential to improve performance and outcomes during ERCP. However, it takes hands-on experience for practitioners to understand how the new telemedicine service contributes to performance and outcomes. CLINICALTRIAL N/A

Abstract With the acceleration of fintech innovations, the use of alternative payment methods has continued to increase globally. Generation Z and Y consumers are the highest adopters of these alternative payment methods, yet despite this, there is limited research examining their motivations and intentions for using alternative payment methods. This literature review aimed to address this gap through the evaluation of relevant quantitative empirical research by utilizing The Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) for its theoretical. The findings indicated that generation z and Y consumers adoption of alternative payment methods are driven largely by behavioural intention, wherein using the UTAUT model, finds a common positive effect across all five variables. Nevertheless, current literature fails to address how Covid-19 restrictions influenced this adoption and as such further primary research post-lockdown is recommended.

Wearable motion sensors with built-in accelerometers have been deployed for gait assessment. This study aims at exploring gait patterns between younger and older adults using a motion-sensing system and exploring sensor technology acceptance among participants. The motion-sensing system was formed by a smart bracelet, an Android application, and a website based on Microsoft Azure. The study employed quasi-experimental, nonexperimental, and qualitative design. A total of 28 younger and 28 older adults were recruited. The gait assessment result indicated that the root mean square (RMS) acceleration increased significantly as the walking pace increased based on the right ankle sensor. Older participants usually presented a lower magnitude of acceleration patterns in the anteroposterior and mediolateral direction compared with the younger participants, while the stride regularity and variability were not significantly different between younger and older participants. User evaluation indicated that the user experience of the motion-sensing system could be further enhanced by providing feedback on the smart bracelet display, generating an analysis report on the gait visualization website, and involving family members in data sharing for older adults. Study findings demonstrated that it is feasible to use portable motion-sensing methods to measure gait characteristics among Chinese adults. Suggestions proposed through user evaluation could be of value to improve the user experience of the motion-sensing system.
