The author presents the content of the students research potential development in the didactic module in the context of the ideas of integrity, cultural genesis and systemogenesis. The implementation of the idea of integrity allows providing harmonious combination of what a student has learnt and his unstructured knowledge, invariant and variant parts of the content including present scientifi c achievements, problem and hypothetical knowledge, knowledge of tomorrows science in the form of the objects of observation or refl ection. The idea of cultural genesis makes it possible to determine the accents in the cultural composition of the syllabus. The idea of systemogenesis leads to understanding the methods of selection of universal educational activities, which will be implemente d by a student while solving problems.

The aim of the study was to investigate approaches to the formation of general educational skills. A survey examining the design and research process was carried out by 6th-grade Russian students over the course of an extracurricular project entitled «Names of Modern Professions». In the paper, the selection of the «Lexicology» section for such activities carried out by school pupils is substantiated and stages of work on the project are described. The applied methodology involves theoretical analysis of scientific literature, formative experimentation, analysis of products of educational activities, observation and description. It is concluded that the design of extracurricular research activities in the Russian language contributes to the formation of general educational competencies in conducting surveys and searching for information on the basis of subject skills.

229 Background: Since late 2018, 2 TRK inhibitors—larotrectinib and entrectinib—have been approved by the EMA and FDA for treating patients with advanced solid tumors harboring an NTRK fusion and progressive disease or no therapeutic alternatives. It is recommended that testing for NTRK fusions occur as early as possible after a diagnosis of advanced disease in patients with solid tumors to inform potential use of TRK inhibitors. Methods: Between April 2018 and April 2021, we conducted multiple live and online educational activities for oncology healthcare professionals (HCPs) on NTRK fusion testing and/or TRK inhibitor treatment for varied solid tumors. Each activity included polling questions designed to assess HCP knowledge and practice patterns. In this analysis, we assessed HCP responses to these questions to evaluate awareness of expert recommendations on NTRK fusion testing and the selection of TRK inhibitor therapy for appropriate patients. Results: In 6 live and online activities with data from April 2018 to April 2021, 29% of HCPs (n = 844) indicated that they ordered molecular profiling to test for NTRK fusions in all solid tumors in their current practice. Of note, low rates of testing were reported in TRK inhibitor/ NTRK testing-focused activities throughout this time period, with no significant increase over time. In assessing different patient cases across 8 activities where experts recommended TRK inhibitor therapy as optimal, many HCPs did not select a TRK inhibitor, with considerable variance by tumor type (Table). *For all cases, experts selected larotrectinib and/or entrectinib as optimal treatment. †HCP respondents. GBM, glioblastoma; GI, gastrointestinal; MSI-H, microsatellite instability-high; PD, progressive disease; PTC, papillary thyroid cancer. Conclusions: The rate of broad testing for NTRK fusions across patients with solid tumors remains low, and many HCPs lack awareness of when to consider a TRK inhibitor. Educational activities designed to address these deficiencies would be of clear benefit to HCPs treating patients with advanced solid tumors. A detailed analysis of HCP trends will be presented.[Table: see text]

The paper seeks to develop the discussion of informal care in the community stimulated by feminist analyses in social policy of what has been called ‘the moral politics of caring’. In particular the paper enquires into the relationship between family structures and the ‘political styles’ through which families bargain about caring issues. A selection of studies dealing with family structure and decision-making are discussed. The paper closes by making some observations about the potential development of family therapy strategies, particularly by social workers trying to ensure the co-operation and involvement of family members, friends and neighbors in caring responsibilities within the new community care framework.

Characteristics of 305 calving sites used by 131 different radio-collared caribou (Rangifer tarandus) cows from the Porcupine herd in northeastern Alaska and the northern Yukon Territory were investigated between 1983 and 1990 to determine the factors influencing calving site selection. Cows selected areas north of the foothills primarily to reduce exposure of calves to predators. Sites dominated by Eriophorum tussocks were selected secondarily for access to newly emerging vegetation. Highest calf mortality occurred in years when snowmelt was relatively late and calving occurred closer to the foothills and in Canada. Industrial development of the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge could increase calf mortality if calving were displaced south and east of potential development areas.

Phenolic compounds are secondary metabolites frequently found in plants that exhibit many different effects on human health. Because of the relevant bioactivity, their identification and quantification in agro-food matrices as well as in biological samples are a fundamental issue in the field of quality control of food and food supplements, and clinical analysis. In this review, a critical selection of sensors and biosensors for rapid and selective detection of phenolic compounds is discussed. Sensors based on electrochemistry, photoelectrochemistry, fluorescence, and colorimetry are discussed including devices with or without specific recognition elements, such as biomolecules, enzymes and molecularly imprinted materials. Systems that have been tested on real matrices are prevalently considered but also techniques that show potential development in the field.
