Tibetan chess, a traditional Chinese ethnic sport, is a treasure of Tibetan culture. It takes various forms, adopts different playing methods, and involves a simple suite of equipment to interest people and impart wisdom. In order to study the positive impact that Tibetan chess exerts on students’ sports accomplishment, cognition, interest, intelligence, inheritance, and changes in their awareness of the protection of traditional sports in western Tibetan areas, this study uses correlation and single factor analysis to compare relevant indicators and dimensions. At the same time, it constructs regression models and path models for teaching experiments, investigations, and analyses. Research shows that the learning of Tibetan chess has obvious and significant influence on promoting students’ sports accomplishment in western Tibetan areas. Further research finds that the traditional sports of ethnic minorities, combined with the development of Tibetan chess and students’ sports accomplishment, establish the cognition of traditional sports culture, cultivate lifelong sports awareness, and allow students to enjoy the physical and mental education brought by ethnic cultures.

The current study was heading for determining the impact of Pakistani university students’ socioeconomic classes on their personality traits. Demographic and personality questionnaires were filled by available university students online. The stepwise regression technique facilitated to generate regression models to define impacts of different socioeconomic classes on students’ different personality traits. Different regression models highlighted the significant negative impacts of the middle upper socioeconomic class on Agreeableness, Extraversion and Neuroticism personality traits. The lower socioeconomic class was found to have positive impact on only one personality sub-trait self-discipline. Whereas, the upper lower socioeconomic class caused positive impacts on students’ trust sub-trait, Conscientiousness trait and negative impact on excitement seeking sub-trait of personality. The importance of these impacts of socioeconomic classes on different personality traits and the possible implications are discussed with respect to university students’ academic performance and academic behaviour.

In this paper through simulation a single factor analysis and research four parameters of Self-propelled high Spray Machine steel stamping forming ,including die gap(), die radius(r), friction coefficient(f) and drawbead height(h), on the impact of sheet forming. Considering the defects of steel forming in the actual production, the most important parameters is determined and four parameters and three level orthogonal experiments are carried out. The drawbead height (h) is the most important parameter affecting in steel forming that should be strictly controlled in the actual production. The die gap () is secondary. The die radius (r) and the friction coefficient (f) affect the least. In order to improve the quality of stamping, the3r2f3h3 process combination should be adopted, which provided some theoretical guidance in actual production

Objectives For a long time, scholars have been concerned about the impact of manager and team characteristics on corporate performance or corporate value, and the spread of COVID-19 forces us to consider the impact of manager characteristics on accounting conservatism. Methods This paper selects the financial data of 34 public coal companies from 2015 to 2019 as the research sample, establishes the measurement model of accounting conservatism based on Basu model to evaluate the accounting conservatism of public coal companies, and uses three regression models to study the impact of managers' age, education level and tenure on the accounting conservatism of companies. Results The results show that accounting conservatism is common in public coal companies, and the average value of C-score is greater than 0 for five consecutive years. Conclusions Furthermore, the empirical results show that the regression coefficients of age and tenure of managers are 0.0224 and 0.0035, respectively, which indicates that the age and tenure of managers have a positive impact on accounting conservatism. However, the level of education has no significant impact on the accounting conservatism of public coal companies, which depends on the particularity of production and management of public coal companies, and cannot completely deny the impact of education level on the conservatism.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of four types of “soft” information and communication technologies (ICT) capital related to ICT knowledge and skills (ICT personnel, ICT training of ICT personnel and users, ICT unit) on the innovation performance of Greek firms. Furthermore, the paper compares these effects with the ones of the hard ICT capital and also of four important “traditional” innovation determinants identified from previous research in this area (demand expectation, price and non-price competition, market concentration). Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative methodology has been adopted for investigating the above effects, based on the estimation of regression models. Using data collected through a survey based on a structured questionnaire from 271 Greek firms, innovation models have been estimated, having as independent variables measures of hard ICT capital, the examined four types of soft ICT capital and also the above traditional innovation determinants. Findings – The paper has been concluded that in the innovation averse Greek national context the examined traditional innovation determinants have very low impact on firms’ innovation performance, however, on the contrary both hard ICT capital, and three out of the four examined types of soft ICT capital (ICT personnel, ICT training of ICT personnel and users) have positive impact on both process and product/services innovation. Furthermore, it has been found that the total effect of these three knowledge and skills related types of soft ICT capital on innovation performance is stronger than the effect of the hard ICT capital. Research limitations/implications – The main limitations of the paper are that it uses simple innovation performance measures (not distinguishing between different types of innovations), and also is based on firm-level data collected from a single country. The paper has interesting implications for future research on the impact of the relation between ICT and innovation, which should not any more neglect the soft ICT capital, but consider various types of both hard and soft ICT capital. Practical implications – The results of the paper can be useful to firms’ chief information officers and chief executive officers and also to consultants and practitioners interested in maximizing the exploitation of the innovation potential of ICT, in order to understand the hard and soft aspects of ICT that have to be developed for this purpose and optimize firms’ ICT-related investment. Originality/value – The limited previous empirical literature concerning the effect of ICT on innovation focus on the hard ICT capital (mainly on ICT equipment) and neglect the role of the soft ICT capital. The paper contributes to fill this research gap, by examining the effects of three types of ICT capital, and also – for comparison and regression models’ completeness purposes – of hard ICT capital and of four traditional innovation determinants, on firms’ innovation performance.

