The administrative process carried out continuously produces large data. So the search process takes a long time. The search process by hashing methods can save time faster. Hashing is methods that directly access data in a table by making references to the key that hashing becomes the address in the table. The performance analysis of the hashing method is done by the number of 18 digit character values. The process of analysis is done on applications that have been implemented in the application. The algorithm of hashing method analyzed is progressive overflow (PO) and linear quotient (LQ). The main purpose of performance analysis of hashing method is to know how gig the performance of each method. The results analyzed showed the average value of collision with 15 keys in the analysis of 53.3% yield the same value, while 46.7% showed the linear quotient has better performance.

Learning quadratic functions that had been performed by the majority of vocational school and high school mathematics teacher in Kuala Tungkal is still using conventional learning media. The use of conventional learning media is experiencing a lot of obstacles, such as: a fairly long time in describing the graph function, especially when analyzing some quadratic function graphs with various characteristics. APOS is one of the constructivist learning theory which states that students learn through several stages, namely: action – process – object – schema. And to integrate into media APOS writer adapting ADDIE development model. The effectiveness of the use of media-based learning theory APOS seen from the student activity sheet can be concluded more increased activity of students in the learning process. Study of the test results, students were able to meet the completeness criteria stipulated minimum is 75. With an average value of learning outcomes, namely 87.14. It can be seen from the students' responses on a test group of small and large groups where it is concluded that researchers develop learning media can be categorized as good / interesting in the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Pre-designed spacecraft plans suffer from failure due to the uncertain space environment. In this case, instead of spending a long time waiting for ground control to upload a feasible plan in order to achieve the mission goals, the spacecraft could repair the failed plan while executing another part of the plan. This paper proposes a method called Isolation and Repair Plan Failures (IRPF) for a spaceship with durable, concurrent, and resource-dependent actions. To enable the spacecraft to perform some actions when a plan fails, IRPF separates all defective actions from executable actions in the pre-designed plan according to causal analysis between the failure state and the established plan. Then, to address the competition between operation and repair during the partial execution of the plan, IRPF sets up several regulatory factors associated with the search process for a solution, and then repairs the broken plan within the limits of these factors. Experiments were carried out in simulations of a satellite and a multi-rover system. The results demonstrate that, compared with replanning and other plan-repair methods, IRPF creates an execution plan more quickly and searches for a recovery plan with fewer explored state nodes in a shorter period of time.

Strengthening historical buildings and evaluating their performances make great contributions to both the history of the country and the tourism of the country. In this study, performance analysis and evaluations of the historical cinema hall balcony, which was built in 1933 by a French company and served to Zonguldak province for a long time, are presented in detail. This cinema hall was frequently used by local people between 1933 and 1999 and hosted many Yeşilçam movies. Firstly, examinations were performed in the historical cinema hall and the areas (columns, beams and floors) that were damaged in time were identified. According to the obtained information, it was determined that there were significant damages in the carrier system of the building and there were visible cracks and damages in the columns of the cinema hall. It was also observed that explosions occurred in one of the main carrier columns of the balcony. After the core samples taken from the balcony were tested in the laboratory, the current status of the carrier elements and reinforcements were determined with the help of an x-ray rebar scanner. After all these processes, the structure was modeled as three dimensional (3D) using a special computer program and performance evaluations were performed regarding the current state of the structure. As a result of the performance evaluation, it was determined that the balcony of the historical cinema hall could not survive anymore and would collapse over time. It was concluded that there were great damages especially on the balcony columns and a reinforcement should be made on a total of 6 columns. Strengthening was made to 4 different main columns and a performance analysis was performed again in strengthened structure. After strengthening, it was understood that the columns of the balcony of the cinema hall could survive for a long time.

For (2 + 1)-dimensional wave maps with 𝕊2 as the target, we show that for all positive numbers T0 > 0 and E0 > 0, there exist Cauchy initial data with energy at least E0, so that the solution's life-span is at least [0, T0]. We assume neither symmetry nor closeness to harmonic maps.

ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this presentation, the participants will be able to know how three women victim of childhood trauma; terribly suffered and tackled their situation. They were born in a developing Muslim country. This paper also intends to aware people about victims of childhood trauma and their need for mental and social support.MethodsPersonal interview with these three subjects who were close persons of the researcher. Description of their suffering and way of tackling it were noted. The words were carefully placed as a story.ResultsTwo of the subjects sexually abused by close relatives in their childhood. The third one was abused for as long time as 17 years. All the subjects suffered severely from headache and flatulence from childhood, insomnia and terrifying dreams, sense of insecurity, depression, PTSD.Despite all the grief and pain, these three became highly educated, holding well position in the society and directly indirectly working for distressed women.ConclusionsThe author concludes that childhood trauma can damage a victim in many ways in her entire life.Social support, sharing the incidents with others, counseling may reduce her pain.Religious acts like prayer, reading Holy Book, remembrance of Allah, serving humanity and helping distressed women may console the victim. These three women's heroic lives may give motivation for women with childhood trauma. Even they may inspire others to act like heroes in hardship of life.Disclosure of interestThe author has not supplied his/her declaration of competing interest.

We establish long-time and large-data existence of a weak solution to the problem describing three-dimensional unsteady flows of an incompressible fluid, where the viscosity and heat-conductivity coefficients vary with the temperature. The approach reposes on considering the equation for the total energy rather than the equation for the temperature. We consider the spatially periodic problem.

The present article describes the development of cumulative frequency distributions (similar to clearness index distributions) for daily global horizontal illuminance based on the modeled data of 56 US locations. Normalized variables have been employed to account for seasonal and location dependencies. The normalized variables contain the maximum and minimum illuminance values in the array of daily values in addition to the daily illuminance (the variable to be related to cumulative frequency) and the monthly average daily illuminance. The distributions thus developed discrete in terms of the normalized monthly average daily global illuminance have been presented in a convenient linear form which accommodates continuous values for the parameter. When data are not available, the maximum and minimum of the daily values needed in estimating the parameter first and eventually the daily illuminance values have been correlated to other more readily available predictors. Present distributions have been validated by comparing against the daily illuminance values available in the large data base employed. Daily global illuminance has been predicted with a standard deviation of 23.44 klux and rms difference of 4.64%. The present correlations can be conveniently applied to obtain the 30 or 31 daily illuminance values in a month from the monthly average value.

The support vector machine (SVM) has been spotlighted in the machine learning community because of its theoretical soundness and practical performance. When applied to a large data set, however, it requires a large memory and a long time for training. To cope with the practical difficulty, we propose a pattern selection algorithm based on neighborhood properties. The idea is to select only the patterns that are likely to be located near the decision boundary. Those patterns are expected to be more informative than the randomly selected patterns. The experimental results provide promising evidence that it is possible to successfully employ the proposed algorithm ahead of SVM training.

Abstract Databases are a basic component of every GIS system and many geoinformation applications. They also hold a prominent place in the tool kit of any cartographer. Solutions based on the relational model have been the standard for a long time, but there is a new increasingly popular technological trend – solutions based on the NoSQL database which have many advantages in the context of processing of large data sets. This paper compares the performance of selected spatial relational and NoSQL databases executing queries with selected spatial operators. It has been hypothesised that a non-relational solution will prove to be more effective, which was confirmed by the results of the study. The same spatial data set was loaded into PostGIS and MongoDB databases, which ensured standardisation of data for comparison purposes. Then, SQL queries and JavaScript commands were used to perform specific spatial analyses. The parameters necessary to compare the performance were measured at the same time. The study’s results have revealed which approach is faster and utilises less computer resources. However, it is difficult to clearly identify which technology is better because of a number of other factors which have to be considered when choosing the right tool.
