The dynamism of the ongoing reforms in the domestic banking sector, one way or another, concerns the relationship of banks with their clients. The customer base responds differently to the reform of the banking system: there is a category of clients who do not take the action of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, they argue that the monopoly of state-owned banks will lead to a deterioration of service, reduction in quality of banking products and riskiness of banking operations. But there is another category of customers who are positive about the changes and consider increasing the state presence in the banking market of the natural course of development. They link these changes with the possibility of increasing the funding the most important sectors of the real sector of the economy: construction, metallurgy, mechanical engineering. The problem of the banking sector today and in previous periods is similar in many respects: banks still continue to search for the elusive Holy Grail - lasting relationships with customers. Despite the high technology, graphical user interfaces and marketing strategy for the implementation of the task is still unclear in many respects.

Macau has the uppermost population density and the fourth-highest GDP per capita in the world. Macau’s banking system is regarded as one of the most important indicators of Macau’s macroeconomic growth and stability during its transformation into a wealthy and modern metropolis. In this study, we use a sample of 26 banks to explore the relationship of bank competition, efficiency and stability in Macau from its return to China in 1999 to 2016. Our results demonstrate that bank competition does cause efficiency in Macau throughout the study period. We also find indications of a positive but not significant connection between bank market power and bank fragility including income volatility and insolvency risk. Moreover, this study finds no evidence that the size of operations proxied by total bank loans and total assets would impact bank efficiency, indicating that economies of scale or bank market share don’t necessarily bring about efficiency in Macau. Our evidence contributes to the literature by being the first to thoroughly examine the relation of bank competition, efficiency and stability in Macau. The findings provide meaningful implications to the practitioners and policymakers to make sound decisions accordingly, especially to closely monitor and maintain a proper level of competition in Macau’s banking sector.

Albania has a relatively new financial system, where banking system is the most developed financial service in our country, with a share of 94, 4% of the total financial services. This is a phenomenon of countries with emerging economies, which proves that there is greater reliance on the state economic development of the banking sector, by effecting from the households to the biggest investors and the government. As in any market, competition is important for the banking sector because, it affects the efficiency and the quality of services offered. Furthermore, competition in banking has also implications for other sectors of the economy. So, higher competition in the banking sector is found to be associated with a faster growth of other sectors of the economy that rely on external financing. The main goal of this paper is to understand the characteristics of competition in our banking system and study the relationship between the level of concentration and competition. We are going to measure the concentration by the “H” indices. The “H” (Herfindaflit) indices is a measure of the level of the concentration of the banking system of a country. A high level of the indices shows a high level of concentration and as a consequence a low level of competition. A low level of the indices shows a low level of concentration which is sign of a banking market with a high competition.

В статье рассмотрены основные аспекты происходящей эволюции банковской системы в условиях цифровизации экономики. Сделан вывод о наличии противоречивых тенденций в развитии банковского рынка, усиление процессов монополизации банковского сектора не способствует укреплению конкурентных отношений, что негативным образом отражается на качестве предоставляемых услуг потребителям. The article considers the main aspects of the ongoing evolution of the banking system in the context of digitalization of the economy. The conclusion is made that there are contradictory trends in the development of the banking market, and the strengthening of the processes of monopolization of the banking sector does not contribute to strengthening competitive relations, which negatively affects the quality of services provided to consumers.

The relationship between the structure of the banking market and efficiency of banks has been a subject of many studies for several decades. There is no uniform opinion on the correlation between these variables. The goal of the research is to investigate this relationship for 96 banks operating in eleven CEE countries in the years of 2005-2017. Bank efficiency scores are assessed with the SFA method and regressed with bank and macroeconomic characteristics. The results show that the efficiency of banks is positively affected by the concentration of the market on which they operate, as well as by the size of individual banks. This relationship is valid for all examined countries. Additionally, bank efficiency is positively impacted by improving the banking system. On the other hand, the GDP per capita, inflation rate and bank capital ratio are not conducive to bank efficiency.

В статье рассматриваются интересные и актуальные вопросы и проблемы, связанные с функционированием банковских учреждений Российской Федерации в условиях пандемии коронавируса. Выделены основные проблемные направления, которые присутствуют в настоящее время в банковской сфере из-за «коронакризиса», обозначены последствия и предложены пути решения проблемных вопросов. Также проведен анализ финансовой ситуации в банковских учреждениях Российской Федерации. Акцент сделан на таких параметрах как капитал, платежеспособность, ликвидность, профицит. Произведено сравнение основных финансовых показателей деятельности банковских учреждений до пандемии и в настоящее время. Исследована динамика на рынке потребительского кредитования банковскими учреждениями Российской Федерации, выявлены и обоснованы основные тенденции. Проанализированы действующие направления поддержки работы банковского сектора со стороны государства. Сделаны соответствующие выводы и даны рекомендации. The article examines interesting and topical issues and problems related to the functioning of banking institutions of the Russian Federation in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The main problem areas that are currently present in the banking sector due to the "coronacrisis" are highlighted, the consequences are indicated and ways of solving problematic issues are proposed. The analysis of the financial situation in banking institutions of the Russian Federation was also carried out. The emphasis is on such parameters as capital, solvency, liquidity, surplus. Comparison of the main financial indicators of banking institutions' activities before the pandemic and at present is made. The dynamics of the consumer lending market by banking institutions of the Russian Federation is investigated, the main trends are identified and substantiated. The current directions of government support for the banking sector are analyzed. The corresponding conclusions are made and recommendations are given.

The article reflects the main sections of Clinical guidelines «Hearing loss, noise-induced» (second revision) included in the Rubric of Clinical guidelines of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation in 2018, CG609 and aimed at streamlining and unification of actions in clinical diagnostic and expert work. The purpose of the of research is to help the practitioner in making the right decision on the assessment of health, treatment of hearing loss caused by industrial noise, on the basis of evidence-based step-by-step protocols. Material and methods. The subject of the development of the CG609 were high rates of occupational hearing loss in employees of “noise-hazardous” industries, classified as “Professional sensorineural hearing loss”. Results. The structure of the CG609 is presented, the importance of unified approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, examination of the relationship of the disease of the hearing with the profession and aptitude is shown. The criteria of evidence and credibility of specific recommendations are given. Discussion. CG609 are created on the generally accepted, repeatedly approved methodology of development of SIGN (2014) guaranteeing reliability of recommendations, generalization of the best world experience and modern knowledge, applicability in practice and convenience in use. The use of high-quality clinical guidelines makes it possible to introduce into medical practice the most effective medical technologies, to refuse unreasonable and unsafe interventions and to improve the quality of medical care. Conclusion. CG609 are required for the integrated interaction of specialists otolaryngologists, audiologists-otorhinolaryngologists, pathologists, physicians, occupational health, occupational medicine and all medical professionals involved in diagnostic and expert work of the assessment of hearing in workers «noise hazardous» professions.

Objectively and reliably determined indicators of rheological properties of the dough were identified using the alveograph device to create a system of classifications of wheat and flour from it for the intended purpose in the future. The analysis of the relationship of standardized quality indicators, as well as newly developed indicators for identifying them, differentiating the quality of wheat flour for the intended purpose, i.e. for finished products. To do this, we use mathematical statistics methods.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

The article considers the general theoretical foundations of the relationship of sectarianism and religious extremism in the Russian Federation. Practical examples of the role of destructive sects in modern religious extremism in the Russian Federation are given.