For economic growth and development in any WE African country the GDP progress is depending on the key push-pull factors as migration, personal remittances received, bilateral aids and, absolutely, employment in agriculture which is about 1/3 of the population and not a predominant and protected minority as happens in the industrialized EU and North America. In order to represent the framework of the reciprocal dependencies the present study used the statistics of Gambia from WDI covering the periods from 1960 to 2017 by applying linear regression models. The results confirmed that migration and remittances have significant positive impact on employment in agriculture because new investment in agriculture created new skilled and unskilled employment. The results also found out that employment in agriculture has negative and significant impacts on foreign aids: 10% increase in migration, increases foreign aid by 50.3%. Increasing 10% of remittance, increase economic growth by 0.14% but 10% increases in employment in agriculture, decrease economic growth by 0.04%. To face globalization the economy of the Gambia should use the foreign aid to improve agriculture production and productivity thereby increase economic growth through human capital theory of migration, skilled migration, export and food security, the study recommends.

PURPOSE of the experiment was the impact of biofertilizers, such as boron and molybdenum humate on the chemical composition of grass biomass of bird's-foot trefoil, red clover and sainfoin. METHODS: The treatment of bird's feet, red clover, sainfoin with boron and molybdenum humate was studied at a dose of 1600 ml/ha. RESULTS: Boron humate had a positive impact on crude protein content in sainfoin. Molybdenum humate increased crude fats of bird's-foot-trefoil forage. Biofertilizers decreased crude fiber in sainfoin. Boron humate increased crude ash in red clover, while NFE had the highest values in bird's-foot-trefoil. Boron humate led to an increase in calcium content in bird's-foot-trefoil and sainfoin star, and decreased it in red clover. The developed graphical regression models: between plant height and the share of legumes in the grassland is y = 0.3232x + 17.709; crude protein and leaves y = 0. 1036x + 12.514; NFE and stems y = 0.1547x + 29.11; crude protein and calcium y = 2.9505x + 8.8375 allow the nutritional value of the feed to be predicted. CONCLUSIONS: Biofertilizers, such as boron and molybdenum humate (160 ml/da) can be recommended for inclusion in the growing technology for bird's-foot-trefoil, red clover and sainfoins, in order to improve forage quality.

As a result of covid-19, the Tokyo Olympics was postponed to 2021, as well as the implementation of the European Cup (UEFA Cup) 2020 was postponed to 2021. At the national level the holding of the XX Papua 2020 PON, which was planned to be held in October 2020, was postponed to 2021. Likewise with the termination of the Indonesian football league since March 14, 2020. From the aspect of sports culture, sports infrastructure and facilities are closed, gym, futsal court, tennis court, public swimming pool. Not to mention the impact on the sports equipment industry. Even so, on the other hand, the Covid-19 pandemic also encourages people to have a culture of healthy living by doing regular exercise independently. This means that Covid-19 on the one hand has had a devastating negative impact, but on the other hand it also has a positive impact. By looking at the impact of Cobvid-19 through 5 dimensions of the impact of Thomas R. Dye's policies, it is hoped that the impact of Covid-19 on the national sports system as a whole can be explained, so that handling efforts can also be formulated with comprehensive and effective policies.

Abstract. Background: Worldwide prevalence of peripheral artery disease (PAD) is increasing and peripheral vascular intervention (PVI) has become the primary invasive treatment. There is evidence that multidisciplinary team decision-making (MTD) has an impact on in-hospital outcomes. This study aims to depict practice patterns and time changes regarding MTD of different medical specialties. Methods: This is a retrospective cross-sectional study design. 20,748 invasive, percutaneous PVI of PAD conducted in the metropolitan area of Hamburg (Germany) were consecutively collected between January 2004 and December 2014. Results: MTD prior to PVI was associated with lower odds of early unsuccessful termination of the procedures (Odds Ratio 0.662, p < 0.001). The proportion of MTD decreased over the study period (30.9 % until 2009 vs. 16.6 % from 2010, p < 0.001) while rates of critical limb-threatening ischemia (34.5 % vs. 42.1 %), patients´ age (70 vs. 72 years), PVI below-the-knee (BTK) (13.2 % vs. 22.4 %), and rates of severe TASC C/D lesions BTK (43.2 % vs. 54.2 %) increased (all p < 0.001). Utilization of MTD was different between medical specialties with lowest frequency in procedures performed by internists when compared to other medical specialties (7.1 % vs. 25.7 %, p < 0.001). Conclusions: MTD prior to PVI is associated with technical success of the procedure. Nonetheless, rates of MTD prior to PVI are decreasing during the study period. Future studies should address the impact of multidisciplinary vascular teams on long-term outcomes.

Based on cross-country panel regressions, the paper analyzes the impact of external currency exposures on monetary policy, exchange rate regime and capital controls. It is determined that positive net external position (which, e.g., is the case for Russia) is associated with a higher degree of monetary policy autonomy, i.e. the national key interest rate is less responsive to Fed/ECB policy and exchange rate fluctuations. Therefore, the risks of cross-country synchronization of financial cycles are reduced, while central banks are able to place a larger emphasis on their price stability mandates. Significant positive impact of net external currency exposure on exchange rate flexibility and financial account liberalization is only found in the context of static models. This is probably due to the two-way links between incentives for external assets/liabilities accumulation and these macroeconomic policy tools.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of public investment programs on the socio-economic development of territories. As a case, the federal target programs for the development of regions and investment programs of the financial development institution — Vnesheconombank, designed to solve the problems of regional development are considered. The impact of the public interventions were evaluated by the “difference in differences” method using Bayesian modeling. The results of the evaluation suggest the positive impact of federal target programs on the total factor productivity of regions and on innovation; and that regional investment programs of Vnesheconombank are improving the export activity. All of the investments considered are likely to have contributed to the reduction of unemployment, but their implementation has been accompanied by an increase in social inequality.
