The Cabin Pressure Control System (CPCS) is an essential part of the aviation environmental control system that ensures aircraft structure and flight crew safety. However, the CPCS usually has potential faults of sensors and actuators. To this end, a Simple Adaptive Control- (SAC-) based reconfiguration method is proposed to compensate for the above adverse effects. Some good pressure control performance of CPCS can be achieved by the basic pressure controller when the system is in normal operation. A parallel feedforward compensator is designed to guarantee the closed-loop system’s stability and the almost strictly positive realness of the augmented system. Thus, the simple adaptive controller can be utilized for the CPCS. In particular, the reconfiguration system can update the control law online when the fault occurs without the system identification process. The reference model is obtained by mathematical model linearization after considering the mechanical characteristics of the CPCS. Extensive simulations under various typical fault scenarios are carried out throughout the entire flight envelope of the aircraft from take-off to landing. Simulation results validate the robustness and reconfiguration control capability of the proposed method.

Industrial boiler steam pressure is an important measure of boiler normal operation. Since there is delay and inertial part, single-loop PID control is difficult to achieve good dynamic characteristics. By analyzing the characteristics of the steam pressure controlled object, this paper presents a fuzzy adaptive PID control based on the cascade control system. Finally, in order to analyze the effect of the control system, mathematical model was constructed by MATLAB simulation to compare fuzzy adaptive PID cascade control with conventional PID control. The results prove that the former has a good control effect.

At cementing of casing of oil and gas wells during the process of injecting of cement slurry in the casing column the slurry can move with a higher speed than it’s linear injection speed. A break of continuity of fluid flow occurs, what can lead to poor quality isolation of producing formations and shorten the effective life of the well. We need to find some technical solution to stabilize the linear velocity of the cement slurry in the column. This task can be resolved with an automated control system.

Aiming at the problems such as switch impulsion, insurmountability for influence caused by nonlinearity in one tank gun control system which adopts double PID controller to realize the multimode switch control between high speed and low speed movement, the system math model is built up; And then, Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) method based on nonroutine reference model is brought in and the adaptive gun controller is designed. Consequently, the compensation of nonlinearity and multimode control are implemented. Furthermore, the Tracking Differentiator (TD) is affiliated to the front of controller in order to restrain the impulsion caused by mode switch. Finally, the validity of control method in this paper is verified by simulation.

This article introduces a measurement system based on LabVIEW used for optical interference fringe on micro-fluidic chips. This system mainly uses cameras to capture real-time images of wedge interference fringe on micro-fluidic chips, then the collected images will be binarized by LabVIEW. The processed images will be divided by zone , determine the flatness and gap thickness of the micro-fluidic chips by interference fringes with different directions of deflection and numbers. Finally, feedback from measured data will be used to adjust the flatness and gap thickness of micro-fluidic chips in order to meet the requirement of tests.

The air compressor system is a time-varying, delay and nonlinear complex system, it has a very important sense to ensure that the supply pressure is stable in the compressor control system. According to the working characteristic of air compressor system, the fuzzy control theory, as one of the modern control theories, was applied into the constant pressure control system to design a fuzzy pressure controller. The simulation results show that the controller was more convenient and effective; it has certain directive significance and reference for the other parameter’s control of air compressor system.

The Liquid Surface Pressure Control is the key factor for the guarantee of Low Pressure Die Casting Quality. Regarding to the disadvantages of conventional PID Control such as pressure fluctuation, poor repeatability of the pressure curve, and so on, we propose Liquid Surface Pressure Control System (LSPCS) based on Fuzzy Adaptive PID. Design method of Fuzzy PID Controller has been discussed, and the realization methods of the hardware and software in this system are developed. This proposed system has a good performance in practice.
