The study introduces the approach of creating a virtual laboratory for performing laboratory works with remote access. The proposed virtual lab can be used for distance learning and is an extension of the functionality of the previously created virtual workshop. This virtual laboratory with remote access is an alternative to laboratory works performed with real experimental equipment and provides an opportunity to gain skills in operation with measuring microwave equipment without giving classes in educational laboratories. The results of testing virtual lab works with remote access in educational radiophysics laboratories are presented.

This paper proposes a solution for carrying out laboratory work in the strict conditions of the Covid - 19 pandemic. The traditional laboratory can be replaced by the virtual laboratory or the remote laboratory, depending on the requirements of the course and the skills required for the training of engineers. The environment for performing alternative laboratory work (Virtual or Remote Laboratory) is the Multisim software from National Instruments. The student with the help of this software can make the electrical circuits provided in the curriculum of the discipline of General Electrical Engineering. This paper presents four examples of alternative laboratory works for the field of electrical engineering, namely, three-phase electrical circuits, static electrical converters, asynchronous motor and electric drive system. The student can simulate the required regimes in the laboratory guide and is free to simulate other regimes at his own initiative. The paper ends with the proposal of a step-by-step algorithm, which can be a guide for any teacher who wants to organize alternative laboratory work.

Due to the fact, that there is a significant modernization of university laboratory equipment, the widespread transition to computer measurement systems, the widespread introduction of Internet technologies for conducting theoretical and laboratory studies, a number of virtual laboratory works (VLW) have been developed using software resources, such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, LabVIEW Web services, VIPM Browser National Instruments, Wolfram Mathematica, Flash Adobe. The purpose of creating the lab works under consideration was to instill the skills of working with measuring instruments, independent measurements and calculations by each student, the ability to do research on the topic of lab by changing the initial conditions of the system and analyzing their influence on the behavior of the system. It was studied, what in common and what differences have VLW and real laboratory work (RLW) in terms of didactic goals, their content, role in obtaining practical skills, acquiring research competencies. The definition of VLW and RLW, as well as the corresponding remote work, is given. The advantages, possibilities, expediency of the development and application of VLW, created on software products and simulating real physical processes, phenomena and patterns, are discussed. Prospects for further research of VLW with the involvement of actual material of real laboratory work, methods of their software implementation and modeling packages are outlined

AbstractA problem for a circular economy, embedded in its policies, tools, technologies and models, is that it is driven by the interests and needs of producers, rather than customers and users. This opinion paper focuses on an alternative form of governance—agreements, which thanks to their bargaining approach brings actors from across the value chain into the policy process. The purpose of this opinion paper is to uncover and analyse the potential of such agreements for a circular economy. Circular agreements aim at increasing the circulation of materials and are an emerging form of political governance within the EU. These agreements have different names, involve different actors and govern in different ways. However, circular agreements seem to work when other types of regulations fail to establish circulation. These agreements bring actors together and offer a platform for negotiating how advantages and disadvantages can be redistributed between actors in a way that is more suitable for a circular economy. However, circular agreements are dependent on other policy instruments to work and can generate a free-rider problem with uninvolved actors. The agreements may also become too detailed and long term, which leads to problem shifting and lock-ins, respectively.

The surface shape of structure plane is closely related with its mechanics property. Precise measurement to the surface shape of structure plane is the basis of deformation mechanism and strength characteristics. On the basis of studying advantages and disadvantages of the measuring instrument, the author has developed a new kind of portable measuring instruments innovatively - Contact Punching Device which has improved open-air working efficiency greatly. Application results show that JRC obtained by the Contact Punching Device is very close to the actual JRC of surface shape of the structure plane. Then about size effect of rigid structure plane, got the following principle that the statistical variance of the undulating roughness of the structure surface decays gradually with length of the rock sample, and got the limiting length of the undulating roughness when the influence of shearing intensity of the structure is dispelled. Finally, which proved through the embodiment of different rock and different weathering rock, the result indicates this method can be applied to engineering.

The paper pertains to the reconstruction of theoretical assumptions related to the education proces of early education teachers with the use of learning environment. It is a proposition of reshaping the current preparatory schedule for teachers working with children from its traditional form into a formula based on laboratory work. Among various topics the article discusses theoretical grounds for the early education workshop derived from the concept of the learning environment. It also attempts to define the discussed terms in the cultural context. The article closes with a section devoted to practical recommendations worth taking into account when establishing the workshop.

The article substantiates the importance and problems of determining of such an indicator of the quality of solid fossil fuels, as mechanical strength. The strength of coal depends on a large number of factors (viscosity, brittleness, properties of structural bonds, etc.), the change of which is impossible to take into account. Therefore, the strength of coal in the sample, piece, pack and formation must be represented by some integral index, which inevitably fluctuates around a certain average value and can be determined only approximately. The evaluation of the strength properties of coal should be carried out on the basis of mass tests using statistical methods that allow to calculate the average value and coefficient of variation. Since the strength dispersion is mainly due to the natural inhomogeneity of the coal, the excessive accuracy of the measuring instruments has almost no effect on the statistical characteristics. Laboratory methods of mechanical tests of mine samples, in comparison with full-scale, as a rule, are very accessible and, at qualitative performance of tests, are highly reliable. The properties of coal as an object of enrichment and use are largely related to its physical properties. The physical properties of coal and mineral impurities significantly affect the formation of the main parameters that characterize the particle size distribution and fractional composition, it`s changes during the mining, transportation and enrichment processes. The basic physical and mechanical properties of solid fuels from the point of view of their industrial processing have been listed, the review has been made of the most widespread methods of study of coals mechanical durability and the equipment used for these purposes. The main advantages and disadvantages have been summarized of these methods, as well as their relationship. The factors have been Indicated tinfluencing the mechanical strength of coal. The expediency of using existing methods from the point of view of informativeness for thesphere of its application has been estimated. The methods common in the coal processing industry are considered in more detail. Keywords: coal, solid fuel mining, mechanical strength, determination methods, influencing factors, grinding strength, crushing index. Corresponding author V.V. Koval, e-mail: [email protected]

The advantages and disadvantages of using a virtual laboratory and computer models in the educational process in physics are identified. The expediency of using virtual laboratories and computer models in the context of mixed physics education is substantiated. To teach future physics teachers to create and use computer models of physical phenomena and processes is carried out in a professionally oriented author's course "Methods of using computer technology in professional activities." The stages of development of a physical model for the formulation of a mathematical problem are described and the implementation on the example of development and use of the program "Dynamic model of an ideal gas" is shown.
