Abstract Background This study aimed to develop an education system using DVD video-based teaching materials or web-based learning to reduce sexual violence among teens in Japan. Methods During the first stage, June 2018 to March 2019, an education program using DVD video teaching materials was carried out at three high schools and four universities with research consent from the director of the facility. From 1337 high school students and first- and second-year university students, subjects in their teen years were targeted for analysis. A survey was conducted at baseline and after the DVD video teaching. During the second stage, November 2019 to March 2020, web-based learning using improved video teaching materials was developed and carried out. From the adolescents who participated in the web-based learning, subjects in their teen years were targeted for analysis. A survey was conducted at baseline and after the web-based learning. Results In the first stage, 876 students consented to and participated in the education using DVD video teaching materials and baseline and after surveys (collection rate 65.5%). Among these, the number of respondents in their teens both baseline and after education was 705 persons (valid response rate 80.4%). In the second stage, the number of respondents in their teens both baseline and after education was 250 respondents in their teens who received web-based learning using the improved video teaching materials (valid response rate 87.1%). The improvement effect of the two programs was observed in attitudes that lead to physical violence, attitudes that lead to mental violence, attitudes that promote healthy conflict resolution, and dangerous attitudes that lead to sexual violence from persons in the community or through the Internet. The web-based learning program achieved an improvement of preventive attitudes toward sexual violence. Conclusions The education program using DVD video teaching materials or web-based learning may help prevent sexual violence among teens in Japan.

The main problem faced by teachers at SMKN 1 Tanah Miring is the lack of accessible teaching materials in the learning process, especially online teaching materials during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this training is to provide knowledge and training to teachers on various types of online teaching materials that can be developed with the web. This training and mentoring are carried out in the form of presentations, training, and mentoring, both through face-to-face and online activities so that at the end of the activity it is hoped that you will know about online learning and various online teaching materials. The results of the evaluation of the activities showed that the majority of the participants, who were all teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Miring, were very satisfied with the implementation of this activity. However, the results of the evaluation of the impact of these activities indicate that the activities that have been implemented have been ineffective. Even though 88% of teachers managed to have their website address, only 10% of them managed to develop their website content according to the subject they were teaching. Keywords: Online Teaching Materials, Web-Based learning, Learning During the Covid-19 PandemicAbstrak. Technology has an important role in improving the quality of education. Learning that is supported by technological devices today seems obligatory to be used in line with the times. Even more varied learning that leads to independent learning for students. Independent learning for students requires teaching materials that can facilitate students in learning, one of which is web-based teaching materials. Web-based learning has been widely implementing in education. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence student interest in web-based learning in higher education using case studies. So that the data and information obtained can later be used as a foundation in the application of web-based learning that is more interesting and better than. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study. Factors that influence students' asking for web-based learning are: Web-based teaching materials are more comfortable to learn without having to print. The use of technology enables students to access knowledge anytime and anywhere. Interactions that occur in Web-based learning are more attractive, which allows students to be able to consult with lecturers at any time. The interface of web-based learning is exciting and not dull. Other factors can be sourced from the teaching style of lecturers, and so on. From several factors that influence student interest, it is also found that web-based learning can change the character of student learning more independently and more timely in the following knowledge and doing assignments given by lecturers.

The study focuses on strategies for how online course outlines can be designed to improve the use of collaborative peer feedback in distance education and how distance students can learn to use argumentation processes as a tool for learning. For ten weeks, 30 student teachers studied the web-based 15 credit course Teacher Assignment. Data was collected from five student groups’ asynchronous argumentation, relating to authentic cases of teacher leadership. Focus was placed on the extent to which students used own and others' texts meaning content in the discussion forum and how the content can be analysed. A close investigation of the dialogical argument patterns (N=253) in their peer feedback shows the extent to which students distinguish, identify, and describe the meaning content that emerges in collaboration with other students in an online setting as an important aspect. The dialogue patterns that developed are illustrated in selected excerpts.

To cope with the increasing trend of learning demand and limited resources, most universities are taking advantage of Web-based technology for their distance education or e-learning (Montelpare & Williams, 2000). One of the reasons is due to the significant price drop of personal computers in recent decades; the Internet and multimedia have penetrated into most households. Moreover, most students prefer to learn from an interactive environment through a self-paced style. Under the Web-based learning model, students can learn anytime, anywhere because they are not required to go to school on schedule (Appelt, 1997). Meanwhile, universities also enjoy the economic benefit due to the large student base that can share the development cost of course materials and other operational expenses. Gradually, more and more universities follow this similar way to provide online education.

In recent years, a number of models concerning problem solving systems have been put forward. However, many of them stress on technology and neglect the research of problem solving itself, especially the learning mechanism related to problem solving. In this paper, we analyze the learning mechanism of problem solving, and propose that when designing Web-based problem solving systems, more attention should be paid to the learning mechanism involved in the problem solving process than to the technology itself. On the basis of that, some new ideas on the design of the problem solving systems are put forward in order to promote the rapid development of the Web-based problem solving systems.
