This study examines the antecedents and consequences of value co-creation behavior in a hospitality context. An online questionnaire with samples of hotel patrons in the United States and Australia was used to obtain data and partial least square modeling was used in the analysis. The results suggest patron fairness perception enhances trust and identification with a hotel, which encourage engagement in the value co-creation behavior. Furthermore, this behavior enhances patron well-being and respect for the hotel. The study contributes to the literature by suggesting a value co-creation behavior model in the hospitality context and empirically examining the antecedents and consequences of this behavior. The results have important implications for managers designing service encounters that can encourage hotel patrons to engage in the value co-creation behavior.

The purpose of this study as to determine how the effect of waterpark image and price fairness on customer satisfaction and its implications for customer loyalty at Waterpark Wahana Surya Bengkulu. The measurement of this study uses 14 indicator items which are distributed using an online questionnaire. The number of samples in this study were 136 respondents and the data were analyzed using SEM PLS (Partial Least Square). Date were collected using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. This research used descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study is primary data. The results of this study prove that 1. waterpark image has a positive effect on price fairness, 2. Waterpark image has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, 3. Fairness of price has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, 4. Waterpark image has a positive effect on customer loyalty, 5. Fairness of price has a positive effect on customer loyalty, 6. Customer satisfaction has no effect on customer loyalty.

Google classroom can work in unidirectional process as it can serve the teachers’ strategies and styles on one hand and students’ perception, understanding, and effective participation in different classroom skills on the other hand. The ac-ceptance of Google classroom is affected by different factors. Some of them are still not clearly specified and discussed in previous research; therefore, they need further investigation. Based on the previous assumption, this study is an attempt to examine the factors that affect the students’ acceptance of Google classroom at Al Buraimi University College (BUC) in Oman. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was adopted to formulate the hypotheses of the current study. The data was collected through an online questionnaire with 337 respondents. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) approach was used to assess both the measurement and structural models. The results of the study prove that both the perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) positively influence the behavioral intention, which in turn influence the actual usage of Google classrooms. This study helps the decision makers of the higher educational institutions to have a better understanding of the effectiveness of us-ing Google classroom by their students. It is assumed that it helps in measuring the level of students’ acceptance to the previously mentioned technology.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the model of the influence of family social support, gratitude, and self-acceptance on subjective well-being in student in Islamic boarding schools. The population in this study was all student of class VII in boarding school X and boarding school Y in Yogyakarta, with a total of 430 students. The sample in this study was 150 students. The sampling technique used for this study was cluster random sampling. The data were collected by using several instruments in the form of scales. The scales consisted of family social support scale, gratitude scale, self-acceptance scale, and subjective well-being scale. Data analysis was performed by testing the outer model and the inner model. The data were analyzed using structural equation model (SEM) through the Smart Partial Least Square 3.2.8 program. The results of this study suggested that the formation of a model of the influence of family social support, gratitude, and self-acceptance on subjective well-being fits with empirical data obtained. In other words, there was a significant positive correlation between all variables being studied and subjective well-being. The theoretical model formed in this study was considered fit, so it can be used as a valid model reference in investigating adolescents' subjective well-being.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the antecedents of e-banking loyalty and evangelism via threefold construct of WEQUAL (usability, information quality, and service interaction) of public sector banks operating in India. Moreover, it also investigates the mediating role of consumers' trust on the website quality of these banks and their impact on e-banking loyalty and evangelism. The data was collected from 243 respondents through online questionnaire. In order to develop the model and test the hypotheses, partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was done through Smart PLS version 3.2.9. Results assert that website quality of banks positively influences the trust of consumers via usability, information quality, and service interaction. Also, consumer trust plays a mediation role between WEBQUAL constructs and e-banking loyalty and evangelism.

Purpose Although the use of instant messaging (IM) at work has been studied in the IS field, its effective use and impact on performance have not been adequately addressed. The purpose of this paper is to explore the antecedents and consequences of the effective use of IM at work by adapting Burton-Jones and Grange’s theory of effective use. Design/methodology/approach The authors introduce “Comprehensive IM policy” as a facilitator of adaptation and learning actions to improve the effective use of IM, which will improve communication quality and productivity. The impact of IM competence on effective use is also discussed. Based on a survey of 215 managers, this study applies the partial least square technique to test the research model. Findings The results indicate that comprehensive IM policy encourages adaptation and learning actions, which improve the effective use of IM and thereafter improve communication quality and productivity. Meanwhile, IM competence has a substitutive interaction effect with IM reconfiguration and self-learning on effective use. Originality/value The results refine the general theory of effective use and provide managers with an approach to leverage IM use at work for performance gains.

<p>Retirement forces older workers to disconnect with their previous behavioural patterns and economic position. Transition and adjustment from working life to retirement places great psychological pressure and financial distress on older workers, especially those with dependent children. Bridge employment provides a solution for older workers to continue working after retirement while transitioning into retirement slowly and smoothly. As losing the job role has a significant impact on the psychological well-being of retirees, engaging in bridge employment helps to fulfil the important psychological functions of older workers by providing an adaptive style to retirement. This study investigates the influence of retirement planning and job satisfaction on bridge employment. A self-administered questionnaire was used in this study and a total of 523 samples were collected for nine major districts in Sabah. Data were analysed using Partial Least Square (PLS) method version 2.0. The result showed a significant relationship between retirement planning and job satisfaction on bridge employment, explaining 4.7% the variance in bridge employment and job satisfaction was found to be the strongest predictor of bridge employment.</p>

Despite the growth of underemployment in the United States, relatively little theoretical or empirical attention has been paid to this phenomenon. This article presents a multidimensional conceptualization of underemployment in terms of education, work duties, field of employment, wages, and permanence of the job. The article then presents testable propositions on both the hypothesized antecedents of underemployment (e.g., economic factors, job characteristics, career history, job search strategies, and demographics) and on the hypothesized consequences of underemployment (e.g., job attitudes, overall psychological well-being, career attitudes, job behaviors, and marital, family, and social relationships). Directions for future theory development, research methodology, and institutional assistance programs for the underemployed are discussed as well.

Work engagement has a contribution to the success of an organization. Governmental institutions are often criticized for showing less satisfying performance and less effective services due to the misconducts of the civil servants such as coming late to work, leaving at working hours, and being less enthusiastic at work. This study aimed to examine civil servants' working conditions using three variables, namely leader-member exchange, psychological well-being, and work engagement. The measuring tools used referred to the Leader-Member Exchange Multidimensional (Liden &amp; Maslyn, 1998), Psychological Well-being Scale (Ryff, 1989) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (Schaufeli &amp; Bakker, 2004). There were 80 civil servants involved in this study as the subjects. They were selected using simple random sampling technique. Statistical techniques used in this study Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with Warp PLS 5.0 Software. The result indicated that the three variables had a positive correlation with one another, and psychological well-being mediated the influence of leader-member exchange on work engagement.

This dissertation introduce and empirically verify a structure of Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) perspective among clients, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and governments. The new approach ESPC structure model presented herein is built on the Motivation-Opportunity-Ability (MOA) theory where key influences are identified. An important component of performance contracting, the performance measurement, has been incorporated in the structure to monitor the effect on ESPC implementation success. The proposed structure and hypothesis were verified as a current ESPC practice in the United States through an online survey. The proposed structure was analyzed to understand relationships between the stakeholders, key factors, barriers and/or practices among the constructs through the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. Due to the complex relationship of non-normal data and small sample size compared to the number of variables, the Partial Least Square SEM (PLS-SEM) method was chosen. The survey statistical results were used to verify the ESPC-MOA structure, develop an implementation guide and identify the ESPC critical factors to help establish its implementation success.

Purpose: Customer satisfaction and reuse intention are fundamental to business success, no exception in digital business. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to determine the dimensions of mobile service quality and its effects on customer satisfaction and reuse intention. Gojek is selected as it is the first super app in the world at once the first “decacorn” company in Indonesia. Methodology: This is a quantitative analysis approach explanatory test. The data were gathered using a purposeful sampling approach using an online questionnaire. The aim of this analysis is to evaluate data from 384 respondents using Warp Partial Least Square 6.0. Main Findings: The result indicates that customer satisfaction directly influences content, program, and digital payment quality. The reuse aim often has a beneficial impact on knowledge efficiency, program functionality, and consumer service. Digital payment accuracy, nevertheless, has a marginal effect on reuse purposes. The finding also reveals that the consistency of the program is the main driver for consumer loyalty and reuse. Implications/Applications: The analysis is critical because in the super application it illustrates quality factors. While the research refers to the Gojek super program, this analysis relates to customers' feedback and the plan to use it on mobile apps. Novelty/originality of this study: This work is an early attempt to detect mobile quality factors that impact reuse in the super application. There is still limited research on the effects of quality mobile services in the super app. The research analyzed the standard of mobile services consisting of knowledge standard, device quality, and super-application digital payment efficiency. The research offered insight into the most significant variables that influence consumer loyalty and the ability to reuse.
